    Aging is a mixed bag, isn’t it? Some mental skills decline with age—like short-term memory loss and visual spatial processing. Sometimes as we age, we feel confused or frustrated by limitations. For example, one study found that managing emotions is a skill in itself, one that takes many of us decades to master.
