Edge of Extinction Week 12 Recap May 09, 2019

Show notes

"I'm a train, choo choo!" There's a train leaving this episode and headed to the Survivor finale, and the engineer just padded out their resume quite nicely. We love when a castaway throws their game into high gear to beat the odds. Every now and again we get that rare player that seems to draw energy from the sheer excitement and force of will to play the game at a level beyond all their competitors. While it's been far from a perfect game, it's been a thrill to watch as we head for the final destination. What are you looking forward to at the finale? Who do you think is playing the best and who are you cheering for to win? Who will return from Extinction Island and what's their best angle to make it to the final three? What's your final six order?

Here is where it stands as we head into the Finale. Vata: Devens, Gavin, Julie, Lauren, and Victoria Edge of Extinction: Reem, Chris, Aubry, Joe, Eric, Julia, David, Kelley, Wardog, Ron, and Aurora

It is an iconic Survivor moment, but the consensus here is clear. You don't win the family visit. It's just not worth it, especially if you have a decent social game. The stakes are simply too high. This next week appears to be packed with action with a Reward Challenge, a Return from Edge of Extinction Challenge, and an Immunity Challenge too. We can't wait!
