Beller and DVR discuss the Week 9 slate from a DFS perspective. Are Jordan Love and Tyrod Taylor viable cash-game quarterbacks? Is there a particular game to target among the highest totals on the board? Are we back to high-priced running backs on an oddly settled weekend at the position? The guys get into that, and a whole lot more.

Alright, enough messing around. After a rough Week 8, Beller, Vic and Zac are done looking at the entire slate, making a pick for every game before zeroing in on their Five Faves. From now on, it's Five Faves and Five Faves only.
Among this week's Faves we find a consensus pick in Chargers -1.5 at Eagles, a showdown between Vic and Zac in Cardinals -1 at 49ers, and three unders against just one over.

Sooooo, this has been a week in the fantasy football world, huh? No Derrick Henry. No Aaron Rodgers. No Odell Beckham. In some instances, that's going to make it easier to set fantasy lineups. In many, many others, however, it will make it harder. Much, much harder.
Beller, Jake and Funston are here to help you with those decisions on this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Football Podcast. How does Rodgers' absence trickle down to the rest of the Packers offense? Is Taysom Hill an easy fantasy starter right off the bat? Is Jeremy McNichols a starter this week? Is Adrian Peterson? Are both? The guys answer all those questions, and a whole lot more.

DVR begins his 'Never Cincinnati' movement as he and Beller reveal their Week 9 Survivor picks on this episode. Will the Jets ruin more pools this week, or are the Colts a strong option at home Thursday night? Which secondary options should you consider in the weeks ahead, and how much do you trust the Saints with Taysom Hill likely back at quarterback?

OK, so Derrick Henry is likely out for the rest of the season. And Michael Thomas is out for the rest of the season. Oh yeah, and Aaron Rodgers will miss this week's game against the Chiefs, and potentially next week's game against the Seahawks, after testing positive for covid-19. Any other news to cram in here, NFL?
Nando, Chris and Brandon get into all of that, and a whole lot more, on this episode of The Athletic Fantasy Football Podcast.

It's Beat Writer Tuesday on The Athletic Fantasy Football Podcast, with Zach Berman (Eagles) and Zak (Keefer) joining Beller to give us an update on their teams.
Is Boston Scott the man in the Eagles backfield while Miles Sanders is out? Could Jalen Hurts get replaced down the stretch if the Eagles totally fall out of contention? Is there anyone in Indy worth caring about outside of Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman? Our beats answer all those questions, and a whole lot more.
After that, Brandon Funston joins the show to open up the TA Fantasy mailbag with Beller. The guys discuss Adrian Peterson vs. Jeremy McNichols, Terry McLaurin's rest-of-season value, Michael Carter's takeoff, and more.

The Athletic Fantasy Football Podcast's Week 8 WiLoTaWai is here. That's short for Winners, Losers, Takeaways and Waivers. That's right. We're trying to make WiLoTaWai (pronounced Wih-LO-tuh-way) happen. Join us for the ride.
What are we doing about the huge Derrick Henry news that broke on Monday morning? Who won Week 8? Who lost it? Does Zack Moss have a meaningful passing game role? Did we just see some signs of life from Brandon Aiyuk? How good is Michael Carter going to be the rest of the season? Do we have any creeping worries for the Chargers? The guys answer all that, and a whole lot more.

Michael Beller joins Derek VanRiper to take the first look at the Week 9 waiver wire. With the surprise twist in the Philadelphia backfield during the Eagles' win over the Lions on Sunday, is Boston Scott a priority add? Should you chase Carlos Hyde with a possible opening for an increased role in Jacksonville? How much interest should you have in the Jets' pass-catchers on the heels of their upset win over the Bengals? Is Dan Arnold an upgrade for those who have been streaming tight ends this season?

Beller and DVR discuss the Week 8 slate from a DFS perspective. Is there enough value to comfortable build lineups around Derrick Henry? How much of a priority should you place on having at least some exposure to the Colts-Titans matchup? Is Kenneth Gainwell a 'good chalk' building block at $5,000 on DraftKings?

Beller, Zac and Vic are back to tackle the remainder of the Week 8 slate, with one pick apiece for each of the 14 games. Their strongest takes come on Colts -1.5 vs. Titans, Browns -3.5 vs. Steelers, Bills -14 vs. Dolphins, and the scoring bonanza expected in Cowboys/Vikings.
