We finally got there! Crossing The Rubincon! How's it gonna end? (The season. There's still season 2, remember?)

So much has happened. People are dancing or lamenting the cancellation, but we're here to talk about the FINALE (to season 1).

The only place to give you the unvarnished truth about what worked... and what didn't. Plus a few tall boys.

And also... I'm Eighteen.

Things get loose at the end! Come hang out. Hopefully some guy won't whip out a guitar and make it awkward.

Ending are hard.

For some intro banter, and stuff cut from the end where we finally really talk about anime... check out the patreon at

My Starfleet Academia - Caution. Drama Kids are Up in Our Town (Starfleet Academy S1E08) Mar 09, 2026

Show notes

Talking about Star Trek: Starfleet Academy's "The Life of the Stars":

Flipping a chair around backwards and sitting with my arms crossed,

"Did you know Shakespeare is basically the same thing as rap?"

Let's rap about trauma, fellow kids.

Also for the prurient puerile folks out there, this episode gave us fodder to talk about quadratesticles and the genitalia of Klingons ... and echidnas.

Lotta sighs in this one!

Remember to contact your Red Letter McElroy's about getting "I'm Eighteen" featured in season 2 of Star Trek Academy!

Just be gay already, Hunter. How gay are we on a fluid sexuality scale? Well we get into that.

And ok Intrepid Class Listeners: You know what you have to do.

We don't have the juice to get it done, but maybe with youre help someone can.

We'll spend time talking about I'm Eighteen by Alice Cooper anyway. Perhaps more than Glen wants to.

Whether or not you liked this episode of SFA, I'll go out on a limb and say "Kestrel Prime" is a whole lot better way to revisit some of you favorite characters and references in a way that is more than just empty eggs.
