    The C.O.W.S. Neutralizing Workplace Racism 03/29/18 Mar 29, 2018
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly caucus on neutralizing Workplace Racism. This broadcast is uniquely engineered to bolster non-white people's problem-solving ability and refine how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while at work. Any listeners who've figured out the best strategy to minimize conflicts with White and/or non-white co-workers, avoid from demotions, write-ups, terminations or other forms of violence we experience in Racist work environments should be first to call in with details. We always value hearing the viewpoint of "black entrepreneurs;" please, share with us how being "self employed" improves your labor experience. We'll also re-visit what stops us from implementing our counter-racist codification on the job. More often than not, failure to apply codification leads to easily avoidable trouble. Gus recommends that Victims of Racism write down critical workplace incidents. Documenting your thoughts and workplace occurrences is more dependable than memory, and the act of writing can organize your thinking. We'll also ask that non-white listeners share significant portions of the policy and procedure from your current place of employment. #AntiBlackness INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#

The C.O.W.S. w/ Dr. Robert Jensen: Austin Bomber Mark Anthony Conditt Mar 28, 2018
    Show notes

Dr. Robert Jensen returns to The Context of White Supremacy. A Suspected Racist and the author of The Heart of Whiteness, Dr. Jensen is a professor at the University of Texas Austin. Last week, suspected "White Identity Extremist" Mark Anthony Conditt allegedly self-terminated during a standoff with enforcement officials. Conditt is suspected of orchestrating a terrorist campaign in the town of Austin. A series of package bombs were delivered throughout the region, killing two black males and severely injuring four others. We'll ask Dr. Jensen if this surge of flagrant White violence will be stoked and expanded during the Trump presidency. We'll also inquire about the University's response to the bombings, and why this event seems to have received considerably less coverage than other recent violent outbursts like the Parkland school shooting or the #MeToo crusade. #WhiteIdentityExtremism INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#

    The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 03/24/18 Mar 24, 2018
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We'll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We'll examine news reports from the past seven days and - hopefully - promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS After weeks of package bombs, niggardly media coverage, and two black males killed, the suspected Austin, Texas bomber who evaded enforcement officials and terrorized a town is reportedly deceased. Mark Anthony Conditt, a 24-year-old White Man, allegedly blew himself up during a confrontation with enforcement officials. Conditt's motives for the homicidal attacks have not been officially identified, although the suspected White Identity Extremist reportedly authored a confession. Numerous news outlets and enforcement officials have declined to identify Conduit as a terrorist; some have gone to great length to explain their word choice. South of the equator in Brazil, the assassination of Marielle Franco remains another unsolved act of White Terrorism. Many believe Franco's outspoken critique of police cruelty and Racism lead to her murder. Speaking of Race Soldiers, Samuel DuBose's killer, Ohio officer Ray Tensing, received more than $300,000 from the University of Cincinnati. Tensing was compensated for backpay and legal fees for the lawful execution of DuBose. #KillingBlackPeoplePays INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#

    The C.O.W.S. THE HATE U GIVE Part 3 Mar 23, 2018
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 3rd study session on Angie Thomas's bestselling young adult novel, The Hate U Give. Authored in response to the 2009 police killing of Oscar Grant, Thomas's work "debuted at the top of The New York Times's Young Adult best-seller list, and has drawn ecstatic praise from critics, librarians, book sellers and prominent young-adult novelists," says The Times's Alexandra Alter. The international acclaim for the book is so robust, the novel is being converted to a major motion picture starring The Hunger Games's Amandla Stenberg. Last week's session follows the aftermath of the police killing of Starr's friend Khalil. The disastrous state of black mental health was on display as Starr struggled to sleep and dreamed about her numerous dead friends. The plight of black dysfunction and death is juxtaposed to Starr's academic life, which is brimming with perky White kids. In addition to a White boyfriend, Starr reveals she has a crush on one of her White female's "perfect" hair. Briefly, Starr contrasts the paleness of her White lover with the melanin deficiency of the officer who killer her friend. Gus asks listeners to think about the degree to which Racist Soldiers influenced the words on the pages of this text. #AntiBlackness INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#

The Context of White Supremacy hosts our Thursday weekly gathering on neutralizing Workplace Racism. This broadcast is especially constructed to improve non-white people's problem-solving ability and refine how black people think, speak, act and manage emotions while at work. We always appreciate hearing the views of "black entrepreneurs;" please, share with us how being "self employed" improves your labor experience. We'll also re-visit what stops us from practicing our individual counter-racist codification on the job. More often than not, failure to apply codification leads to easily avoidable problems. #ANTIBLACKNESS Austin, Texas typically attracts international attention during this time of year for their renown SXSW festival, which invites titans of the tech industry to the "Lone Star State's" most "progressive" city. But this year, three package bombs have killed two black people and seriously injured a "hispanic" female in Austin during the first two weeks of the March. Police suspect the crimes are related and might be racially motivated. Speaking of blacks being targeted, Congresswoman Maxine Waters was explicitly maligned by President Donald Trump this week. The commander in chief charged that Waters is intellectually inferior - an accusation aimed against black people by generations of Whites. In Connecticut, Brianna Brochu, a White teen, received judicial lenience for her 2017 campaign of terrorism against her former University of Hartford black roommate. And speaking of dangerous White Women, White Identity Extremist Dylann Storm Roof's sister was arrested for toting a firearm on school property. Morgan Roof is charged with bringing narcotics and weapons to school. #WhiteGirlsDoItBetter INVEST in The COWS - http:// paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#

    The C.O.W.S. THE HATE U GIVE Part 2 Mar 16, 2018
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the second study session on Angie Thomas's critically acclaimed young adult novel, The Hate U Give. Penned in response to the 2009 police slaughter of Oscar Grant, Thomas's work "debuted at the top of The New York Times's Young Adult best-seller list, and has drawn ecstatic praise from critics, librarians, book sellers and prominent young-adult novelists," says The Times's Alexandra Alter. The book received such immense admiration, it's being transformed to a major motion picture starring The Hunger Games's Amandla Stenberg. The first week's session described Starr, a scholarly black teen and the main character of the book. Starr and her black friends sneak into a party with drugs, alcohol, drinking and profanity. After watching gun shots and brawls at the party, Starr and her friend are stopped by an enforcement official. A conflict ensues and the White officer kills Starr's black male companion, Khalil. Readers are informed that Starr has already lost a childhood friend to gun violence. The violence, narcotics, and expletives made Gus question whether this book is the typical "young adult" offering from adolescent minds. #AntiBlackness INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#

The C.O.W.S. w/ Dr. Martin Kevorkian: Black Mirror, Matt Damon and Racism Mar 14, 2018
    Show notes

The Context of White Supremacy welcomes the return of Dr. Martin Kevorkian. A professor of English at the University of Texas Austin, Dr. Kevorkian wrote Color Monitors: The Blackface of Technology in America. The book investigates White Supremacy in cinema and suggests that non-white people are often symbolically depicted as robots and other non-human entities in White films and narratives. He's visited The C.O.W.S. numerous times over the years to discuss an array of films. This time we'll briefly revisit Netflix's Black Mirror. This sci-fi anthology, which began as a British television series, has become a global critics choice. The fourth season was recently released, and the six episodes reinforce many of the Racist themes we previously discussed with Dr. Kevorkian. We'll pay acute attention to the depiction of black males throughout the series. We'll also discuss Matt Damon's two most recent projects, Downsizing and Suburbicon. The former tackles overpopulation and environmental destruction, by imagining technology that would allow humans to be shrank to mere inches. Suburbicon is a Coen brother film that's eerily similar to their 1997 smash hit Fargo. While a neighborhood of White Terrorists assaults the lone black family to "integrate" their area, Matt Damon and a cadre of gangsters, including his Damon's sister-in-law, Julianne Moore, bungle a conspiracy to kill his wife and defraud the insurance company. The racial strife helps conceal Damon's treachery. These strangely comparable films represent bedraggled White men, who are desperate, dangerous. #AntiBlackness INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#

The C.O.W.S. Cheryle Moses: "Come Meet A Black Person" Mar 11, 2018
    Show notes

Cheryle Moses visits The Context of White Supremacy. The founder of Urban MediaMakers, a group for filmmakers and content producers, Moses garnered sizable attention with her "Come Meet A Black Person" campaign. She reportedly concludes that "many white people want to begin to cultivate relationships with black people but don't know how." The "Meet a Black Person" event is uniquely designed to give "well-meaning" Whites the chance to make the acquaintance of an unfamiliar black person. Moses cites research that the vast majority of Whites do not have black friends. Her reasoning suggests that Racism/White Supremacy is the product of Whites being unfamiliar with black people. The history of White terrorism would suggest otherwise. #AntiBlackness INVEST in The COWS - http://paypal.me/GusTRenegade CALL IN NUMBER: 641.715.3640 CODE 564943#
