Melissa Toon Talks About The Corrupt Family Court Game And How To Play It Jul 23, 2021

Melissa Toon on Slam the Gavel is a survivor of domestic violence. She has a unique perspective due to an almost unbelievable personal experience in North Carolina and West Virginia that are related to coercive control and family court corruption. Melissa discusses how law enforcement is used as a tool of abuse and child abuse. There are also frequent encounters with fraud, bias, and injustice within the Family Law system.
She is also the creator of surviving post separation abuse and parenting in context of coercive control on Facebook and Mamas in pursuit of happiness on YouTube.
A self represented litigant who has empowered herself by supporting others with continuously increasing knowledge, previously unknown to the average pro se litigant.
Melissa is also a mom who has been prevented from protecting her child while in the confines of the Family Court and Child protection systems. Formerly a Licensed Practical Nurse & Paralegal, she was sent to prison for her first offense as a result of acts of violence post separation from an abuser.
We discussed a wealth of information regarding the lack of integrity related to Family Law attorneys and judges, Constitutional and Civil Rights Violation in the Family Court arena as well as the rights of litigants.
The heart-breaking traumatic emotional states of mothers, domestic violence victims forced to coparent with their abuser which is capitalized upon by Family Court actors who continue the conflict by granting access of children to the abuser was discussed and the standard silver bullet in the Family Court proceedings is to intentionally engage in defamation the mother's character.
There are numerous legal remedies available to these litigants, including having a jury trial for custody cases-intentionally not being disclosed by Family Court actors. Parents need to be aware of the Family Court judges who willfully instill fear in parents by threatening jail through gag orders as what happened to Melissa. She tells us what our response should be.

Paulette MacDonald Discusses The Best Interest Of The Child, Having Both Parents And Canadian Government Sponsored Equal Shared Parenting Jul 21, 2021

Slam the Gavel had Paulette MacDonald back on for an update on how Petition E-3298 which involves equal shared parenting was progressing. She said she had fantastic feedback from our last podcast and another 200 signatures were added to the Petition! Paulette is urging everyone in Canada to please sign and share this Petition E-3298. The Petition closes on August 7th, 2021.
Paulette is a Child and Family Advocate/Activist and is advocating for equal parenting and raising awareness to Parental Alienation. She discussed that parents are guilty until proven innocent with court appearance after court appearance with a different judge every time.
The organizations that Paulette belongs to now is the CEPC co-present until 2012, CAFE board of directors 2012-2018, LW4SP 2012-2021, CEPC board of directors to 2018 to present as well as TCFC and PASG.

Paulette MacDonald, From Canada Is A Child And Family Advocate/Activist Discusses Changes In Canada For A Rebuttable Presumption Of Equal Shared Parenting Jul 14, 2021

Paulette MacDonald is a Child and Family Advocate/Activist. She has lived seven years of experience as a second wife and stepmother dealing with parental alienation and Canada’s profoundly dysfunctional family law system that is failing Canadian children and families – now she is raising awareness to the devastating consequences of parental alienation and is seeking legislative changes in Canada for a rebuttable presumption of equal parenting at the onset of divorce or separation, in the absence of abuse, neglect or violence.
Paulette is now advocating for equal parenting and raising awareness to parental alienation. In 2005 it took two years for her to learn what she was dealing with had a name PA. Paulette also did two more years of researching and reading everything she could get her hands on and tried educating the mother directly but when that didn’t work, she started educating the community through proclamations, community events, letters to the editor.
With false allegations, Parents are guilty until proven innocent with court appearance after court appearance and a different judge every time. The court appointed family counsellor t got her into advocating, office of the children’s lawyer, Children’s Aid Society…
Paulette been did a high-profile stunt for Father's For Justice Canada that got her so much attention followed by 8 months of court appearances… radio, tv, newspaper interviews, letters to the editor.
The organizations Paulette belongs to now is the CEPC co-present until 2012, CAFÉ board of directors 2012 – 2018, LW4SP 2012 – 2021, CEPC board of directors 2018 to present – TCFC and PASG.

Aoife Griffin from Ireland Discusses The Healing Process Parents Must Go Through After Experiencing The Family Courts Jul 13, 2021

Back on Slam the Gavel, Aoife Griffin and I discussed how the Family Courts break parents self-confidence down and that there has to be a healing process after experiencing the trauma of the corrupt family court system.
Aoife is certified in Quantum Flow and uses hypnotism to get to the root cause of the parent's Anxiety and Depression in order to help her clients release their limiting beliefs, stresses and traumas from their subconscious mind, body and nervous system.
It is very important for parents to know that they must heal from Domestic Violence, Verbal/Emotional Abuse and even having the courage to leave the situation. Coping skills are important such as breathing patterns, pressure points, especially when in the Family Court system. Mind, body and self if not taken care of will have a ripple effect. Once a child is seeing their parent for the first time in years, they need to see that their parent has taken care of themselves and are whole. It is a healing process of the family that the child must be able to see whether it is their parent or grandparent.
Aoife has said that there is nothing so bad you can't heal from and there is still time and hope.

Colleen Murray, Ph.D.,LPC Discusses Her Work In Counseling, Parental Alienation And Florida House Bill 241 Jul 12, 2021

Slam the Gavel welcones Colleen M. Murray, Ph.D., is a Licensed Practicing Counselor in Saint Robert, MO. Dr. Murray has an interest in better defining intimate partner violence to include parental alienation. She has spent many years working in the area of intimate partner violence and studying the effects and interventions for children subjected to intimate partner violence. Dr. Murray is in private practice with a focus on high conflict divorce and parental alienation. Dr. Murray assists families with co-parenting, reunification of alienated parent, and parent management techniques. Dr. Murray regularly testifies as an expert witness in high conflict divorce case. Dr. Murray speaks at continuing education conferences for family law attorneys and judges concerning how parental alienation effects children. Dr. Murray is also an adjunct professor at Drury University.
Colleen M. Murray is the owner of Victor’s Crown Christian Counseling Center, where she specializes in working with families struggling with high conflict divorce and parental alienation. Colleen is also an adjunct faculty member of Drury University. Colleen attended Campbell University and received her bachelor’s in Psychology. After graduation Colleen went on to serve in the United States Army where she received the Medal of Merit for her work in Homeland Security. After leaving the Army, Colleen went on to received her Master’s and Ph.D. in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University graduating summa cum laude and cum laude. Colleen conducted research in childhood trauma due to domestic violence. Colleen has three children; Ashley, Stuart and Joseph and lives in Saint Robert Missouri with her husband Daniel.
We talked about Florida House Bill 241 being passed recently and how to make changes in your state.

As a founder of the Child-Centered Divorce Network, she does not focus her attention on providing legal advice. Rosalind agrees the system is toxic but specializes in helping parents make the best decisions on behalf of their children--before, during and years after a divorce.
Rosalind believes the earlier she can reach both parents the better chance she has at getting them to grasp the damage done by making serious divorce mistakes. She has a unique and effective way to break the divorce news with the kids. Also, Rosalind has success strategies for co-parenting long-term and use probing questions to get parents inn alignment regarding co-parenting issues.

Slam the Gavel welcomes Investigative Journalist, Michael Volpe back for another great show. Great discussion on the corruption in the counties of North Carolina and Miami Dade Florida.
In the pits of corruption, DSS/ CPS essentially snatches children from their protective parents with no warrant and no court order. Cherokee County is only one example of where a major investigation is taking place ensuing with indictments, lawsuits and takeover by the state.
Michael Volpe explained that the police, DSS and the courts do an awful job of investigating allegations of child abuse. CPS purposely coerces the protective parent to be placed in a vice through no fault of their own while having them sign off their rights using confusing documents. Caseworkers stealing children and having the parents sign their rights away is the typical modus operandi of CPS and Guardian Ad Litems. It's sickening what they are doing to people. Counties in NC and Miami Dade Florida as well as many others are guilty of these wrongdoings to families.

Also, at about fifteen minutes, the judge, Gordon Miller, chimes in, says, "it's rarely appropriate to put a boy in a dog cage...but we don't know the context."
There is no ACCOUNTABILITY nor oversight in these cases and children and parents are paying dearly for it. The way to make progress in over-hauling the system is to continuously contact your legislature and continue to lobby for bills that will be passed. Expose these criminals for what they are.

Barbara Drtina is the founder and CEO of Wellness Matters, You Matter, LLC, a company dedicated to creating a lifestyle focused on physical health as well as emotional health. After losing a daughter to suicide at the age of 15 she realized how important it is to address emotional health and wellbeing especially with our youth. She teaches mindfulness and meditation practices and works with single moms going through divorce to help mitigate the trauma on themselves and their children.
She focuses on Physical Health through Nutrigenomics as well as Emotional Health, Resiliency and Trauma Guided Recovery. She is dedicated to bringing awareness to the going epidemic of Parental Alienation ( Parental alienation describes a process through which a child becomes estranged from a parent as the result of the psychological manipulation of another parent). She is a speaker on this topic as well as, surviving the loss of a child, those left behind after suicide, parental alienation as well as the emerging field of Nutrigenomics.

Cheryl states our nation has not been restored as no one is responsible or held accountable today. America has been usurped by Great Britain and the BAR Association is controlling everything except the Federal Reserves. She is disappointed that no progress has been made. There has been no accountability in decades.
So many corruption issues were discussed along with Family Court corruption and the Thomas Valva Case.
