#168: TU5 DROPS NEXT WEEK? Jul 17, 2019

Show notes

Episode 168 is here and so are all three of your hosts this week for the first time in four weeks. With a full compliment of hosts the banter levels are back to their usual heights and the lads do their best to put each other off as often as possible.
This week the lads focus on recapping all the news from the previous couple of weeks surrounding everything we know and can expect with Title Update 5, which is confirmed for release on Tuesday 23rd July. There is also a lengthy, unplanned discussion on the current state of PvP in The Division 2 and how big a task is currently facing the developers over at Red Storm.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions from their Discord server and the Twitterverse.

#167: Episode 1 Next Week with Deadly Skills Jul 11, 2019

Show notes

SITREP Radio is a two-man affair for Episode 167, as it is Mike's turn to swan off on his holidays this week. So Rob takes over the full hosting duties and Luke tries to keep things on-track ("tries" being the key word in that sentence).
The focus of this week's episode is the news of the PTS is now closed and almost all of the final values of skill changes and balancing have been decided upon ahead of Title Update 5 will going live on Tuesday 23rd July. Rather than discussing the plethera of changes one-by-one, Rob and Luke go through the key numbers and give their reactions as they go. The lads also have a brief chat about the incoming, brand new PvE activity "Expeditions". As is usually the case with SRR, this is kept spoiler free for those who were not part of the PTS and are wanting to enjoy the new content for themselves once the update goes live.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions from their Discord server and the Twitterverse.

#166: SKILL BUILDS ARE BACK, RIGHT? Jul 04, 2019

Show notes

With Title Update 5 in full progress, Rob and Mike sit down with a friend of the show BorrietheBlade to discuss their first thoughts on the changes made to skills on the PTS currently. Rob goes into full detail about his time in the new Discovery Difficulty for the Raid: Operation Dark Hours, where he matchmade with 7 other players and tells them how he got on. And finally, discuss the huge buffs coming to Skill haste and Skills themselves in the second phase of the PTS hopefully bringing the skill builds back into the fold.
And finally end the show with a fairly somber farewell to BorrietheBlade as he moves on to his next venture.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions from their Discord server and the Twitterverse.

#165: TU5 GETS MAJOR SKILL CHANGES Jun 27, 2019

Show notes

SITREP Radio is a two-man affair for Episode 165 as Rob is off in Corfu for his honeymoon. Mike and Luke take the opportunity to have a good chat about Skill Builds, Loot and the wider issue of RNG, oh and they pretty much compare everything back to the Dark Hours raid.
There is also news this week of another PTS. That's right, another one. Title Update 5 is apparently only just around the corner (Yep, we know - Title Update 4 only came out last week!) and seeing as the guys over at Massive have completely re-worked how Skills and Skill Power work and scale, they want us to test it out thoroughly before it goes live. There is no exact date for when this new iteration of the PTS will be up and running, other than it will definitely be one day next week - so keep an eye out for an update being pushed to your PTS clients.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions from their Discord server and the Twitterverse.

Show notes

The Division 2 Title Update 4 is here! The Gunner Specialization is here! SITREP Radio Episode 164 is here! That's right folks, Mike, Rob and Luke present to you their weekly round-up of the news and views on all things Tom Clancy's The Division 2.
With TU4 dropping on Tuesday 18th June, the lads go through what's new and how it has impacted them and their builds, as well as what is coming in terms of future maintenance for bug fixing and future Q.O.L updates. The three of them also have a chat about potential Brand Set changes that were hinted at during the latest edition of State of the Game.

#163: E3 BRINGS FUTURE CONTENT DETAILS Jun 13, 2019

Show notes

SITREP Radio Episode 163 is here, presented as always by Mike, Rob and Luke. The lads spend the majority of this weeks episode theorising over what the DLC's will entail fresh from the new trailer that dropped at E3 this week.
In addition to that trailer and some info-graphics on Episodes 1, 2 and 3 that will fill out Year 1's content drops, we had an update on The Division movie that the lads have talked about a few times over the life of the podcast and the games franchise. It was this week announced that Netflix had secured the rights for the movie, with Jake Gyllenhaal, Jessica Chastain and David Leitch all attached. The lads, as is now to be expected with the three of them, got a bit hyped as they discussed what they would like to see from a movie dedicated to their favourite video game.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions from their Discord server.

#162: NEW GUNNER SPEC SOUNDS EPIC Jun 06, 2019

Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke are back with Episode 162 of SITREPRadio. BIG news this week as the three of them (with 5 able team mates, of course) have managed to complete the Dark Hours raid. Three times in fact. So, as you'd expect, the lads start the podcast this week discussing the raid and their overall thoughts on it's appeal, enjoyment and difficulty levels.
Following on from their raid chat there was a State of the Game this week for the lads to discuss. Thylander joined Hamish this week to discuss some of the finer details of Title Update 4 which is now available for testing on the PTS. The stand-out news of this update is Specialisation #4 - "The Gunner". Complete with a Heavy LMG, (aka Rail Gun) this specialisation gives Division 2 players the chance to be a tank while bathing their enemies in bullets. The lads discuss, at length, the TU4 information and speculate as only they can about what some of the "secrets" could mean for the future of the game they love.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions from their Discord server.

#161: AI'S BUST & IT'S ALL DREW’s FAULT May 30, 2019

Show notes

Mike, Rob and Luke are back with Episode 161 of SITREPRadio. This week the lads gloss over the fact that they still haven't bested Razorback, that pesky drone-filled son-of-a-bitch, and concentrate on speculating what Title Update 4 will contain, as well as going over this weeks State of the Game broadcast.
Drew, from the developer team, joined Hamish this week to apologise for the recent AI-bug that came into the game with Title Update 3. He assured the player base that a fix was coming very soon and stated how disappointed and pissed-off the entire AI-team were that this bug found it's way into the game, even after two PTS phases. To be honest, it was refreshing and commendable to see someone sit in front of the camera and apologise for a mistake - not that it was necessary. That kind of upfront interaction is something that should be applauded as-and-when it happens, even encouraged. No-one's perfect, right?!
Oh, and Borrietheblade DOES NOT appear in this week's episode. You're welcome.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions from their Discord server.

#160: KEEP CALM AND RAID May 27, 2019

Show notes

Episode 160 is, unsurprisingly, focused on Operation Dark Hours, the first ever Raid that has graced the Tom Clancy's The Division franchise.
Mike, Rob and Luke have played it. They've lost sleep because of it. Their characters have been bloodied, beaten, bruised and bullied by it. And no, they haven't completed it......yet! The lads spend the majority of this episode giving their reviews and feedback of the raid and its difficulty. Oh, and for the second week running the lads are joined by Borrietheblade.
As is now tradition the lads end the show with questions and feedback from their Discord server.

#159: Matchmaking for the Raid, Whats that? May 16, 2019

Show notes

This weeks episode of the show is a lengthy one some make sure to have a beer, coffee or other beverage of your choice. As we discuss the latest happenings in #TheDivision 2. Give our thoughts on how TU3 has affected our builds and any other bugs or other issues we've seen crop up.
Not only that but the raid is dropping this week and it's now been confirmed that there will not be any matchmaking available at launch. Which has caused quite the stir in the community this week. So of course without Luke on the podcast allowed Mike and Rob to go completely off the rails and discuss comparisons to Destiny raids.
