Show notes

Hello, everyone! Welcome to the first of 3 weeks of Game of the Year for 2020. That’s right, we switched it up on you. This year, we kicked off the discussion with Best Soundtrack of the Year, Best Song of the Year, and Best Title Screen Music of the year. That’s right; we wanted to give heaps of credit to some of the best composers in the game….the gaming game. Or something. Anyways, enjoy the show and stay tuned for next week when we break down many categories!

Will.i.am Dafoe - Ep. 223 Jan 12, 2021

Show notes

Everyone, welcome to 2021! Whew, we managed to escape whatever the hell 2020 is. Despite the world largely being a dumpster fire, we saw some incredible games (which we will be talking about starting next week). However, this week, we broke in the new year with one of our annual shows here at Sword Chomp: the most anticipated games of 2021. We look at games collectively to talk about our mutual excitement and interest. We also reveal our personal choices that we just couldn’t get the other guys on board with. And if you thought that was going to be a wave of content, just wait until you hear us catch up on 3 weeks’ worth of gaming that we managed to do over our break! We talked about so…many…games. Too many to list, in fact. But a highlighted few that we discussed were Super Meatbot Forever and Sackboy: A Big Adventure. We are beyond excited to see what 2021 holds for the world here at Sword Chomp. Thank you for starting your year with us, and if you know anyone that would love our content, please share your love of us with them! TO 2021 AND TO GLORY!

Morgan decided the topic this week was going to be him complaining to everyone that he wasn’t able to reserve a PS5 and have fans comment on why the world sucks. Yes, we know we are a gaming podcast, but Morgan somehow forgot that. We also talked about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,

Unity of Obscenities - Ep. 216 Nov 10, 2020

Show notes

When’s the last time that you took a trip down memory lane to make yourself feel old? Remember that period of time where you and your friends didn’t have tons of responsibilities, and you could hop online at night to play games with them whenever you wanted? Maybe for some of you, that’s now. For others, like us old people, those days have sadly come and gone. We wanted to reminisce this week on the newest episode, so we talked about the online gaming experiences that we wish we could go back to live through again. After that self-inflicted torture upon ourselves, we discussed the games we have been playing: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Amnesia Rebirth, Watchdogs Legion, Superliminal, and Disc Room. We also managed to sneak in some The Last Ronin talk. And, of course, we rounded up the show with some lovely social media polls. A special thank you to Ubisoft for sending us a review copy of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla.

We round up the show with the social media polls and the special Patreon shout-outs!
