    The Collier Landry Show

I’m Collier Landry. I survived a childhood shaped by trauma—and spent my adult life learning how to build a real life beyond it.

This show isn’t about reliving the past. It’s about what comes after survival.

Here, I explore the ongoing work of building a grounded, meaningful life through creativity, discipline, and honest conversation. I talk about mental health, identity, relationships, art, and the practical realities of rebuilding after adversity—without quick fixes or performative vulnerability.

My story has been told publicly, but this space is focused on the life I built beyond it. I share what I’ve learned not because I have all the answers, but because I know what it means to feel fractured—and what it takes to keep going.

You’re not broken. You’re not alone. And you’re not done yet.

Sex Trafficking, Hip Hop, and Corruption In America with Investigative Journalist Brian Joseph Oct 14, 2024
    Show notes

In the wake of the P. Diddy scandal, more and more attention has been drawn to the malignant epidemic of sex trafficking in America. Today, investigative journalist and author Brian Joseph joins the program.

It’s been more than six years since investigative reporter Brian Joseph began researching the underbelly of sex trafficking, starting at the Las Vegas Review-Journal. His investigation extracted a harsh reality here in the United States: Law enforcement agencies trip up, and their investigations into sex trafficking become compromised, and self-interest corrupts news organizations and the corridors of power that might otherwise have been able to help bring sex trafficking in America to an end.

Joseph says it’s time to face the realities of sex trafficking, pimps, and prostitution in America…all of us. That mission and his work have culminated in his book, Vegas Concierge: Sex Trafficking, Hip Hop, and Corruption In America.

    In This Episode:

We explore the tragic death of Matthew Perry and the shocking involvement of medical professionals who illegally obtained and distributed ketamine, leading to his untimely passing. Dr. Mark Chavez has pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges, while other defendants, including Dr. Salvador Plasencia and Perry’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, remain central to the unfolding case.

Drawing parallels to Michael Jackson's death at the hands of Dr. Conrad Murray, we delve into how addiction, enablers, and negligence intersect, with references to the opioid crisis documentaries Crime of the Century and American Pain, available on MAX.

I also share my thoughts on addiction and the harmful dynamics that often surround high-profile individuals struggling with substance use disorders.

Rest in peace, Matthew Perry. You brought joy to millions, and your loss is deeply felt.

ANALYSIS: Donna Adelson Pre Trial Hearing w/ Katie Cool Lady Sep 13, 2024
    Show notes

Donna Adelson, accused of orchestrating the 2014 murder-for-hire plot that killed her former son-in-law, Dan Markel, appeared in court on September 12, 2024, for pretrial motions ahead of her trial. The judge ruled on several key motions, including the partial allowance of a police sergeant's testimony about phone records. The court also discussed the admissibility of jail calls and Wendi Adelson's testimony. Donna faces a trial starting September 17, 2024.

My guest today is Katie Cool Lady https://www.youtube.com/@katiecoolady_theheartspace

Katie has devoted countless hours to the Justice for Dan Markel movement. She joins the program to give me some background on the case against Donna Adelson and her thoughts on whether Wendi Adelson will be the next domino to fall.
