He was able to watch others who were successful in the business and began buying in the early 2000's. When the bubble burst about a decade later, he was ready to buy deeply distressed homes at big discounts. One of his greatest tips involve speaking with code enforcement to sniff out local offenders. He's an expert in the wholesale space. He's able to do more quality deals by assuming each property under contract will be a fix and flip. He's able to put himself in the buyer's shoes, whether that's an investor or end buying consumer. With very little back in 2006, our Best Ever guest had faith in himself and hustled for a check a little over $5000...his wholesale empire began! He now continues to focus on wholesale deals, but he also organizes meet ups and runs a podcast, hear his inspiring story now!

JF448: How He Started with Nothing and Made 12 Million in Real Estate Part Time Nov 24, 2015

He recently sold a property for six times the amount he bought it for! He's says it wasn't a difficult thing, just a series of wise decisions and being in the right place at the right time. Our Best Ever guest had a 90% LTV for property number one, and now pays cash years later. He looked into certain types of inspections that would give him an edge on negotiating a deal. Being savvy in the development space, he could purchase "unbuildable" lots and make them build-able. $12 million dollars later...he's now looking to liquidate. You have to hear his 40 years of experience in this show!
