318: What are you Tolerating in Your Business? May 17, 2018
    Show notes

Ask yourself this: What are you tolerating?

On the surface, everything can look amazing. But dig a little deeper and that's where all the messiness is. When you ask yourself what you are tolerating, you give yourself room to pause and reflect. Where are you settling? What's frustrating for you? What can't you believe you're still putting up with?

Shelli Warren joins Natalie to discuss some of the things they have noticed people tolerating in their experiences, from office spaces to clients, from creating band-aids and workarounds to mediocre team members. Natalie also shares how she is putting this question into action in her business. This is an issue not just applicable to your business, but also your personal life, so Shelli and Natalie have some great strategies to help you make progress!

What are the two things you are going to stop tolerating today?

317: [On Air Coaching] How to Feel Worthy to Charge with Danni Hall May 10, 2018
    Show notes

Have you ever had trouble charging for your services? Have you had to struggle with raising your prices? Especially in the helping professions, the exchange of money can be awkward and uncomfortable.

Join me as I coach Danni Hall, a member of the BizChix Coop who just opened a new business 4 months ago. Danni doesn't view her business as rendering a service, but solving a problem, which is why she was struggling with charging for her services. We talk through how she can overcome her deep-seated inner beliefs that her time is not worth anything, and I help her change her mindset. Danni and I role-play different scenarios to help her come up with scripts, checklists and a system to deal with her money mindset issues.

314: Stepping into her Publicity Superpower with Amanda Berlin Apr 19, 2018
    Show notes

Amanda Berlin, my guest on this episode and Featured Speaker at BizChix Live 2018, describes Public Relations (PR) as earned media - you can't pay for it, but everyone is worth the opportunity.

PR is important to every business but a lot of us haven't tapped into the full possibilities yet. Amanda reveals that it's really about sharing your story of what's unique about you, that your audience needs to know in order to identify and want to work with you. Remember, anyone at any stage of business is ready for media.

Also find out why Amanda loves local media, and how you can capitalize on interviews, events and print media to drive word-of-mouth publicity, interactions, and credibility!
