My Sony A7S II Travel Rig Jan 27, 2016

Show notes

This is a behind-the-scenes look at the travel rig I will be filming the Artist Series of videos with. I've changed up my rig quite a bit for these to minimize setup and create more intimacy in the videos I'm going to make. So no fancy lighting setup with extra bags to haul. I'm going to be renting 2 Sony A7SII camera bodies and I'll be shooting using ambient light only. I'm renting my gear through BorrowLenses - check them out! http://goo.gl/9gmYcK Twitter: http://twitter.com/tedforbes Instagram: http://instagram.com/tedforbes Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/aop.podcast Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/tedforbes Website: http://theartofphotography.tv And get on our mailing list to stay up to date on photography news and the latest episodes: http://theartofphotography.tv/about/mailing-list/ Ted Forbes The Art of Photography 3100 Main St #135 Dallas, Texas 75226 Thanks for watching - if you like this video, remember to share it with your friends! GoPro Hero4 Session :: Footage Grading and Review Jan 14, 2016

Show notes

The GoPro Hero4 Session is a tiny cube that records HD video at 1080p 30fps and 8-megapixel still images. I'm really liking this camera. Its had some negative reviews and people seem to misunderstand how to get the best footage out of this camera. As mentioned in the video - color grading is done in DaVinci Resolve which you can get for free. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve The plugin I used with final cut to reduce the wide angle distortion the GoPro records is the Alex4D Wide Angle Fix - its free as well. http://alex4d.com/7-alex4d-wide-angle-fix-effect Twitter: http://twitter.com/tedforbes Instagram: http://instagram.com/tedforbes Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/aop.podcast Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/tedforbes Website: http://theartofphotography.tv And get on our mailing list to stay up to date on photography news and the latest episodes: http://theartofphotography.tv/about/mailing-list/ Ted Forbes The Art of Photography 3100 Main St #135 Dallas, Texas 75226 Thanks for watching - if you like this video, remember to share it with your friends! Kodak Super 8 :: The Digital Analog Hybrid Camera Jan 06, 2016

Show notes

This week, Kodak announced the new Kodak Super 8 camera to be released in the Fall of 2016. This is a particularly interesting announcement considering the decline of Super 8 in film production over the years. But more importantly will be the process behind the camera. It has digital features such as a 3.5 inch display and outputs for compatibility with other equipment. But it captures on Super 8 cartridge film. When you purchase the film, you will be pre-paying the processing as well. Shoot the film, send it to Kodak and they will not only process, but scan the film for a digital download of your footage as well. http://kodak.com/ek/us/en/Consumer/Products/Super8/default.htm Twitter: http://twitter.com/tedforbes Instagram: http://instagram.com/tedforbes Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/aop.podcast Pinterest: http://pinterest.com/tedforbes Website: http://theartofphotography.tv And get on our mailing list to stay up to date on photography news and the latest episodes: http://theartofphotography.tv/about/mailing-list/ Ted Forbes The Art of Photography 3100 Main St #135 Dallas, Texas 75226 Thanks for watching - if you like this video, remember to share it with your friends!
