Now a Certified Biddy Tarot Reader, Grete runs her own Tarot business in Japan and reads the cards confidently for her clients. In Episode 94 of the Biddy Tarot Podcast, Grete shares her journey with the Biddy Tarot Certification Program, learning how to read from the heart, not just the book.

BTP 93: Becoming a Certified Biddy Tarot Reader with Jess Carlson Sep 25, 2017

Show notes

Today, we're speaking with Jess Carlson. Jess is a witch, an intuitive Tarot and Oracle reader, and a spiritual mentor who helps women unlock their inner badass witch goddess through sharing magickal and spiritual practices and tools for everyday life.

I've invited Jess to the Biddy Tarot Podcast today because she recently became a certified Biddy Tarot reader, and I wanted to hear a little bit about her journey.

Jess has actually been reading Tarot professionally for quite a while, but she felt that it was time for her to get certified in reading Tarot. It wasn't necessarily about building up her skills but more about building up her credibility and perhaps even reaffirming that she was on the right path with her Tarot readings.

Jess has some really interesting insights into what made it a good decision for her. In this podcast episode, you'll learn:

Why Jess chose to become certified as a Tarot reader
All about Jess's Tarot business and how she's been able to position herself as a high-quality Tarot reader
How Tarot certification helped Jess's business

BTP92: How to Create Your Own Tarot Spreads Sep 18, 2017

Show notes

Every time we do a Tarot reading, we have a choice.

We can think of a spread to use. Maybe we look into our book and go, "OK, what's a funky little spread I could do?" Or we jump onto Pinterest perhaps and look up Tarot spreads, and think, "Well, which one will I use today?"

Or we can start creating our own spreads. And this is clearly my favourite way, because it allows you to focus on the heart of the question. So today's podcast is all about creating your very own Tarot spreads.

In this podcast episode, you'll learn:

How to 'wow' your Tarot reading clients with customised Tarot spreads
How to connect with the heart of the question
My favourite positions to add to any Tarot reading

Let's get into it!

BTP 91: The Lumina Tarot with Lauren Aletta from Inner Hue Sep 11, 2017

Show notes

Today, we're speaking with Lauren Aletta from Inner Hue. Lauren is the creator of two Tarot decks: the Lumina Tarot and the Connected & Free Alchemist's Oracle.

Now, I am a big fan of modern-looking Tarot decks. I believe that modern decks created by independent artists help bring new people to Tarot – and I'm all about bringing Tarot into the mainstream.

Lauren recently sent me both the Connected & Free oracle deck and the Lumina Tarot. The Connected & Free deck is designed to support you in connecting with your own inner wisdom, soul guidance and natural intuitive abilities to navigate the landscape of life. It has 50 oracle cards held safely together in a cute rustic mandala drenched brown box with the 133pg Guidebook that offers not only each card's meaning but also crystal suggestions for an added energetic boost. Within the 50 cards are also 8 chakra cards to potentially highlight any energetic blocks or expansions are occurring. This is the second edition of the Oracle cards.

The Lumina Tarot is also now on its' second edition – and it melds animal magick, archetypal energy and symbolism together in potent visual imagery that will support you in accessing your own intuitive abilities. It comes with a 185-page guidebook and offers both yin & yang, light & shadow.

I know these decks have been quite popular on Instagram because they're just gorgeous!

Let's get into it.

BTP90: How to Use Significator Cards in Your Tarot Readings Sep 04, 2017

Show notes

On today's episode of the Biddy Tarot Podcast, we're talking about significator cards and how you can start using them in your Tarot readings.

Now, I have to be honest: I do not use significator cards in my readings unless I'm doing maybe the Celtic Cross, where it's actually part of the reading, because I find that the Tarot reading in and of itself gives me enough information. However, I know that for a lot of people who are learning to read Tarot or doing some more work with Tarot, this whole idea of significators certainly comes up at one stage or another. And I know many of you have questions around what they are, how you can use them, how you choose them, who chooses them, and so on.

Today's episode is really about giving you all of that information, so you can play around, have a go with it, and decide if using significator card is right for you.

In this episode, you'll learn:

All about significator cards
Why you'd want to use a significator
How to choose a significator
How to connect the significator in a Tarot reading

BTP89: Visionary Cards with Noa Knafo Aug 28, 2017

Show notes

On today's Biddy Tarot podcast, I am speaking with Ben and Noa Knafo, who are behind the Visionary Card deck, and really, this is just a small, small sample of their amazing intuitive artwork that they create.

Now, Noa is the artist, and Ben is the maker and the doer, getting it out into the world. Noa's art focuses on spirituality and on how the world is right now, but in ways that we cannot necessarily see. Her paintings contain certain energies which allow viewers to experience these realities in similar ways, each in their own personal ways.

Her Visionary Cards are extremely unique. Each card comes with its own description that links to a knowledge hub, where you are invited to not only read further into each meaning, but also to become part of the meaning by adding your own insights.

I'm super excited to talk to Noa today about the process of creating this deck, and her beautiful artwork. Now, let's get into it!
