Slam the Gavel welcomes Michael Sayen, Author, back on the show to discuss, "Why we can't get along," Coverture, Feminism and Contract Law. History was discussed in-depth from the Magna Carta in 1066 to present time, the Leviathan principle, where the King was supreme and how that converted to, "WE THE PEOPLE."
Family Court pits parents against one another even though one parent filed for "No-fault divorce" and usually does not report Domestic Violence and Child Abuse to the police. Instead, Family Court Judges bypass the criminal system and the jury. Family Court judges do not want to prosecute abuse and neglect as a crime, because they do not have faith in the criminal system or they fear that a parent will be found innocent and the parent uses the verdict as leverage for shared custody.
Personality Disorders play a role as Judges will give the children to the parent who looks like them, talks like them and behaves/dresses like them. The courts do not believe the woman who is honestly frantic for the safety of her child/children but instead tend to believe the Narcissist. The discussion continues on the Best Interest of the Child and how that supersedes Parental Rights. This is in fact destroying not only our nation, but the world as a whole.
Michael explains how Parens Patriae allowed for the government to gain control over our children while disregarding the rights of the parents. Children are considered property of the state once a petition for divorce is filled with the court, leaving parents with no say nor Due Process rights.
The history of how Feminism evolved as well as, the history of "no fault divorce," and the BAR was explained in detail. A fascinating podcast not to be missed.

A Mom Speaks Out On Her Ordeal With CPS, How It Affected Her Family And Foster Care Jan 17, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes an anonymous mother. She and her two children began their ordeal with CSD in Portland, Oregon in 1991, during which time her husband abandoned the family and Mother died.
Her parental rights were terminated after a nearly 3-year battle and successfully completing multiple service plans. She then moved and remarried, eventually having to endure a costly fight to keep from having her son removed at birth due to a “history” with children's services. She was able win that case and leave the hospital with her son, who is now 21.
Her two children were adopted out to a couple who received SSI money for them and they were subjected to abuse and neglect in this placement. The father was charged for the ongoing rape of her daughter and served 8 years. While the agency was involved, their parental rights were never terminated. As teens living in extreme poverty, they sought out their mother on facebook.
Today, her children are faced with an unsure future due to physical and mental health issues and past trauma, as well as having had previous problems with substance abuse and the criminal system. Neither are able to work and her daughter will remain in group-home care. This Mom is working on a book and hoping now to hold the system accountable in court in the hopes that her adult children and others will be able to be compensated for the damage done to their lives and future. Speaking out on this injustice and self care are very important to every parent and she highly recommended the book, "The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma," by Bessel van Der Kolk, M.D.

William Bernet, M.D., Discusses Parental Alienation, Estrangement And The Five Factor Model Jan 10, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes William Bernet, M.D. Emeritus Member and Professor of Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Prior to retirement, Dr. Bernet was a Forensic Psychiatrist who evaluated adults, children and families involved in legal situations, both civil and criminal.
Dr. Bernet's book, "Children of Divorce," was co-authored with a circuit court judge, Don Ash. In 2010, he published Parental Alienation, DSM-5 and ICD-11. In 2014 he and his colleagues published Parental Alienation: The Handbook for Mental Health and Legal Professionals which was edited by Demosthenes Lorandos, William Bernet and S. Richard Sauber.
Other interests prior to Dr. Bernet's retirement included pretrial competency and insanity evaluations, death penalty mitigation, genotyping of defendants, child custody and visitation disputes and allegations of child sexual abuse as well as forensic psychiatry in particular the effects of divorce, child custody disputes, Parental Alienation, child maltreatment and genomics of violence.
Dr. Bernet's current research interest is methodology for distinguishing Parental Alienation and Parental Estrangement.
Dr. Bernet discussed his book, "Parental Alienation-Science and Law," published in 2020 (Demosthenes Lorandos/William Bernet) explains the research that creates the foundation for the assessment, identification, and intervention in cases of parental alienation (PA). For attorneys, judges, and family law professionals, this book explains in detail the scientific basis for testimony and legal decisions that relate to PA. Dr. Bernet also explained that it is organized around the Five Factor Model. This book can be found on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Dr. Bernet explained how the concept of parental alienation has been admitted into evidence in more than 1,100 court cases in the U.S. since 1985. He also discussed how the Five-Factor Model (FFM) can be used to diagnose parental alienation. Articles regarding the FFM have been published in peer-reviewed journals, that is, Feedback (the journal of the Family Therapy Association of Ireland) and the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Not a podcast to be missed with so much information that child psychologists, judges and attorneys need to know about.

Cheryl A. Kennedy is a "Fraud on the Court," crime victim defrauded by an Attorney in a divorce with a judge involved. Due to the State Bar of California being inoperable, it led to her subpoena of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to a violated jury trial against the Attorney in 2008. Attorney General Jerry Brown represented Schwarzenegger, he was later subpoenaed after alleged payoffs were made. The cases corruption went from San Mateo Superior Court , in CA to Albany/Ulster County Supreme Court under Cuomo in NY. Kennedy exposed many other victim cases over the years and had a U.S. Marshal assigned to her under the Obama Administration. Kennedy is a Constitutionalist, Rights Activist and Whistleblower and commented for years on election fraud, fake news, fraud in foreclosures etc. Kennedy has personally sought the Military and Trump to restore our Republic NOW.
Cheryl would like to see justice and has contacted several in high places asking for the same to end the injustice of the election fraud.

Monica Griego Speaks Out On Her CYFD Case And Where Her Daughters Are In New Mexico Jan 08, 2022

Monica Griego back on Slam The Gavel to update the viewers on her CYFD (CPS) case and exactly where her daughters are in New Mexico. This case has been open since April of 2016. Now the girls have been given to the father who is noncompliant with case plans. Monica is concerned as her daughters have not been properly cared for and are being neglected. Four caseworkers know about it, but are not holding the father accountable. There is no accountability in this broken system.
"The best way to explain your case," Monica states is to, "EXPOSE them." Accountability needs to be in place, laws need to be followed as well as judicial cannons. Everything has fallen by the wayside, however Monica's children are hanging in the balance and she wants her children home, safe with her.
Monica is still an advocate for many who seek her out for help with their cases and she is there to help educate parents and give support. This is an uphill battle with CYFD (CPS), but Monica remains stoic and persistent in getting her daughters back home.

Sean Brennan Speaks Out On His Treatment As A Pro Se, Collusion In The Courts And Wanting To See His Son Jan 02, 2022

Slam the Gavel welcomes Pro Se Litigant, Sean Brennan to the show to discuss his case and why can't he see his son. Not only has Sean's Constitutional rights, civil rights, liberties, and human rights have been violated, so has his two year-old son.
He hasn't been able to have a relationship with his child except for a few visitation days. Sean has had three Court appointed attorneys that didn't help to protect his son, Gabriel. Legal abuse is being ensued by his soon to be ex wife and her father.
The Family Court has refused to subpoena her mental health records, for the safety and "well being" of his son. They wouldn't do it despite multiple attempts of Sean asking them. Even the Referee wouldn't order Face Time with his son. Sean drives three hours to see his son. However, he wasn't able to see his son in three months, due to Covid-19. He has had supervised visits, bringing his 74 year-old father with him.
Sean got to go down on Father's Day and see his now two year-old Son. However, he found himself arrested. Sean was treated so badly, even as a Type One Diabetic, he could have lost his life, handcuffed to a stretcher, on his way to the hospital. Asking why he was there, the answer he received was, "You know that you have a protection order against you right?" Sean asked what was the violation? The officer wouldn't tell him.
Upon his arrest, his father had told him that she was walking around with his child, and he was saying, "Dada went in there. Why didn't he come and see me?"
Sean is looking for help to find an ADA/Civil Rights Attorney. In Sean's words, "this isn't legal or moral what's happening to my son and myself."

Slam the Gavel welcomes back author Kenneth Gottfried. He discusses his upcoming fourth book, the school system in regards to the non-custodial parent and the next steps with the FBI.
ACES Scores are so very important that no child should rank a 4 or higher However, if a child ranks a 4 or higher, they are thirty-times likely to commit suicide as well as have major health problems. When a child/teen is kept from the other parent, they end up hating half of themselves with a shared persecutory delusion, Depression and Anxiety. This issue at hand is that psychologists are not reporting child psychological abuse V995.51 in the DSM nor V61.20 Parent-Child Relational Problem, 309.4 Mixed Disturbance Of Emotions And Conduct to the proper authorities, which makes these psychologists a big part of the problem.
Ken spoke about documenting, video taping the meeting with the teacher, principle and law enforcement when discussing these issues that are so greatly affecting the psychological health of our youth today that will haunt them for the rest of their lives.
A child should just be living the best time of their lives of being a child or teen, not placed under the pressure of being lied to about the Target parent by a vengeful parent/grandparents.
Ken talks about discussing all of this with the FBI with no response.

Lynn Steinberg, Ph.D., Author, Tells Her Story And Discusses Why Regular Therapy Doesn't Work With Psychologists Dec 22, 2021

Slam the Gavel welcomes Lynn Steinberg, Ph.D. back on the Show to talk about why regular therapy is not working with psychologists that do not understand the mechanics of parent-child alienation. Dr. Lynn was last on the show December 3rd, 2021, Season 2, Episode137.
Psychologists are trained in the system that every parent is 50% responsible and that children do not lie. The child lies to please and appease the Alienating Parent. The psychologist perpetuates this unknowingly, or knowingly and allows the Alienating Parent and child to continue with the false narrative against the Target Parent. These psychologists are biased toward the Target Parent and are not adept in recognizing the signs of Parental Alienation, Coercive Control and Stockholm Syndrome.
This creates shame and guilt within the child years later when they recognize what has happened in the past and has finally seen through all the lies and misconceptions.
Dr. Lynn Steinberg also shares her story of Parental Alienation as well. This was a very informative podcast on how the Stockholm Syndrome, Coercive Control and Parental Alienation are perpetuated and the Psychologists that participate in it.
