Chris L McKenna on Leaving GH, Life After Brennan & What Comes Next Sep 18, 2026

Show notes

Chris L McKenna joins Steve and Bradford for a candid, funny and surprisingly uplifting conversation about saying goodbye to Brennan on General Hospital—and looking ahead to what's next.

Chris takes us behind the scenes of filming Brennan's death, including two days in the Metro Court pool and the incredible makeup work that went into creating his very dead-looking alter ego. He also talks about finishing the job after learning his GH run was ending, navigating a career transition as a new father, and how his perspective on the ups and downs of acting has changed over the years.

Then the conversation turns to the future: the script Chris has sold, the projects he's developing, his passion for bringing author Thomas Tessier's work to the screen, and why today's actors have more opportunities than ever to create their own work instead of simply waiting for the next audition.

Plus, Steve discovers he has actually watched Chris die on a soap before—and Bradford introduces a phrase we may all regret: Stay Sticky.

Jason Is Covering for Anna — But Does He Trust Britt? Sep 13, 2026

Show notes

Jason is covering for Anna — but what does that mean for Britt?

Steve takes us behind the scenes of Jason, Britt and Anna's explosive confrontation on General Hospital. We talk about why Jason cleaned up the evidence after Anna fired the gun, what he was really trying to protect Anna from, and the moment Britt said something that made Jason wonder if she's been completely honest with him.

Steve also gets into what it was like filming those intense scenes with Finola Hughes and Wes Ramsey, and how actors approach a scene when an entire storyline has been building toward one big moment.

Plus, we finally reveal the identity of the "mystery actor" Steve mentioned last week — after that innocent comment created a whole lot more GH speculation than we expected.

Why Does Ghost Peter Want Them DEAD?! Aug 30, 2026

Show notes

Ghost Peter wants Anna to kill Britt and Jason?! But WHY? Is this really Peter talking—or is Anna's subconscious revealing something much darker about Faison, Britt, and everything she's been through?

Steve and Bradford dig into what could really be going on with Anna, plus Jason and Britt's relationship and why decades of General Hospital history can make certain scenes hit so much harder.

Steve also talks about stepping back into scenes with Maurice Benard and Rick Hearst—and why that kind of shared history between actors and characters is almost impossible to recreate.
