    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 085: Lynda Bellingham Part 2 Nov 27, 2014
    Show notes

Toby's chat with Lynda Bellingham contained so much fascinating stuff that we have enough for a second edition featuring this much cherished and sadly missed actress.

    Nominated charity: Action on Cancer

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 084: Marcia Wheeler Part 1 Nov 26, 2014
    Show notes

Part one of a conversation with a woman who worked behind the scenes at the BBC at almost every level. Her three Who stories are just the tip of an iceberg of a woman at the very core of the corporation responsible for entertaining the nation these past many decades. Here she recalls combustible actors, doing the casting when a director goes home for the day, and being tricked by the crew into giving them an extra breakfast.

    Nominated charity: The Alzheimer's Society

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 083: Brian Croucher Nov 25, 2014
    Show notes

Quite a noisy background in this one. Apologies, but it's worth it for a bit of a small screen legend who has very unabashed things to say about his time in front of the cameras in pretty much every important series screened on British television in the 70s and 80s. The anecdotes flow as freely as the wine, and the resulting conversation is definitely convivial.

Charity nomination: The Terrence Higgins Trust

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 082: Gillian Martell Nov 24, 2014
    Show notes

This instalment's victim has never been in Doctor Who. So why is she being interviewed? Because her contribution still counts. She's worked with legendary Doctors, producers, directors, and major thespian contributors to the series. So have a listen, whether you're enjoying a glass of wine, enjoying a mild jog, or sitting on a wall.

    Nominated charity: Macmillan Nurses

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 081: Robert Aldous Nov 23, 2014
    Show notes

He was in one episode and he wasn't really present when that episode was being made. But he's in it, on screen - not a voice dubbed on later. How can this be? Find out, and while you're there you'll get some panto tips, Dad's Army dues and Equity negotiations that are equally fascinating.

Nominated charity: The Actors' Benevolent Fund

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 080: Richard Martin Part 1 Nov 22, 2014
    Show notes

He was there at the beginning and has plenty to say about key players at the dawn of Doctor Who. No punches are pulled in this entertaining first part of an interview with the man who helmed some of the key serials of the 1960s, so buckle up for tales of fractured fingers, swearing Sydney and squashed studios.

    Nominated charity: Children in Need

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 079: Dorothy-Rose Gribble Nov 21, 2014
    Show notes

News has just reached us that this grand lady - who at 96 was the oldest person Toby spoke to on his epic quest - passed away recently, so we have brought her forward in the schedule as a tribute. Her tales include the provenance of her rather unusual name, the early days of the Edinburgh fringe, and sprouting an authentic carbuncle for her role in Doctor Who.

Nominated charity: The Actors' Benevolent Fund

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 078: Malcolm Middleton Nov 20, 2014
    Show notes

This gentleman has never before given an interview about Doctor Who. He only worked on one story, but has colourful tales about his illustrious career using artistic flair on screens both big and small and working alongside some of the greatest names in the business. And some cuddly monsters. In Wales.

Nominated charities: British Heart Foundation and Heart Research UK

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 077: Jeremy Bulloch Nov 19, 2014
    Show notes

He's one of the greatest baddies in sci-fi history, but he's actually only ever been a good guy in the Whoniverse. Toby's bounty hunt this time around bags him anecdotes about acting from an early age, the perils of painting and decorating, and not one but two iconic film franchises.

    Nominated charities: Bliss and Tommy's

    Toby Hadoke's Who's Round: 076: Arthur Darvill Part 2 Nov 18, 2014
    Show notes

Now it's time to nobble off another chunk of the Matt Smith era. We've been dying to release this second part of our interview with Doctor Who's Kenny - it's the marvellous Arthur Darvill, aka Rory Williams. By Skype. From Broadway. Don't say we don't sprinkle the star dust.

    Nominated charity: Acorn's Children's Hospice

Fans of Arthur's work might like to check out Big Finish's critically acclaimed production of Frankenstein in which he stars with Nicholas Briggs and Georgia Moffett.
