    Fierce quizzing rivals Dom Fifield and Sam Parkin are alongside Matt Davies-Adams to reflect on Chelsea's departure from the League Cup after the 2-0 defeat at Manchester City. But it's not all doom and gloom - as a Simon Johnson voice note live from the Etihad at the final whistle points out - with 18-year-old Lewis Hall playing a starring role and a generally improved performance from the losses to Brighton and Arsenal.

    The tough assignments continue with a trip to St. James' Park to take on a Newcastle United side flying high under Eddie Howe.

    There's a round up of the other Blues news elsewhere including an impressive win for the development squad, World Cup heartache for Reece James - and a UCL showdown with Dortmund to look forward to.

    And of course, Dom and Sam go head-to-head in a grudge match...

    Thankfully Chelsea Women brought some joy to the weekend courtesy of a 3-1 win at Manchester United!

    Graham Potter's side could be in a world of pain *again* when they make the trip to the Etihad to face Manchester City in the League Cup. We predict our starting XI's and look ahead to the game.

    We'll be back on Thursday to reflect on that game, the Champions League round of 16 draw - and look ahead to the trip to Newcastle for the Blues' final game before the World Cup break.
