The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. We are barrelling towards peak "holiday" season. Kwanzaa, Christmas, Hanukah and some other pagan rituals will have the world's attention for the next 30 days. And the hysteria invariably infects the workplace. Gus recommends avoiding "gift swaps" and other activities that are unrelated to your workplace duties. If you are required to attend a holiday office party, make certain that you are: sober, alert, accompanied by a trustworthy Victim of Racism, and present for a limited amount of time. If alcohol will be consumed during the activities, Gus recommends avoiding the event and announcing your commitment to "dry" December. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the debut study session on Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf's In The Blink of an Eye. Abdul-Rauf, formerly known as Chris Jackson, is a retired NBA player who became infamous for not participating in the national anthem during the 1996 season. Abdul-Rauf was quickly ejected from the league and all but forgotten. In fact, White journalists found as many of Abdul-Rauf's black co-workers as possible to have them criticize how he responded to White Supremacy/Racism. This very dynamic is being replicated currently with basketball player Kyrie Irving being widely admonished by many of his non-white colleagues. Gus hopes that by studying Abdul-Rauf's tribulations, non-white people will better understand the importance of resisting the urge to criticize other Victims of Racism. The Chesapeake, Virginia Walmart was the location of one of the more recent mass shootings. A 31-year-old black male, Andre Bing, is accused of having killed 6 people and taken in his own life in the carnage. Four of the six fatalities appear to be non-white people to Gus. Bing is alleged to have written a "death note" accusing his co-workers of mocking him and calling him cannibal serial killer "Jeffrey Dahmer." Speaking of White traditions, while Jerry Jones's Dallas Cowboys hosted a home tackle football game on Thanksgiving Day for the 56th time since 1966, a Washington Post report showcased a 1957 photograph of a teenage Jones amongst a gang of White Supremacists who are verbally abusing a small group of black students attempting to "integrate" an Arkansas high school. Jones said we're bringing up old stuff and he was just "curious." While the planet focuses on the World Cup in Qatar, black soccer players are constantly subjected to Racial threats and humiliation on social media. It's 'negro friday' in many parts, so many people are given time away from the plantation to brawl and loot at the department stores. Some venues may have added security after a non-white Walmart employee reportedly killed six workers and took his own life at a Chesapeake, Virginia store. It's alleged that suspected gunman Andre Bing had conflict with other co-workers and was described as "weird," although no one reported concerns that Bing might become violent. Once again, we read Gavin De Becker's The Gift of Fear, he writes that most often, co-workers often display early signs of their malicious intent. The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 10th and final study session on the late Bill Russell's 1979 publication, Second Wind: The Memoirs of an Opinionated Man. We've learned so much about the Louisiana native. We heard about his sexual activity with a drug addict, White whore. We learned about his disdain for Abe Saperstein and his minstrel show Harlem Globetrotters. We heard about his mother Katie Russell and his father (Mr. Charlie) molded him into the inspirational figure we revere. Last week, we heard about Russell's many non-constructive arrangements with females. He details arguments, alcohol-fueled traffic collisions, and bloody confrontations with a black female. Meanwhile, his White hooker/paramour is presented as a Rhodes Scholar and humanitarian who studies slavery. Russell also explains how White Men in the NBA were furious about his refusal to shave. Apparently, they contemplated making a new rule to demand that all players - especially the black males - shear their faces. "Big Bill" wraps things up reminiscing about his days in Seattle, Washington with his White "hippie friends" and scaling Mt. A writer, poet and learning and development specialist, Ms. Thompson is a versatile communicator and facilitator with a rare ability to challenge and entertain professional and artistic audiences. With over 30 years of experience as a learning and development specialist Nairobi’s craft began with management and training design for senior leadership, mentoring and coaching. Way back in 2011, during the middle of the London Riots over the police killing of Mark Duggan, Ms. Thompson's former husband Rudy Ebanks spoke with us about the first version of Almost British. After being prohibited from speaking about or promoting her book, her husband picked up the mantle and spoke on a number of platforms about the terrorism Ms. Thompson experienced working for British Prison Service. After more than a decade, Ms. Thompson changed her name, divorced Mr. Ebanks, and re-published Almost British (Re-Visited) to accurately document the years of White Supremacist abuse she endured on the job. The C.O.W.S. (Context of White Supremacy) Radio Program welcomes Ben Green. We're at the cusp of finishing Bill Russell's astounding autobiography, Second Wind: The Memoirs of an Opinionated Man. Russell is an amazing representation of attempted counter-racism, and his book is chock full of basketball history. He spends a substantial amount of time discussing Abe Saperstein and the Harlem Globetrotters. Russell rejected a job offer to suit up for the "clown princes of basketball" and indicted the White owner of the ball club as a Racist/White Supremacist. In fact, Russell mentions Saperstein by name when he enumerates his reasons for rejecting the basketball Hall of Fame. Gus T. was ignorant about all of this. #StillLearning Low and behold, Mr. Green penned a whole book detailing the history of Mr. Saperstein and his Racist management of the world famous Harlem Globetrotters. This book covers most of the 20th century, the "great migration" of black residents from the southern US to other regions, and the history and evolution of basketball under the domination of Racist man. We are mandated to discuss why their theme song is "Sweet Georgia Brown" - which is an ode to a black whore. Mr. Green disclosed that some of his White family members are "hardcore racists" who told Racist Jokes. When asked if he could share a Racist Joke, he instead disclosed that his father was present for the 1922 lynching of Arthur Young. The C.O.W.S. (Context of White Supremacy) Radio Program welcomes Kevin Hazzard. A journalist, TV writer, and former paramedic, Hazzard worked as an EMT on mean streets and crack dens of Atlanta, Georgia. He wrote about this experience in his memoir, A Thousand Naked Strangers. We’ll discuss his more recent offering, American Sirens: The Incredible Story Of the Black Men Who Became America’s First Paramedics. This book focuses on the mean streets of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - with a splash of Baltimore, Maryland. We hear about the genesis of the EMT and paramedic profession. Hazzard documents the upheaval of the 1960’s which included painfully slow efforts to improve ambulance care. A collection of black males were recruited to Pittsburgh’s Freedom House to begin intense training to drastically improve the quality of care patients receive during a medical emergency before they reach the hospital. These black males endured all of the typical humiliations, deprivations and White Supremacists abuse, but they were committed to healing the black residents of Pittsburgh's Hill District. Lavel Davis, Devin Chandler and D’Sean Perry were members of the Cavalier football team, and were involved in a class field trip when alleged shooter Christopher Darnell Jones Jr. fatally shot the young scholars and wounded other passengers. This happened the same day four University of Idaho students were found dead. The Idaho crime investigation remains active. We also hear about a new report that details how black people are less likely to receive CPR if they endure cardiac arrest in public. This week marked an important milestone as 8 billion people now occupy the planet. Whites spoke with great consternation about the threat of a rapidly growing population of black people in Nigeria specifically, and the continent of Africa in total. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. Over the years, Gus has grown increasingly bold declaring: White People Do Not Care About Children. The Catholic Church, The Boy Scouts of America, USA Gymnastics, Rockstar Cheer, Jimmy Savile, Jerry Sandusky and a myriad of other White people and White dominated institutions have made this irrefutable. One other important component of White disregard for minors endless is the ceaseless abuse of children in the workplace. The federal government accused Packers Sanitation Services, Inc. of using dozens of children (some as young as 13-years-old) to carry out dangerous assignments in slaughterhouses. Apparently the "yougins" were given the "graveyard" shift to complete their assignments, and NBC reports that some of these children worked 6 to 7 days per week. "School records showed that one 14-year-old, who worked at the Grand Island facility from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. five to six days a week, from December 2021 to this past April, fell asleep in class and missed school after suffering injuries from chemical burns," reports NBC.
