Mary chats with Paul Scharf of Friends of Israel Ministry about the Pilgrims, and the heart of a pilgrim. The Bible refers to pilgrims and sojourners as those who knew they were strangers in a strange land, just passing through. Touching the world lightly. In this fast-paced culture of constant chatter and visual distraction, it has become more rare to find those Christians who truly are not conformed to this world, or at least seeking to be influenced by it less and less. And we are told to seek first the kingdom and its righteousness above all. Today we discuss Psalm 107, often referred to as the Pilgrims' Psalm - not that they see themselves in it, but their experiences were reflected in these verses. The layout is such that those who find themselves wandering, imprisoned, afflicted, or just weathering a storm will find comfort and encouragement. Those who came ashore at Plymouth Rock were directed to this Psalm by Governor William Bradford, and Christians have found similar solace in every generation. Dave Wager: Thanksgiving, Dependence, And The God Who Provides Nov 24, 2025

In today's NEW PODCAST, Bible teacher Dave Wager walks through what it really means to give thanks “with all our heart” to the God who provides everything we enjoy. Starting from Psalm 9:1, he explains that true thankfulness needs a Person as its object, not just things. Hope, love, and gratitude all have to be directed somewhere, and for the Christian that “somewhere” is ultimately God. Dave contrasts our American abundance with the deep joy and generosity he witnessed in a poor African village, where believers gladly shared their only meal with him and pointed every ounce of gratitude back to the Lord’s daily provision. Their example forced him to confess how casual and shallow his own thanksgiving had often been, even while living with full cupboards and constant comfort. From there, Dave draws a line from Scripture to our own Thanksgiving tables, reminding us that it is God who gives life, safety, health, work, family, and even the heritage of our national Thanksgiving celebration. He unpacks passages like 1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 and Philippians 4:6, showing that God’s will for His people is to rejoice always, pray without ceasing, and give thanks in everything, including hardship. Using Job, Habakkuk, and the history of the pilgrims, he shows how trials expose our dependence and highlight God’s faithfulness. Above all, Dave centers the conversation on the gospel, calling listeners to thank God for His “indescribable gift” in Jesus Christ, who died so we could be adopted into God’s family. This Thanksgiving, he urges us to remember that God does not need us, but He wants us, and to respond with lives that gratefully point every good gift back to the Giver.

Just when we might think the problems in the church are fixable if someone would only truly search the Scriptures and at least listen to the apologists' concerns, we get to the bedrock of an evil philosophy so stuck in mud that there seems no way to pry it loose. What is a worldview? Is a Christian worldview something related to an American conservative pro-life, pro-family stance that we can use when we engage the culture? Not that there is anything inherently wrong with that one, but it's really something far more basic, having to do with the nature of God and the separation of Him from His creation. Mary welcomes back Pastor Andy Woods to talk about some of the more significant stories in late November. We look at this week's Climate ConJob - rather, "Confab" - and who is actually running the show these days. While the agenda never changes, and they keep trying to pull the wool over our sheeple eyes, there is no denying that many in the world today are getting pretty weary of this sales pitch. Next on our list is the Judeo/Christian worldview and lifestyle that Americans have always enjoyed, and what has happened to obliterate it in one generation. Immigration, ideologies like Communism, Marxism, Progressivism and Islam have taken a huge toll on our freedoms and our prosperity, not to mention endless attacks on men, women and children who have to be open to being something other than how God created them. Now what? Plurality goes off the rails spiritually when a Hindu temple is erecting a 90 foot statue of a Hindu God down in Texas, still a state of the union last I heard. It's going down so fast it seems. Then we discuss some freedoms of speech and religion that are also going the way of the phone booth - only with greatly significant consequences. Suppose God is removing His hand of protection from idolatrous Americans? Although we are not a Christian nation under the banner of salvation, we have held high the freedom, morals, and good neighborliness that love requires for our entire existence. Tim and Mary take a look at the current news cycle in light of some of the more unusual stories of late. The UN did something very unusual in passing a resolution favorable to Trump and his peace plan. The strangeness lies in creating a Peace Board with him at the head, and an international force in Gaza. They still don't have any idea as to where a Palestinian state might end up, or who might be heading up this force, but details rarely matter anymore. We also look at the soon-to-conclude Climate Summit and find out what they are up to minus US support. We talk about those powerful data centers, and why people are starting to revolt over the cost to build and to run them. From the further Islamization of Texas to Ai toys for the holiday from China, again we have to wonder to ourselves not just why things are so strange of late, but can they get any stranger?

Mary Danielsen Today on Stand Up, Mary takes advantage of a cancellation spot and talks about value. Yes, the price of everything is going up, but that doesn't mean it's actually worth more. When the Danielsens bought their starter home, it was old and leaning but still had value. When they moved out, it was older and leaned further, but worth a significant amount more. Why is this? Value, investments, worth - the world will tell us just what we can get for pretty much anything. Antiques Roadshow is a very popular program. Since we can't take it with us, we might as well buy and sell and get through the economic murk. But what really has untold eternal value - the gospel - is what is hidden deep in these old earthen vessels. And we need to rightly handle it, in honor of those who gave their lives for it, so WE could hear it and pass it along, like a human chain through the ages. Paul tells Timothy to "hold fast the pattern of sound words" - guard that gospel, Timothy, above all. Do you have the price tags on the right pieces and are they reflecting their true value? What hill do you want to die on, the political hill, the youth at any cost hill, the modern churchianity hill, or the gospel? Think hard, there is only 1 right answer. In this installment of SUFTT, we chat about how he came to Christ, and what it means to work at Living Waters. We ask him about open air preaching, which is something that our human nature perhaps rubs against and yet moving forward despite our fears even when public speaking is involved is an important aspect of reaching everyday humans with the truth. What happens after that, well, we leave the results to God. Living Waters has been a blessing to so many for decades, and demonstrating how to share the gospel is as important of an aspect to what they do as it is actually sharing it because believers often need a little encouragement, inspiration and education on how best to do just that. Mary welcomes Dr. Chris Rupe to talk about that infamous graphic depicting the linear march of ape-to-human that billions know, or accept as, the story of the evolution of mankind. "March of Progress", as the mural is named, has only been around since 1965 and yet generations of students were force-fed this simplistic view of humans and there is no "unseeing" it, even if a picture is worth 1000 (lying, fake, fraudulent, hoax-worthy) words. We chat with Chris about how the theory of evolution is stalled out - if not going backwards)- over bones and fossils. Specifically transitional bones, because if we can't find any layers of ape-to-human proof in the form of fossils, what now? Scientists like to think evolution is not merely a theory but also not an ideology, but we are going to take some time to clear all that up. Tim and Mary Danielsen take a look at the current news cycle, which, as always it seems, moves forward to a specific end more and more. It's easy to just be detached because the news is uniquely bad; but do we stand back often enough to see the big picture? Everything is moving toward a prophesied end and that gets more obvious by the day. And that it is going there guided by the Hand of History should never be taken for granted by us mere earthlings. Yeah, Communism is bad; it has never succeeded; and it will enslave us as sure as the digital dollar. But the real story should probably be the one about Islam which will also enslave us and cost us our head if we stand firm. American voters think that what's best for us is always something different, but history shows that is a very dangerous mindset. According to FOX, Gen Z voted for Trump and Mamdani for the same reason: change. The level of shortsightedness here is astounding. We also talk about Kristallnacht, Yad Vashem (Holocaust museum in Israel) and more.

Holly Pivec: The New Apostolic Revolution Nov 11, 2025

Mary welcomes back author, apologist and speaker Holly Pivec for a timely conversation about the New Apostolic Reformation - which has become more of a revolution if you look at the numbers. And yet so many believers have never heard of it. So today we look at the basics: what it is, what it isn't, and how to recognize it will take a bit of effort since it isn't a specific church or denomination. We look at how it intersects with politics and why. If Christians think that the gospel they see in today's politics is pure, they really need to think again, since the NAR is bent on taking over every system of the world. Does that sound as crazy to you reading it as it did to me writing it? It should, because dominion theology says that Christians must take over the world before Jesus can return. And yes, that IS crazy because Jesus isn't a hostage in heaven waiting for us to overtake politics. We also talk about revival: what might that look like here in 2025, with the NAR being opportunistic in nature, that wherever there are whispers of revival, there they must be. Christians must be armed with this information or they risk being deceived, it really is that simple. If a claim of revival turns out to be fake, are we trying to assign the Holy Spirit to something He has not initiated? How can that not be perilous to believers?
