#118: The Division 2 Competitive PVP Aug 03, 2018

Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke are back as #TeamSITREP present episode #118 of SITREP Radio. This week the lads have a long, detailed chat about the possibility of Competitive gameplay or modes coming to Tom Clancy's The Division 2. Spoiler : the lads don't completely agree with one another, but a lot of valid points get raised along the way.
There was no State of the Game this week, but with Global Event : Assault in full flow this week we are anticipating a SotG next week with Stats with Yannick, and possibly news on the incoming nerf to Strikers.
As is now a weekly feature, the lads wrap up the show with a couple of questions from their listeners and discord community.

#116: EXPANDING THE WORLD OF THE DIVISION Jul 20, 2018

Show notes

After taking their first ever week off from the show Mike, Rob and Luke are back this week with Episode #116. Not to place the blame at anyone's doorstep or anything but the reason we didn't record last week was because Mike and his lovely wife had their second baby on recording-day last week, so Rob and Luke jumped at the opportunity to take the night off from talking about The Division, and instead played The Division.
Just like in the olden days Hamish and Yannick presented State of the Game this week while Petter is currently away enjoying his summer break. The bearded one and the tattooed one presented us with official news of a brand new Shield being launched today, and in support of that the team have made The Underground paid DLC free for a whole week. That's right, from today (Thursday 19th July until the maintenance on Thursday 26th July) The Underground is free for all. Go enjoy, Agents.
As is now a weekly feature, the lads wrap up the show with a couple of questions from their listeners and discord community.

#115: The Dark Zone Experience Jul 06, 2018

Show notes

This week for Episode #115 Mike, Rob and Luke talk at length about The Dark Zone that the lads know and love, and also speculate as to what The Dark Zone Experience may be like in TCTD2 after Red Storm's Terry Spier put out a couple of tweets asking about peoples love/hate relationship with The Dark Zone.
Petter and Hamish presented State of the Game episode 101 this week, with Yannick away on his holi-bobs somewhere. There wasn't any news, as such, but the guys did say that while there definitely will be a new shield launching this month (July), the in-game counter showing that it is launching in a week may not be completely accurate and that agents should keep their eyes peeled for announcements on this soon. There was a brief round up of news from E3 seeing as this was the first SotG since everyone went to LA for the TCTD2 reveal. There was also plenty of community focus this week too.
The lads quickly wrap up the show with a couple of questions from their listeners and discord community.
As mentioned in the show, the Bullets and Beer Discord link is discord.gg/WUsujr5.

#114: The Division 2 vs Anthem vs Destiny 2 Jun 29, 2018

Show notes

Another week has passed, so that means there is another episode of SITREP Radio for you lovely people to wrap your ears around as Mike, Rob and Luke present episode #114.
Once again there was no SotG this week, so news is a little on the thin side. However, the lads do discuss the audience share that Destiny 2, Anthem and The Division 2 will be vying for shortly and how healthy competition of this sort will almost certainly mean that us, the gamers, will benefit in more ways than one.
In other news, Mike brings #IFM's back this week as he resurrects an old school idea we had many-podcasts ago regarding open-world PvP in The Division.
The lads quickly wrap up the show with a couple of questions from their listeners and discord community.
As mentioned in the show, the Bullets and Beer Discord link is discord.gg/WUsujr5.

#113: OUTBREAK, SURVIVAL, AND MICROTRANSACTIONS Jun 22, 2018

Show notes

SITREP Radio Episode #113 is here and Mike, Rob and Luke go over some of the Tom Clancy's The Division 2 news that has either been updated since last week, or because of the sheer volume of it all coming out of E32018 it was simply missed last time out.
There was no SotG this week, but The Division's twitter account earlier today confirmed that Global Event:Outbreak is being re-run from Monday June 25th for a whole week. So, anyone that missed out on the Classified Gear Sets and the Outbreak masks last time around have a chance to get their hands on them this coming week.

#112: THE DIVISION 2 GETS A MASSIVE REVEAL! Jun 15, 2018

Show notes

SITREP Radio Episode #112 brings news of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 being officially unveiled at E32018, and oh man does it look bloody beautiful. Mike, Rob and Luke are VERY hyped this week, as is to be expected - but the lads do their best to run through everything we have seen and learned from E3.
In other news, update 1.8.2 went live to TCTD1 today, for free, on all platforms. Legendary versions of Madison Field Hospital and General Assembly are now available for all. In addition, "Shields" are now up and running, which give players the chance to unlock exclusive rewards in TCTD2.
The lads quickly wrap up the show with a couple of questions from their listeners and discord community.

#111: UPDATE 1.8.2 ARRIVES & NEW SOTG DIGS Jun 09, 2018

Show notes

SITREP Radio Episode #111 brings news of Update 1.8.2 that is going live to all platforms on June 14th - that's a Thursday again this time around folks, just to try and catch us all out. Mike, Rob and Luke sit down and discuss all the juicy news in a way that only they can.
Petter and Yannick, with a fresh looking studio, presented State of the Game Episode 100 this week and dished out as much news regarding the new update as they were allowed. #TeamSITREP just want to take the time to congratulate Petter, Yannick and Hamish on reaching 100 episodes. A truly impressive feat and one that is very much appreciated by the three of us at SITREP Radio HQ for all the hard work they have put into the broadcasts over the last 2 and a half years.
The lads quickly wrap up the show with a couple of questions from their listeners and discord community.

#110: The Division 2 Wishes Jun 01, 2018

Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke sit down for a detailed discussion of what they want and/or expect from The Division 2 for SITREP Radio Episode #110.
Nothing was off limits so the lads talk about the whole smorgasbord of elements that either already do make up TCTD or could be added into TCTD2. Longer base-story, game location, more missions, differing/dynamic weather mechanics, enemy factions, loot levels and stats, gear sets, the dark zone, PvP in general and anti-cheat - the list could go on and on. The three of them couldn't always agree on the best way to proceed, but one thing they did agree on was they're glad they're not in charge of the direction of the sequel.
The lads quickly wrap up the show with a couple of questions from their listeners and discord community.

Show notes

Team SITREP are back up to full strength this week, so join Mike, Rob and Luke for SITREP Radio Episode #109. The lads talk about Global Event:Onslaught being extended by a few days until Thursday 31st May after a brief maintenance. There is also news of a new author being bought on board to potentially work on The Division 2 and the Chief Executive of Ubisoft admits to lessons they've learned from the first game and gives us snippets of what to expect from the sequel.
There was no State of the Game this week, in fact there won't be one until Thursday 7th June, when the guys bring us Episode 100.
The lads continue their weekly tradition of ending the show with more questions from their listeners and community.
