#138: THE DIVISION IS IT STILL WORTH BUYING? Dec 21, 2018

Show notes

Happy Holidays Agents!
TeamSITREP is back to full strength this week as Mike, Rob and Luke take the time to talk about all things Tom Clancy's The Division. Fresh from the Division 2 Technical Alpha, Rob and Luke give away all the juicy secrets* and Mike tries to convince anyone out there that hasn't tried The Division yet that now is the time to try it, especially as the game is SUPER cheap right now in the Uplay Store sale.
*That's a joke. There are no Division 2 Technical Alpha secrets contained within this podcast. Nor will there ever be. We have no desire to be sued by Ubisoft.

#134: Community EP: BorrieTheBlade Nov 23, 2018

Show notes

Episode 134 of SITREP Radio is somewhat of a throwback episode as Mike, Rob and Luke are joined by Boris "BorrietheBlade" to talk about the life of TCTD and reminisce about pretty much the entire life of the game.
Boris has been on SITREP Radio before, during the "Live from GamesCom" episode, but this time with much more time to utilise the lads really get a chance to pick at his brain and see what made him first dive into The Division, his feelings on the game in its current guise and also what his expectations are for The Division 2.

#132: What Happened To Central Park? Nov 09, 2018

Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke present Episode 132 of SITREP Radio where the focus of this weeks episode is the things we didn't get in Tom Clancy's The Division. The guys speculate as to the reasons Central Park never quite materialized in the live game, and what sort of content that area could have housed. There is also talk of what could be part of the playable area for TD2, with Military Bases/Fortresses and Airports being the main source of speculation for Washington DC.

#131: Launching The Division 2 Nov 02, 2018

Show notes

Mike, Rob, and Luke present Episode 131 of SITREP Radio, where this week the focus is on what we can safely expect from The Division 2 and what aspects of other games we have been playing recently that we'd like to "borrow" and implement into the new game. With the lads off playing a variety of differing games of-late (PUBG, Escape From Tarkov, Prey, Resident Evil 7, Spiderman, Destiny 2 and RDR2 to name but-a-few) there is plenty of story, features and differing mechanics to choose from, so pull up a chair, pour yourself a drink and listen to the lads' wish list.

#130: THE TRUE SON’S & EXPECTATIONS Oct 26, 2018

Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke are back to bring you Episode 130 of SITREP Radio. This week the lads go through the second Intelligence Annex from the development team of Division 2. In this release the sole focus is the NPC-faction we know from the E3 game trailers, and the playable demo, "True Sons". We learn more about who they are and who their leader is. There is also plenty of lore behind how they came to be a powerful force within Washington D.C. and we also get details of the 10 (ten) character archetypes within this faction (eg a medic with shock pads that can revive down enemy NPCs).
The lads also discuss toxicity within gaming culture and how they'd like to see it handled in the future.

#129: Immersive World Building Oct 19, 2018

Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke present Episode 129 of SITREP Radio which this week focuses on the juicy details Julian Gerighty dished out about Tom Clancy's The Division 2 during UbiDay 2018 in Japan. We had a real good look at the full map during the stream, with the 6 differing environments clearly marked out with beautiful accompanying screen shots. With teasers towards details of new enemy factions being announced in November, and Dark Zone details coming in December, there clearly is much to look forward to during the coming couple of months, so stay tuned.
