Frasca and Lang took their smarts in the areas of computer science, problem-solving, and monetary systems (namely The Federal Reserve) and created NDAU. What it’s not is a stablecoin or a currency with unfettered volatility. Instead, NDAU is a currency that can grow but is also designed to mitigate some volatility by having a monetary policy built right in. Rather than being pegged to a dollar or anything else, it’s more so using blockchain to create its own asset class. Its creators believe that perhaps, in a world where we’ve lost so much faith in institutions, staking NDAU could help boost accountability.
