    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 055: Terrance Dicks Apr 03, 2014
    Show notes

More from Who's Round, Toby Hadoke's Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to get an anecdote about every single episode of Doctor Who to date. In this instalment, Toby continues his chat with Russell T Davies.

The cat is out of the bag - the day after The Web of Fear was released on iTunes, Toby had Russell T Davies for tea and grilled him for over six hours. This is part two of an extensive and exclusive chat with the man behind the resurrection of the series.

Nominated charity: The Terrence Higgins Trust

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 054: Russell T Davies Part 2 Apr 02, 2014
    Show notes

More from Who's Round, Toby Hadoke's Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to get an anecdote about every single episode of Doctor Who to date. In this instalment, Toby goes live on stage with a legend.

A true legend of Doctor Who merits the first and only 'live' Who's Round, recorded in front of an audience. We find out a bit more about the man himself than in most interviews but still have time to fit in praise for Peter Moffatt, a discussion on the fundamental nature of the Doctor, and the horror of tight deadlines.

    Nominated charity: Save the Children

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 053: Margot Hayhoe Apr 01, 2014
    Show notes

More from Who's Round, Toby Hadoke's Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to get an anecdote about every single episode of Doctor Who to date. In this instalment, Toby spans many generations.

Another behind-the-scenes view from a fabulous lady with a wealth of memories and insight spanning the first five Doctors. From playing the lead villain in a Hartnell story (albeit crouched down behind a desk) to manipulating Triffids, there's nothing this lady hasn't done in the name of TV drama.

    Nominated charity: Princess Alice Hospice

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 052: Sue Upton Part 2 Mar 15, 2014
    Show notes

More from Who's Round, Toby Hadoke's Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to get an anecdote about every single episode of Doctor Who to date. In this instalment, Toby continues his chat with Sue Upton.

The secret is out with this one - it's the second part of a fascinating chat with PA Sue Upton (see podcast 49), who worked on a number of episodes between 1969 and 1983. Sue has never spoken about her time on the show before and has acute memories of the diverse stories she was with from the first to the last day of production.

    Nominated charity: The Stroke Association

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 051: Hamish Wilson Mar 14, 2014
    Show notes

More from Who's Round, Toby Hadoke's Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to get an anecdote about every single episode of Doctor Who to date. In this instalment, Toby meets a new face.

The first full length Who's Round with a companion of the Doctor... but this is Doctor Who of course, so nothing is quite as it seems! We talk Disney, radio drama and Equity politics, as well as - of course - time, space and all that malarkey.

    Nominated charity: RNLI

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 050: Russell T Davies Part 1 Mar 13, 2014
    Show notes

More from Who's Round, Toby Hadoke's Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to get an anecdote about every single episode of Doctor Who to date. In this instalment, Toby makes quite a big dent in his task...

Frankly this guy has so little to do with Doctor Who he is barely worth talking to. It is, though, the only interview he gave about the show in its fiftieth year. The first sentence of this paragraph might also be a joke. Part one of a multi-part interview.

Nominated charity: The Terrence Higgins Trust

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 049: Sue Upton Part 1 Mar 12, 2014
    Show notes

More from Who's Round, Toby Hadoke's Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to get an anecdote about every single episode of Doctor Who to date. In this instalment, Toby begins a long chat taking in multiple Doctors...

This lady, with thirty-six episodes under her belt, barely scratches the surface of her Who association and so this is part one of a feature length interview with someone who has never been interviewed about the show before. With a unique perspective and an association spanning from Pertwee to Davison, there are stories of terrible weather and one-take wonders among many other gems.

    Nominated charity: The Stroke Association

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 048: Roger Limb Mar 11, 2014
    Show notes

More from Who's Round, Toby Hadoke's Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to get an anecdote about every single episode of Doctor Who to date. In this instalment, Toby pops on an LP.

We hit all the right notes as a prolific composer whose tunes tore through many a teenage Who fan's bedroom in place of Kajagoogoo or Showaddywaddy (which the 'normal' kids listened to) discusses electronic music, making a rubber monster scary and - of all things - being an announcer on the BBC World Service.

    Nominated charity: Macmillan Nurses

Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 047: BBC Tech Ops Reunion and Nicola Bryant Mar 10, 2014
    Show notes

More from Who's Round, Toby Hadoke's Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to get an anecdote about every single episode of Doctor Who to date. In this instalment, Toby gatecrashes some parties.

Several interviews for the price of none as Toby gatecrashes a reunion lunch and gets a number of quick anecdotes from various behind the scenes bods before stopping off at a pub to cover something that probably isn't canon (but what the heck: it's a pub and he had his phone on him) and then stopping off at another pub (nice work if you can get it) to grab a quick story or two off of a genuine Doctor Who companion. Hic!

Nominated charities: Medicins Sans Frontieres and Great Ormond Street

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 046: Philip Voss Mar 07, 2014
    Show notes

More from Who's Round, Toby Hadoke's Doctor Who 50th anniversary quest to get an anecdote about every single episode of Doctor Who to date. In this instalment, Toby looks back a full fifty years.

This marvellous actor, typically, had only minimal skirmishes with the Doctor, but he managed to encounter both Sixties Doctors before twice meeting a sticky end. A fascinating chat (over a terrible line, sorry) with a real gentleman who talks in enlightening fashion about transforming from a jobbing actor into one of the country's leading Shakespearian thespians.

    Nominated charity: World Animal Protection
