Obi-Wan Kenobi CUT Commander Cody From Original Script - My Thoughts Jul 24, 2023

Show notes

COMMANDER CODY WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A GOOD ROLE IN THE OBI-WAN KENOBI SHOW!! I really don't know why they would cut this.

WHY Obi-Wan's Lightsaber BOUNCED off the Storm Trooper Jul 24, 2023

Show notes

In Obi-Wan Kenobi show episode 4 in the Inquisitorious HQ, we see him save Leia from the chamber guarded by just 2 storm troopers. As he hacks away, obi-wan's lightsaber BOUNCES off.

Definitely would have preferred obi-wan kenobi's lightsaber to go through, but with little Leia there, I think it makes sense.

The One Thing I Wish the Vader Kenobi Fight Included Jul 24, 2023

Show notes

PADME! Qui-Gon Jinn! Turning Anakin back! These were some things I would have liked to have seen incorporated into the fight at one point or another, where Vader would either go full rage or he'd be broken down a bit and have to talk with Obi-Wan about everything (or some things) that happened to him.

Qui-Gon Jinn's Return Breaks George Lucas Canon and I'm here for it - My Thoughts Jul 24, 2023

Show notes

In the Obi-Wan Kenobi show, Qui-Gon Jinn appears finally to Obi-Wan Kenobi at the very end, after his duel with Anakin / Vader. I see many people saying that it breaks canon from George Lucas's Star Wars, and I agree. However, now that it's in the hands of Disney, I don't mind. Their choices don't really align with George's vision anyway, so a lot of this is really just fan fiction with the original actors for me. Qui-Gon's appearance shouldn't happen, but I want it to, and I'm happy it did.

What do you think?

Why Obi-Wan Let Vader Live AGAIN After Vowing to End Him - My Analysis Jul 24, 2023

Show notes

In episode 6 of the Obi-Wan Kenobi show on Disney plus, we saw Obi-Wan fight Anakin / Vader once again, and this time, let him live again.

I see a lot of discourse regarding him letting Kenobi live, so here's my take on it.

Do you think Obi-Wan should have let him live? Do you think it makes sense?

I think it fits well with A New Hope where Vader tells Obi-Wan '''when I left you I was but the learner...now I am the master.'

Why VADER Lost to Obi-Wan in Episode 6 - My Analysis Jul 24, 2023

Show notes

In episode 6 of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Vader and Obi-Wan fought and it wasn't a good outcome for Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader. There are many reasons to this beyond just 'Obi-Wan was better' or "Vader is conflicted"

Let's discuss and breakdown the fight!

Yeah let's discuss this Vader and Reva thing in Obi-Wan Kenobi Jul 24, 2023

Show notes

Vader let Reva live all through her life after joining the empire. She knew he was Anakin Skywalker, and Vader knew she knew this. This wouldn't fly. I don't think he would let her live this whole time.
