    Show notes

Affiliate Marketing. What is it? How can it benefit my business? How do I get started? These are the number one questions I get when it comes to affiliate marketing. Today, I've brought in one of the experts, Brandi Mowles, to talk to you all about all things affiliate marketing and how it can be your secret weapon when adding additional streams of revenue to your business.

As a social media VA turned Facebook + IG ads strategist, Brandi Mowles grew her income to multiple 6-figures in under 18 months. In addition to running the service-based portion of her business, Brandi helps other entrepreneurs scale to 5-figure months so they can enjoy the same financial and life-freedom that she has. When she isn't managing a $100,000+ monthly ad spend for her clients or teaching other service-based businesses how to scale, you can find Brandi taking family bike rides with her husband and daughter, visiting farmers markets, or nerding it up at trivia nights.

Do you have a notebook and some paper ready? Get ready to take notes on this one so you can find out how to make affiliate marketing work for you.

In this episode you will learn:

    • What affiliate marketing is
    • How to use affiliate income as passive income
    • How you can become eligible to become an affiliate
    • Must-haves you should do to kick-start affiliate marketing

I am so thrilled to have Britt Seva on the podcast today. When I tell you the wealth of information she has to offer is golden, I truly mean it.

Britt created Thrivers Society, her trademark hairstylist business education program that teaches stylists and salon owners how to grow their business, step-by-step, without any fluff or theories.

As Thrivers Society grew, Britt wanted to create a community where students could connect, brainstorm ideas, and dive into her free, simplified business-building resources. And Thriving Stylist Tribe was born.

Britt shows hairstylists how to build a business you love instead of operating from a place of fear of scarcity. With nine years' experience coaching thousands of stylists and salon owners, she know what it takes to create a business and a holistically wealthy life you abso-freaking-lutely love.

In this episode, Britt talks about how she started her business and how she's grown it into what it is today by serving her audience and creating a culture that serves them in their own journey.

The Importance of Personal Development with Stephanie DeLussey Nov 06, 2019
    Show notes

I had the opportunity to interview Stephanie DeLussey and I have to say, this is one of my favorite interviews. Stephanie gets vulnerable about mental health and how she has not only dealt with anxiety in her life, but also how she works at it daily to make sure she is showing up in the world as her best self. In this interview, we talk about the importance of personal development and how it plays such an important role in your life, but before we go on, let me tell you a little bit more about Stephanie.

Stephanie is a dual-certified special education teacher, currently residing in the Atlanta, GA area. She started her TpT "side-business" in 2011 and worked Full Time as a special ed teacher up until being diagnosed with severe anxiety in January 2017. Currently, Stephanie creates high-quality, engaging adapted resources for teachers and students with special needs, provides professional development for teachers at colleges and conferences, and mentors teachers online through her website and social media outlets. She is also a huge mental health advocate, sharing her experiences and struggles to let others know that you can survive the dark seasons and thrive in life with a mental illness.

I can't wait for you to hear this one, Go-Getters, and I hope you take something from this episode.

In this episode you will learn:

    • About Stephanie's journey as a teacher and an entrepreneur
    • How Stephanie has dealt with anxiety in her life
    • How Stephanie has dealt with "mean girls" in school and online and how she worked through those times

Overcoming Challenges Courageously with Heather Chauvin Oct 25, 2019
    Show notes

When Heather popped into my DMs on Instagram, I knew she was special. There was something about her that was real, vulnerable and I knew she had a story to tell. One thing that I love about Heather is that she tells it likes it is, has a passion for making an impact on the world and shares her story because she knows it may help someone, even if it is just one person.

Before we get into the show I wanted to tell you a little bit more about Heather Chauvin, the creator of the Mom Is In Control Podcast. On her podcast, she reveals her most vulnerable truths about womanhood, parenting her 3 boys, living through stage 4 cancer, navigating marriage and creating business success without burning out.

With new podcasts every day, Heather draws on her experience as a former Social Worker, mental health advocate and inspirational speaker, giving women permission to live more, drop the guilt and ask for what they need.

Heather has been featured on The Huffington Post, The OWN Network, CTV, Real Simple Magazine, The Jenny McCarthy Show and interviewed by many notable podcasters and radio shows.

Her motto is "in order to raise happy, calm and confident children, we must become the person we most desire them to be." I mean, who couldn't agree with that. right?
