    South Pacific Episode 6 Oct 20, 2011
    Show notes

The back and forth struggle between what is shaping up to be one of the most balanced pair of tribes in Survivor history continues. Do you think the main story this season should focus on Coach and Ozzy? Do you think Ozzy would be willing to sacrifice himself and risk going to Redemption Beach if they were to lose another challenge? How will Albert and Sophie recover from the split that occurred in Upolu? Why do you think Rick voted for Mikayla? Did Coach tell him about the HII? What would be most important to you going into the merge: loyalty or numbers? Will Mikayla put Christine out of her misery at Redemption Beach?

Here are the tribes after episode 6. Savaii:Cochran, Dawn, Jim, Keith, Ozzy and Whitney Upolu:Albert, Brandon, Coach, Edna, , Rick, and Sophie Redemption Beach: Christine vs. Mikayla

Jo Ann thinks Upolu will stick to their plan and send Edna to her doom at Redemption Beach next. Stacy continues to think that Brandon's erratic behavior will finally do him in. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

South Pacific Episode 5 LF Oct 16, 2011
    Show notes

Four big themes jumped out of the feedback on episode 5 this week. The gross out factor of the immunity challenge prompted many folks to suggest that the producers retire this one. Support for Cochran is waining. Many asked, "Has he actually done anything to merit our support?" The backlash against Ozzy which started last week continues as Cochran stoked the fires with his pronouncement of laziness and the preview for the next episode suggesting that Ozzy would declare himself a free agent. Several of you were singing Jim's praises and highlighted him as the real mastermind behind the Savaii power shift. For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. Twenty two fans shared their thoughts on episode 5 and predictions for what we'll see next. We want to thank and acknowledge everyone who contributed to another great Listener Feedback show. This week we heard from: Doug, Brian, Samantha, Tim, Lil' Russ, Jody/Helen, Evil John, Benjamin, Carolyn, SurvivorRox, DrewG, Debbie, Brandon, Troy, Anna, Griffin, Steve, MikeK, Debbie, Dale, Paul and Alice.

SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 5 of Survivor South Pacific Oct 14, 2011
    Show notes

This week we interviewed Stacey Powell. She left the game in episode 5 of Survivor South Pacific. She also ended up outside the majority alliance. That plus her association with Christine and fierce independence made her an early vote out target. That does not mean she was invisible though. Stacey provided some of the funniest moments we have seen in Survivor. We will absolutely miss watching her as the season progresses. Listen to this interview to hear what she said to "Benjamin" when he tried to hug her, her thoughts on each of her tribemates, who was in her alliance and lots more!

    South Pacific Episode 5 Oct 13, 2011
    Show notes

Welcome to the Survivor South Pacific playground. Over here you'll note the classic seesaw. That's what we use to predict which tribe will win the next immunity challenge. Well, it's starting to seem like that at least. One thing is for certain, these two tribes have been well balanced through episode 5. Are you still enjoying it? Do you think Albert might have taken advantage of Coach a little with the information he brought back? Who do you think stands a better chance of making it to the final four: Brandon or Cochran? How do you think Keith and Whitney can explain shifting their votes to Dawn? Do you think Ozzy will really separate himself from his tribe? Do you think Coach has got a lock on the game now that he too has an HII? Who wins in the showdown between Christine and Elyse?

Here are the tribes after episode 5. Savaii:Cochran, Dawn, Jim, Keith, Ozzy and Whitney Upolu:Albert, Brandon, Coach, Edna, Mikayla, Rick, and Sophie Redemption Beach: Christine vs. Elyse

Jo Ann thinks it will be a toss up between Edna and Brandon for the next one to leave from Upolu. Stacy believes Upolu will finally come to their senses and get rid of Brandon. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

South Pacific Episode 4 LF Oct 09, 2011
    Show notes

We got mixed reports on episode 4. A lot of you really enjoyed it, but a few, not so much. One thing that came through loud and clear this week is that Ozzy is rapidly losing fan support. The old assessments of arrogance and over confidence are back again along with at least one clear scenario that could see him lose the majority advantage in his tribe. Edna certainly gained some empathy votes this week, and Brandon continues to stir the debate as to just how much like his uncle he actually is. For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. SFP Interview: Castoff from Episode 4 of Survivor South Pacific Oct 07, 2011
    Show notes

This week we interviewed Mark Caruso AKA PapaBear. He left the game in episode 4 of Survivor South Pacific. He unfortunately found himself on the outside of the majority alliance on his tribe. As the oldest male in the game much less his tribe, plus some lackluster performance in the challenges, he became an early vote out target. Listen to this interview to find out who betrayed his initial alliance, what he really found during the idol search, why he voted for Jim and lots more!

    South Pacific Episode 4 Oct 06, 2011
    Show notes

They really kept us guessing with this one. There were so many potential vote outs presented in the first half of the episode. Brandon continued his disintegration, while further undermining his supposed alliance. Edna got a wake up call. Cochran, Dawn and Jim were considering risky moves, which in turn highlighted Elyse as a new target too. Once the Immunity Challenge was settled it narrowed a bit, but we still were looking at Brandon, Edna or Stacey when Tribal Council started. Would you consider cutting Brandon loose this soon if you were in the majority alliance? If you were on the outside of a majority like Cochran and Dawn, would you consider voting out Ozzy? Time for another duel. Who wins in the showdown between Christine and Stacey?

Here are the tribes after episode 4. Savaii:Cochran, Dawn, Elyse, Jim, Keith, Ozzy and Whitney Upolu:Albert, Brandon, Coach, Edna, Mikayla, Rick, and Sophie Redemption Beach: Christine vs. Stacey

Jo Ann thinks Edna will be next to leave. Stacy thinks Upolu has finally had enough of unpredictible Brandon and send him on a retreat to Redemption Beach before he makes his final stop at Loser's Lodge. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?

Another solid episode and you guys really brought some great analysis and serious laughs to this weeks feedback show. No one shed a tear over Semhar's departure. Nor did anyone seem surprised that Papa Bear ended up at Redemption Beach. Everyone expects that Christine will make quick work of him. We were split on what the future may hold for Cochran as well as Brandon's groan worthy attempt to be a good religious representative. For each episode, we provide 3 podcasts: an episode recap, an interview with the castoff, and a chance for Survivor fans like yourself to sound off on what you saw and how you think the castaways are fairing in the game. South Pacific Episode 3 Sep 29, 2011
    Show notes

Brandon can't seem to get out of his own way. He somehow manages to be frustrating and entertaining to watch all at the same time. Can you think of a more memorable meltdown? What would you do if you were in an alliance with him? How do you think Mikayla handled it? The Upolus weren't the only ones having fun this week. There was plenty of action at Savaii too. Ozzy managed to keep his secret for 3 days. Who do you think is in a tighter alliance: Ozzy and Keith or Keith and Whitney? Last but not least: who wins in the showdown between Christine and Mark Anthony?

Here are the tribes after episode 3. Savaii:Cochran, Dawn, Elyse, Jim, Keith, Ozzy and Whitney Upolu:Albert, Brandon, Coach, Edna, Mikayla, Rick, Sophie and Stacey Redemption Beach: Christine vs Mark Anthony

Jo Ann thinks Cochran's number is up, and he will be the next to go. Stacy believes that immunity will flip again, and Upolu will stick with the plan and vote out Stacey. Who is your pick for the next one to be voted out?
