Let's see how many times Jason called Jared the wrong name this week!

USWNT Get Dos-a-Cero'd, Gio Lost At Forest, New USMNT Kits? Mar 01, 2024

Show notes

It does what it says on the tin. Jason and Jared get into the troubling loss by the USWNT against Mexico in the W Concacaf Gold Cup and ponder if the future of the program is bleak.

Then we talk about Gio's situation at Forest 39 minutes since he arrived? What the hell, Nuno?

There's a new USMNT kit leak, so we take a look at the looks and give our opinions.

And there's even some talk about MLS's opening weekend and how the Galaxy BLEW IT against Inter Miami. Sergio Busquets is a diver!

Messi and Miami Win MLS Opener, Open Cup In Trouble, MLS Predictions Feb 23, 2024

Show notes

Jason and Jared are back to take stock of Inter Miami's season-opening win over RSL and the two most important Lionel Messi highlights: Dapping up Will Smith at halftime on the way to the locker room and chipping/hurdling an injured RSL player to get off a shot.

Then there's a passionate discussion about Major League Soccer's treatment of the US Open Cup and how money is driving every decision made in the world of soccer in 2024. If you want to play soccer business bingo, get out your cards!

Then the boys do something very stupid and try to predict the MLS season. Jared goes a little homer, Jason bets on a perennial contender.

Dike Goes Down, USMNT Striker Questions, MLS Signings Feb 16, 2024

Show notes

Jared is back and the boys are chopping it up on a number of American soccer stories.

First, Jason and Jared pour some out for Daryl Dike, the unluckiest guy in the game. That leads to a discussion about Tyler Adams and his prognosis, plus how the midfield for the USMNT will work this summer. Then there's a debate about the current pecking order at striker, with Folarin Balogun, Ricardo Pepi, Josh Sargent and Haji Wright all in the mix.

ALSO IN THIS EPISODE: MLS talk with signings coming fast and furious and the story that Miami has to dump salary to get roster compliant.

Gio Makes His Move, Review of American Transfers, Horan Called Us Stupid Feb 02, 2024

Show notes

It finally happened, Gio Reyna made his move. Jason and Jared talk about Gio's decision to play for a relegation-threatened club in England, review his first official club interview with Forest (with audio!), and anaylyze the rest of the Americans who made moves in the January transfer window.

Plus, the boys respond to Lindsay Horan's comments about American soccer fans and get into the horrific Inter Miami performance in Saudi Arabia.
