    The Brown Liquor Report

THE BROWN LIQUOR REPORT was birthed at the intersection of friends reuniting over heated and humorous discussion about politics and pop culture, chicken and liquor. It has quickly evolved from just an innovative way to catch up and share thoughts on hot topics, to a hot weekly podcast with an ever-growing following. It has emerged as a unique voice for Generation Xers who find themselves straddling ratchet and responsibility. It is the podcast for those who want to learn more about social justice, pop culture, and politics while enjoying the best 90’s hip hop beats and a pour of their favorite vice, free of judgment.

To quote O.T. Genasis: "Errybody Mad." Stick with us as we hold your hand through all this foolishness and much more, this week on the Brown Liquor Report. #DontStopListenListen

    Ep. 137 - "2019 Carl Winslow" is a Fraud Feb 26, 2019
    Show notes

Greetings and salutations, friends, lovers and bammas alike. This week we, the crew discussed how marginalized folks are never seen as "perfect plaintiffs" in the court of public opinion. From how many of us automatically trust the word of Chicago PD's "2019 Carl Winslow" in the Jussie Smollett fiasco; to Marsha Johnson to people that don't seem to fit the mold of "victim" like Terry Crews: folks at the fringes never seem to have the public on their side in court. Elsewhere, glitches in the matrix have revealed themselves as we explain why your political timeline has become a vacuous hellscape. SPOILER ALERT: it's racism. All this and more, this week on The Brown Liquor Report. #DontStopListenListen
