Leaks and Spoilers- Ep. 191 May 05, 2020

Show notes

t’s never fun when something that we love is leaked early. Some people enjoy the art before the rest of the world. Some people cheat the artists out of money that they worked hard for. Others don’t really mind when art is leaked. However a person lands on this issue, it causes people to take contentious stances. When the The Last of Us 2 leaks happened, we knew that it was a topic that would impact all of four of here, and it was deemed to be discussed. This week on the Chompcast, we discuss the leaks of TLOU2, with all of us being various levels of disgusted. Afterwards, we delve into a whole host of games past and present. We quickly get into a few social media polls and end the episode lighthearted. Thank you for continuing to be the best fans in the world. Take care of yourselves out there. However, we were not alone as we were joined by the magnificent Leslie from Sector 7. We tied our FF7R talk to the topic of the show: changes to past games through remakes and remasters. We also fit a little bit more talk of Animal Crossing New Horizons. Thank you to all and have a great time gaming!

It’s rare that you are completely blown away by an experience. An experience that is so profound that it affects every fiber of your being is one that most, if not all of us, cherish. We learn about ourselves and the world through that experience, and it shapes who we become. But do you know what’s even more rare? The ability to have that first experience again. That’s what the gaming world was treated to last week as the Final Fantasy 7 Remake was finally (yes, actually) released. Rich and Shea are over the moon as they discuss their first impressions with Josh and Morgan. We also discussed the ever polarizing reveal of the upcoming PS5 controller. With those two topics taking up a majority of our time, we managed to squeeze in some quick poll action before we called it a day.
