#158: Title Update 3 & Raid Inbound May 09, 2019

Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke go over all the definitive news surrounding Title Update 3 fresh from the announcement that it will drop on all platforms one day next week. That's right, the PTS is closing and the final tiny tweaks are being put in place ready for the patch to go live. There is also confirmation that the Raid is still on track for release before the end of May, and will be live real soon. However, it will not go live at the exact time of TU3 so that players have a little bit of time to adapt to the plethora of changes that are being implimented.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions and feedback from their Discord server.

#157: Gearsets & PVE Dark Zone? May 01, 2019

Show notes

For Episode 157 of SITREP Radio the lads talk Gear Sets and Dark Zone.
Mike, Rob and Luke talk through the talents that have been data-mined for the next three Gear Sets that are due to drop in The Division 2. Of course, this could all be conjecture at this stage as everything about these Gear Sets is subject to change, but that doesn't stop the lads giving them a good going over and theorising about their potential impact on the game.
There is also a lengthy conversation about whether or not the developers should now relent and give-in to the demands for a PvE-only Dark Zone.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions and feedback from their Discord server.

#156: News on Phase 2 of the PTS Apr 25, 2019

Show notes

SITREP Radio, a podcast that is now officially 3 years old, is back with Episode 156. That's right, 3 full years podcast fans. Thanks for all the support, the laughs and the memories thus far. :)
This week Mike, Rob and Luke discuss the changes that are incoming to the PTS for Phase 2, including Gear Score and Ammo drop changes, Blueprint improvements, and mod system improvements too. The lads also discuss the changes to the Re-calibration system. Stand-by for some weird pie and pizza analogies.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions and feedback from their Discord server. There is also a listener submitted IFM this week.

Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke present Episode #155 of SITREP Radio, which this week focuses on the first wave of changes that are being tested over on the PTS. There are a multitude of tweaks, buffs and nerfs on the first iteration of the PTS which is focused on fine-tuning The Division 2's first balancing pass, so this is a bumper episode of SITREP Radio this week as the lads give their initial thoughts to the eye-catching changes.
There is also news that The Division 2's first raid has been pushed back from it's original release date of April 25th until "May 2019".

#154: Tidal Basin Feedback & A PTS Inbound Apr 11, 2019

Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke bring you Episode #154 of SITREP Radio, which this week focuses on the news that a balancing pass is well in the works and that a P.T.S for this will be going live next week in order to test "Title Update 3" which is due on April 25th. The lads also discuss their opinions on the Tidal Basin stronghold, how enjoyable it was and how difficult it was or should have been.

They also dive into the discussion of the loot grind, particularly the grind to Gear Score 500 in World Tier 5. There is also feedback from their Discord server, as well as the Twitterverse on this subject. #153: BALANCE BEFORE THE BASIN Apr 04, 2019

Show notes

Episode #153 of SITREP Radio focuses on the upcoming release of the Tidal Basin Stronghold within the "Invasion : Battle for D.C." free update this Friday (April 5th). The lads board the hype train in anticipation.
Mike, Rob and Luke also discuss this week's State of the Game broadcast which Fredrik Thylander was a guest co-host of in Hamish's absence. There was much talk of weapon re-balancing, skill changes and also mod re-works. Most of the aforementioned changes met with the lads' approval, but there were certain things that they preferred the previous iteration of. We'd love to know how you feel about them.
Oh, and as a weird side-track the lads start off this week discussing The Matrix. Yep. You read that correctly!

#152: WT5 & TIDAL BASIN ANNOUNCED Mar 27, 2019

Show notes

Enough is enough! We've each bitten our tongues as long as we could, so here is Episode #152 of SITREP Radio, with spoilers galore.
That's right, nothing is off limits this week. If we've seen it or played it or killed it, we're talking about it. This is our review of the game thus far, and our impressions and opinions on everything we've seen up to now. As you would imagine this is quite a long episode this week so we strongly recommend finding a comfortable position and keeping hydrated (nudge nudge wink wink)

#151: A BLOODY GOOD LAUNCH Mar 21, 2019

Show notes

Ok - barely a week in to the official launch of The Division 2 and the lads are back with Episode #151 of SITREPRadio to bring you all the news, hype and initial reaction to the beautiful world of Washington D.C. through the eyes of three agents.
Straight off the bat, we just want to say the Podcast is spoiler free again this week. We will talk about spoilers and stuff and things next week for Episode #152, but for now we are biting our tongues somewhat so that people can enjoy all that Washington D.C. has to offer for themselves. So, as is our usual recommendation - grab a beer [insert alternative alcoholic beverage here] and make yourself comfortable while the lads give their reactions to a thoroughly solid TD2 launch.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with feedback from their Discord server, as well as the Twitterverse.

#150: Launch & First Thoughts Mar 14, 2019

Show notes

Episode #150 of SITREPRadio is here, and so is The Division 2. That's right, the sequel we have been bleating on about for 12 months is now here, and all three of the lads have been living on vastly reduced sleep because of it.
Straight off the bat, we just want to say the Podcast is spoiler free, and will be for at least the next 2 episodes in order to give people to really dive into the nitty-gritty of the game and enjoy all aspects of taking back Washington D.C.
The lads are obviously high on the hype right now, and possibly a little delirious from a lack of sleep, but they do their best to talk in actual sentences and recap the news as best they can. That's right, there was a State of the Game this week, and there will be a Maintenance to fix some very minor issues too.
We hope you're all enjoying The Division 2 as much as us 3 are. It's OUTSTANDING!
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions and feedback from their Discord server, as well as the Twitterverse.

#149: SO MUCH ENDGAME CONTENT! Mar 08, 2019

Show notes

Ok, this is it - the final episode of SITREPRadio before The Division 2 is officially launched. That's right girls and boys, TD2 is nearly upon us. It's fair to say Mike, Rob and Luke are hyped during this weeks' podcast as not only have the 3 of them been enjoying the Open Beta throughout the previous weekend, they've also had a juicy State of the Game to digest.
With plenty of news and details to go through this week courtesy of Trick Dempsey (Senior Game Designer at Massive) appearing on State of the Game this week we recommend you get yourself comfortable and pour a large drink.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions and feedback from their Discord server, as well as the Twitterverse.
