Deciding which teams to big on for double gameweek 36 May 05, 2022

FPL General is here to look ahead to double gameweek 36 as we approach the business end of the FPL season. He's got an update on his watchlist, transfer advice and captaincy picks, plus these questions answered:

With the rotation risk ahead of the cup final, should we transfer out our Chelsea assets for other DGW starters?
Hold James? Or move to Dias for double city defence?
Keep or sell Mount?
Are there any Chelsea players you’d include on a free hit this week based on current form?
Should we move Chelsea assets to Man City ones even if it’s for a hit?
Is Mount to Foden worth a hit?
Is KDB the best differential captain this week and is it better to go for Foden or Laporte on a Free Hit?
For those of us that went Dewsbury-Hall in recent weeks, is it worth a -4 to move to Gordon due to security of starts in the upcoming doubles?
Is it worth removing Kulusevski for another mid-price option with better fixtures but less certainty of minutes such as Foden or Maddison?

FPL Friday - time to replace Reece James? Apr 29, 2022

FPL General is here ahead of Saturday's gameweek 35 deadline with some last minute advice to help you push on record a strong end to the FPL season as we enter the closings stages.

Do I sell James for Cancelo?
Replace Reece James with Laporte or Alonso and is Matty Cash a good buy for upcoming fixtures?
Which Chelsea players are most likely to be rotated against Everton? Worth selling Werner and Havertz/Mount for Watkins and Coutinho?
Is Ramsey a good Villa asset to bring in to attack their upcoming fixtures, if you're tight on funds? Him or Dewsbury-Hall as a cheap midfielder?
Who is the better buy for the rest of the season... Foden or Coutinho? Or, hold Havertz and re-evaluate next week with two FT's before the double?
Sell Sterling for Son or go without Spurs players for the run-in?
Is a triple up on Arsenal attackers a viable option with the players being Saka, Odegaard and Nketiah?

The FPL General picks up the pieces after a big double gameweek and looks ahead to another double in GW29 while also keeping an eye on the upcoming GW30 where a number of teams do not play. We've also got a watchlist update, captaincy advice, plus answers for these questions:

Who are the best assets from teams that play twice in DGW29 and don’t blank in BGW30?
Stuck with Son but want Kane. Is a Son and Jimenez to Kulusevski and Kane for a -4 worthwhile?
Would you sell Coutinho for Kulusevski?
Which one Spurs player to pick for the next 2 GWs, Doherty or Kulusevski?
Is it worth selling someone like Digne or Saiss ahead of GW29 for a Spurs defender (probably Doherty) for the extra fixture in 29 even though both Villa & Wolves do both play in 30?
With Spurs & Arsenal doubling in 29, playing in 30 & good fixtures going forward…are ‘big hits’ (-8,-12) justifiable if single game week players with poor fixtures (eg. Villa or teams blanking in 30) are being replaced?
If you owned Reece James, would you hold as he’s due back in GW31? Or sell him on? If so, who for?
