Manchester United win 9-0.

Eight different scorers against Southampton: Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Marcus Rashford, own goal, Edinson Cavani, Anthony Martial x2, Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, Daniel James.

Biggest win since 1995 - though that game against Ipswich didn't have VAR making crazy decisions.

The Reds are level on 44 points with rivals Man City, who have two games in hand as we record this podcast.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needed to see a convincing display from his players and he got one.

Dale had the pleasure of being joined by Ben Thornley for a special interview this week. After shining amongst the Class of 92 and being tipped to become a regular in Sir Alex Ferguson's side, Thornley suffered a devastating injury against Blackburn Rovers. Nowadays he commentates on United games for MUTV and is one of few lucky enough to be attending matches at the moment. We talk a bit about that and how United are doing this season. This episode of the Strettycast is a reaction to Manchester United's goalless stalemate with Arsenal at the Emirates.

The mood has worsened between Dale and Mike because the knock-on effect of drawing with Arsenal feels worse.

United host Southampton on Tuesday night before playing at host again to Everton the following Saturday. Then it's West Ham in the fourth round of the FA Cup -- once again at home.

Manchester United went toe-to-toe with Liverpool at Anfield, stuck the sword in and rode victorious into the fifth-round of the FA Cup.

Dale is joined by Mike to run through the game and Jermain Jenas' shocking co-commentary on BBC One.

Manchester United won 3-2 on the day and knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup.

Goals from Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes sealed the win. Mohamed Salah scored twice for the Scousers.

Jurgen Klopp's men were lucky not to have had two players sent off but remember it's only United who get favoured treatment from match officials.

Ste gives an outsider's perspective on the influence Bruno Fernandes has had at United as well as the work Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has done.
