Today we talk with THE MUPPET MOVIE and The Monkees TV series director - Mr. James Frawley! Needless to say, this is a very special interview.

Sarah and Richard scoped it out with Anthony Fox (Mousepire Podcast), Bekah Goodman (Bekah's Buttons) and Dave Skale (Our Ghost Host) though Richard and I almost didn't make it in to the Disneyland Resort - we'll give you the scoop right before we go into our Frozen Live review.

Just when you thought that was plenty show for one week, we have one more interview! Jeanie Gallo (ThePrincessPapers.com / Disney Dream Girls Podcast) attended a Walt Disney World Press Event and spoke with the director of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular fireworks show at Disney Hollywood Studios that debuts on June 17. She's also written a wonderful article with pictures. Lots of great insider info here!

Step In Time: BEDKNOBS AND BROOMSTICKS May 12, 2016
    Show notes

    Treguna Mekoides Trecorum Satis Dee!

That can only mean one thing… it's time for BEDKNOBS AND BROOMSTICKS! The spell has been cast and Teresa Delgado of Fangirls Going Rogue and Disney Vault Talk joins us to talk about this much-loved 1971 film. Sherman Brother's music, animation meeting live-action and some glorious 1970's revolutionary effects make this film an instant classic. Sarah and Teresa grew up with Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and Richard is now the newbie, just watching it for the very first time.

If you've never seen it or haven't watched in awhile, here's a plot refresher:

During the Battle of Britain in 1940, Miss Eglantine Price (played by future Mrs. Potts - Angela Lansbury), a cunning witch-in-training, wants to help the war efforts and use her supernatural powers to defeat the pending Nazi invasion.

Miss Price sets out to accomplish this task with the aid of three orphaned children who have been evacuated from the London Blitz. However they need the last spell from magician/steet performer/Witch school sheister Emelius Brown (played by David Tomlinson who is best known as Mr. Banks from Mary Poppins). Together, the crew uses an enchanted flying bed to find the missing spell and foil encroaching German troops.

STEP IN TIME: Remembering Disney's Matinee Movies is a spin-off show where we look back at the Disney live-action films of yesteryear. If you are already subscribed to Skywalking Through Neverland - do nothing! This show will appear in your feed. Have fun reminicing with us.

Now speaking of social media… SO MUCH STAR WARS this week! Rogue One Teaser Trailer dropped as well as The Force Awakens Blu-Ray with Special Features. We review some of the bonus features with Skywalker and blogger, Drew Kaplan. Then, Richard and Sarah dive in to the ROGUE ONE TEASER TRAILER. The music! The plot! AT-ATs!

115: STAR WARS REBELS Season 2 Finale Press Coverage Special Mar 30, 2016
    Show notes

In true Disney fashion, Disney Channel PR and Lucasfilm put on a genuine Red Carpet bash at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, CA for the finale of Star Wars: Rebels, Season 2. In this episode, Richard and Sarah take you to the Red Carpet, inside the Main Theater with Q&A on "Twilight of the Apprentice" from cast and crew, and further to one-on-one interviews with Dave Filoni, Ashley Eckstein, Vanessa Marshall and Kevin Kiner.

*SPOILER ALERT* If you have NOT seen this finale - turn back now! Not only was the Q&A held after we all saw “Twilight of the Apprentice” together, but we also give our thoughts on spoiler-heavy moments. The Q&A was moderated by Amy Ratcliffe, and we heard from writer and creator Dave Filoni, creator Simon Kinberg, Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano) and Taylor Gray (Ezra Bridger). Since we bring our recorder everywhere, we had a short roundtable with fans right after the screening.

FURTHER EXPLORATION: Check out Adventures By Daddy for a complete rundown of the Red Carpet, including pictures and our Periscope. Then head over to FanGIRL Blog to watch the complete Q&A in its entirety and read some of my thoughts on “Twilight of the Apprentice”.

COMING UP: In the coming weeks we will cover the music of “Twilight of the Republic”, so email us your thoughts on any aspect of the episode to share@skywalkingthroughneverland.com.

Classic Marvel STAR WARS Comics #8 Mar 22, 2016
    Show notes

In this episode we are diving into Classic Marvel Star Wars Comic #8: "Eight For Aduba" or Magnificent 7 in space. You may recognize this comic as the introduction to several iconic characters, including Jaxxon and Serji-X.

We have our usual top trio to discuss the issue. Star Wars artist Randy Martinez lends his artistic and nostalgic wisdom to the discussion. Richard also remembers reading these comics as a kid, but Sarah is younger than the comics themselves, and is the voice of the newbie. All three create a fun dynamic as we discuss word such as "FORP!" "SCHINK!" and "Begone, Defilers of the Sacred Way!"

    Title: "Eight For Aduba"

    Release Date: November 8, 1977

Writer / Editor: Roy Thomas and Howard Chaykin

    Illustrator: Howard Chaykin

Synopsis: Han Solo and Chewbacca are hired by a local moisture farmer on Aduba-3, to protect his village from a band of local thugs known as the Cloud-Riders led by Serji-X. Han and Chewbacca hire six misfit spacers to help them with the task, including a rogue Jedi, a bikini clad gunslinger, and a green bunny with a mean disposition. Meanwhile, on Yavin 4, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO and R2-D2 blast off to search for a location for the new Rebel Alliance base.
