Stay ConnectedThe Bridgerton Bros is a podcast from comedian Kevin McCaffrey and writer Jon Daly, best friends who bring you the funniest, fanciest, drunkest show about the most watched Netflix show of all-time.
Kevin & Jon also do the Sex and the City podcast, “Sex and the Cidiots.”
Lindsay Lohan is back with a Netflix Christmas movie, and Kevin and Jon were hungover after celebrating Friend Christmas this weekend, so we have a seasonal bonus episode for y'all, and if you drink every time you see a Christmas movie cliché, you'll black out 'til actual Xmas. It's Overboard-meets-It's A Wonderful Life with Lindsay Lohan and Chord Overstreet, and they're joined by a Pee Wee Herman-lookin' influencer character, an obvious real Santa Claus that no one seems to notice, and a ton of super fake snow. Happy holidays, and give yourself the gift of joining us at patreon.com/kevinandjon where we're doing bonus movies and shows all the time!
The year was 2004, and a group of ladies on Wisteria Lane brought a bunch of wacky drama that turned into the biggest pop culture phemonenon of the year: Desperate Housewives. Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, Nicollette Sheridan and a series of dudes including a hot gardener and — according to Jon — a slightly less hot plumber have given the fellas behind Sex and The Cidiots & The Bridgerton Bros a new project to binge.
Kevin and Jon will be taking on season 1 (at least) over on the Patreon while we wait for the return of And Just Like That & Bridgerton, and if you'd like to join us for the ride, head over to patreon.com/kevinandjon.
Dearest Gentlelisteners, as you know, Shondaland is always expanding its borders, and it seems a Bridgerton spinoff will now be delivered unto us…sometime in 2023. Kevin and Jon hop on the mics to sum up what we currently know about the series that was just announced, and to say yes, we will be podcasting about it right here on the Bridgerton Bros feed. Rate and review if you haven't, and mark your calendars for this release date that has not been actually announced by anybody!

Back in 2001, a time travel romcom starring Meg Ryan and a young Hugh Jackman came into our lives, and far in the future, Kevin and Jon talk about it. Hugh Jackman plays Leopold, Duke of Albany, a man out of time and reason enough for us to make this connection with our Bridgerton Bros audience. Come for Hugh's actually great, Golden Globe nominated performance, stay for Sleepy Meg Ryan, Wacky Liev Schreiber and a whole bunch of other surprising, fun cameos. Thanks to Patreon supporter Lisa for the request! Remember: if you join at the soulmate level, or pledge a full year of support at any level, you get to request a podcast on ANYTHING that Kevin and Jon will do. Join the fun on patreon.com/kevinandjon!
There's a new, popular, romantic, old-timey British movie on Netflix, so Kevin and Jon figured it was a good time to hop on the Bridgerton Bros feed for an in-between-seasons episode. We're doing the modernized (VERY modernized) Persuasion, a story by Jane Austen. Dakota Johnson stars and breaks the fourth wall, and Jon develops a crush on one of the worst sisters in history in this Cinderella-meets-Fleabag-meets-Bridgerton-meets-Instagram Influencer update on an old classic. We've missed you, Bridgerbuddies!

We've got Bridgerton Book Club Experts The Basic Moms (Julie McNulty & Claire Gregory) back again to tell us everything about Bridgerton book 2, "The Viscount Who Loved Me," and how it differed from the Netflix series. The #1 difference? Oh, just the plot. NBD. They also tell us about the new characters, their reaction to the shakeup of Colin and Pen going next, and what the biggest controversy of the season was for fans of the book. Follow The Basic Moms on Instagram @the.basic.moms, and the Facebook Group: Mom Chat by The Basic Moms.
Penlin? Colinope? What do we call them? It seems like this latest Bridgerton announcement is not only saying season 3 will be about Colin and Penelope, but about them…together? Oh boy. We parse the latest Whistledown and talk about our feelings and thoughts (and some of yours!) for the now announced season three of Bridgerton in a lil' mini episode for y'all. We've missed you already! And great news: we'll be back next week to talk about the differences between the books and season two with a couple fun guests, so don't you dare unsubscribe!

Listeners of the 'Ton, we're bringing all our stories to a rousing climax in the season 2 finale! (Plot recap begins at 6:32) We're talking about Kate's smol coma, Anthony's growth from angry young man to magnanimous head of the family, the Sharma sisters' public rebrand, world's worst detective Eloise finally getting to the heart of who Whistledown is, and the Featherington's grift reaching its inevitable end. And, thank God…there are some sexy times.
It's such a special day, Jon traveled to NYC to broadcast in person from Kevin's studio. It's the end of one hell of a social season, and we can't wait to see you for the next one!

Twitter: @brosbridgertonSo, the wedding was #awkward, and now no one is talking to the Bridgertons or the Sharmas on their promenade, which is a fate worse than death. The families try to look united in public, put a ball together, and FINALLY, things get sexy…at least until a horse brings us another problem. The Queen picks the wrong Whistledown, Eloise does everything wrong at every step once again, and Penelope writes her most painful gossip yet.

Twitter: @brosbridgertonIt's wedding day, so Anthony and the Sharma sisters really, REALLY have to start figuring out what's going on here. Our Queen is absolutely on one, snorting powder and demanding peacocks, while Edwina puts everything together at the most inconvenient of times. Benny is drunk, Lady Danbury is on her heels for the first time, the Featheringtons are scamming themselves horny, and (spoiler)…faces ACTUALLY touch. Go off, Wacky King!
