The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. President Joe Biden duped a number of non-white people and further refined the System of White Supremacy by declaring "Juneteenth" a federal holiday - what ever that means. Numerous business are marking/mocking the occasion with commemorations, hashtags and other tacky acknowledgements. Some companies are even offering paid time off. All this coincides with the ongoing transition to back to life without Covid-19. Numerous work environments continue to struggle with policy and procedure to keep employees and patrons safe. With many regions dropping mask requirements and other restrictions, many employers have been given wide latitude to enforce their own policies for workplace safety. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 2nd study session on Randall Sullivan's LAbyrinth : A Detective Investigates the Murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B. I. G. , the Implications of Death Row Records' Suge Knight, and the Origins of the Los Angeles Police Scandal. Sullivan is an actor, journalist, producer, screenwriter, and author who's hosted a television program on Oprah Winfrey's network and written reports for The Washington Post and Rolling Stone. And, he's a White man. Way back when The C.O.W.S. was in middle of reading Jeffrey Toobin's The Run of His Life, Gus said that a master class on the Simpson trial would examine that case in context with the beating of Rodney King and the subsequent trial and rioting, the LAPD Rampart scandal, and the assassinations of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. The book club just concluded Geronimo Pratt's biography, which examines how the very same LAPD and Los Angeles district attorney's office conspired to keep an innocent black male caged for 25 years - where he could have easily been killed. Importantly, the former Black Panther and COINTELPRO victim Pratt was Shakur's godparent. Last week, Sullivan made it clear: O.J. Simpson is a "murder." Sullivan described the mid 1990's as a time when White LAPD officers were bitter about "Affirmative Action" hiring policies, black officers who thought O.J. Simpson was innocent, and being the target of lingering resentment from the 1992 riots. He also stated that White officers feared being hauled into court and interrogated by Johnnie Cochran. He details the 1997 killing of Kevin Gaines, a black LAPD officer. The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Joseph D. Feaster Jr. With nearly a half century of law practice, Mr. Feaster is currently the court-appointed Receiver for Roxbury Comprehensive Community Health Center. Feaster is also President of Feaster Enterprises, a strategic planning, organizational development, and community outreach consulting firm. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Feaster is an attempted father. He considers it his cosmic assignment to address the issue of mental health with black parents. Tragically, his son committed suicide before the age of 30. We'll discuss tips for being mindful about changes in mood or signs of depression in young people. The Covid-19 shutdown has wreaked havoc around the world, and children's academic schedules, daily routines, and general expectations have been decimated for more than a year. Additionally, black boys and girls have been deluged with images of black victims of terrorism. Nathaniel Veltman is alleged to have targeted the family of five because they are Muslim (not White). Below the border in Michigan, an asian male is charged with shooting a 6-year-old black child who attempted to retrieve a bicycle. The shooter was released on $10,000 bond. Mastercard announced $1.3 billion pledge to improve Covid-19 vaccination rates in Africa. Samuel Cassidy, the alleged killer, is reported to have worked for the VTA for nearly 10 years. This week, it was revealed that Cassidy has a documented history of insubordination and conflict. How many black workers - especially black males - are allowed to remain employed while building a reputation as troublesome and non-compliant? Coincidentally, numerous reports indicate that even with the sizable number of folks who've worked from home over the past 17 months, there's still been a rise in the workplace harassment. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS Whites in the U.S. enjoyed a day of rest for the Memorial Day holiday, and then got extra festive as sporting events - terrorizing professional basketball players in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Los Angeles. The world's second ranked women's tennis player, Naomi Osaka, withdrew from the French Open to shield her mental health and take space from the mostly White journalist covering the event. Whites continue to direct a great deal of time and energy to the Tulsa massacre of 100 years ago. Gus frequently points out that there have been at least 260 terrorist events similar to Tulsa. Former President Barack Obama demonstrated why Gus emphasize caution with the use of metaphors when he likened White support of former President Trump to black people cheering for the acquittal of O.J. Simpson. Obama is alleged to have said that both groups know Trump and Orenthal James are guilty, but seeing them triumph "feels good." For the record, Gus T. is pretty certain Simpson is innocent of the 1994 murders, but "The Juice" being free never made me happy. Coincidentally, Simpson lawyer F. The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. While professional athletes don't have a work environment similar to most other Victims of Racism, they're definitely not immune from White savagery. Japanese tennis sensation Naomi Osaka excused herself from the Women's French Open after declining media interviews during the tournament. White tennis officials threatened to administer punitive actions against Osaka if she remained mum. Across the globe, the NBA playoffs are in full swing, and uncouth White spectators have been a major problem. From Boston to Philadelphia, fans have thrown objects and screamed Racist obscenities at black players. Thankfully, all of the players have maintained their composure and or been immediately restrained. The C.O.W.S. Last Man Standing: The Tragedy and Triumph of Geronimo Pratt Part 14 (Conclusion) Jun 03, 2021

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 14th and final study session on Jack Olsen's Last Man Standing: The Tragedy and Triumph of Geronimo Pratt. Olsen is a White man, and a prolific author. He wrote for Sport Illustrated during the turbulent 1960's, and penned a celebrated series examining black athletes and Racism. The magazine also credits Olsen with writing one of the best biographies on boxing icon and attempted counter-racist Muhammad Ali. Last week, Cochran thrashed Julius Butler on the stand during the 1996 hearing. The Victim of White Supremacy and FBI/LAPD informant started off polished and professorial, but got flustered and became foul-mouthed after Cochran's questioning. Butler provided one answer that resulted in even Judge Dickey wondering if the prosecution had provided specific answers they wanted the witness to repeat. Hanlon, conversely struggled questioning Judge Richard Kalustian. While Cochran allegedly made the entire court room his stage, Hanlon looked flustered and incompetent. White Jesus's birthday provides the setting for this courtroom drama. As we conclude the text this week, we again are reminded of Orenthal James Simpson and the widespread White disgust for him and the attorneys responsible for his acquittal. Hours before this broadcast aired live, it was reported that F. Lee Bailey died at the age of 87.
