In this episode of The She Said It First Podcast, hosts Jerrilyn Lake aka Indeskribeabull and Lynee’ Monae discuss a variety of topics, but first Lynee’ and Jerrilyn tell the fans What Irritated Them This Week. Today, Lynee’ traveled to Atlanta, and the ladies are in person and that is part of What Irritated Lynee’. Waking up at 4 AM, putting full make up on and going to the airport. She also had a turbulent plane ride. But What Irritated Jerrilyn, is the visit to the gynecologist. Every time she goes, she knows what is going to happen, but still wants to fight that lady.

The Pop the Ballon Show has come to Netflix, and Jerrilyn and Lynee’ have expressed their displeasure about how the show was overly produced. They spoke about how it was done on YouTube and was for us, and by us, it had a certain appeal. It seems now when big business has come along it has become what some say is white-washed. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ then spoke about the owner of Slutty Vegan, Pinky Cole, having to buy her business back after she lost control. They spoke about keeping the right people around you.

Jerrilyn and Lynee’ spoke about the sensitive story of teenagers Karmelo Anthony and Austin Metcalf in Frisco, TX. Karmelo Anthony was being bullied by Austin Metcalf and his twin brother and Anthony stabbed Austin in the chest, ending his life, as reported by various news outlets. Karmelo Anthony is now in prison being charged with murder. Lynee’ and Jerrilyn wondered why young children cannot just fight and not resort to weapons. Also, when in relationships, when is it okay to pillow talk. But when does pillow talking cross the line.

Jerrilyn is irritated that men are not washing their ass. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ discuss Donald Trump’s new tariffs that he enacted. Lynee and Jerrilyn discuss how these tariffs are affecting the country and people’s pockets, including the MAGA supporters. And sorry to say but we tried to tell y’all.

Jerrilyn and Lynee then speak about Raven Symone and her conversation with Jason Lee and her wife. Raven and Jason Lee were talking about Raven’s comments she made about not being African American. Jerrilyn and Lynee understood where she was coming from but thought that some things in her comments were not accurate. Also, former and our forever President Barack Obama spoke about being in a deficit with his wife, Michelle Obama, after eight years in the White House. Lynee and Jerrilyn talk about being able to be with a man that has very little time to be attentive in the relationship due to their job.

Never Would Have Paid It | Episode 47 Apr 03, 2025

In this episode of The She Said It First Podcast, hosts Jerrilyn Lake aka Indeskribeabull and Lynee’ Monae discuss a variety of topics, but first Lynee’ and Jerrilyn tell the fans What Irritated Them This Week. Lynee’ is irritated that people think they cannot have an opinion about services they paid for. After Jerrilyn and Lynee’ the people know what irritated them, they spoke about Bishop Marvin Sapp telling the ushers in the church to shut the doors and not to let the congregation out until they raise $40,000. Now, Bishop Sapp has tried to explain himself but Jerrilyn and Lynee’ do not feel that it was sufficient enough of an apology. Lynee’ and Jerrilyn also spoke about rapper YG’s new song, 2004. In the song, YG talks about how he was raped by a woman twice his age. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ talked about how important it is for men to talk about their trauma and how it could influence their relationships.

Speaking of men, black men in particular, Toure is upset that black men are not going to college. Toure is saying that the college attendance of black men has dropped over recent years. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ discuss rather if college is the right move for people and black men and women are finding alternatives for their careers. Also, Lynee’ and Jerrilyn spoke about the difference between sex and intimacy and the importance of it in their relationships.

This week, Jerrilyn is what irritated Lynee’ Monae. Jerrilyn and her trip to Columbia with her family is what set Lynee’ off because all of the fun Jerrilyn was having without her. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ then switched their attention to Jess Hilarious and The Breakfast Club. Jess Hilarious was not happy about what has been happening on The Breakfast Club since she returned from maternity leave. Jess believes that Loren LaRosa was not supposed to be a fourth mic on the show and and does not want to fight for speaking time. Well Jess went to IG Live and let everyone know how she felt and then went to work the next day like nothing happened.

Speaking of The Breakfast Club, Phylicia Rashad made a visit to the show and spoke about the young women today dressing too revealing and not leaving anything to imagination of men. While Jerrilyn and Lynee respect Ms. Phylicia Rashad, they did not agree with what she had to say about the way women dress. The host also spoke about Target dropping many Black owned vendors in their store due to their diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and Tabitha Brown’s response. Tabitha Brown has come under scrutiny about not boycotting Target but now it seems like she may be on the chopping block as well in Target. Also, are you having sex on the first date. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ discuss their position on sex on the first date.

Jerrilyn and Lynee’ furthered their discussion about ex-En Vogue member Dawn Robinson living in her car for the past three years. They also spoke about people who purposefully lie on people about crimes. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ speak about their feelings on what should happen to people who lie. Also, Normami got engaged to her NFL boyfriend. DK Metcalf. They were introduced to each other by Ciara and their love blossomed from there. Why are people not hooking their friends up anymore?
