    In this episode of The She Said It First Podcast, hosts Jerrilyn Lake aka Indeskribeabull and Lynee’ Monae discuss a variety of topics, but first Lynee’ and Jerrilyn tell the fans What Irritated Them This Week. Lynee’ has a message for all of the unpretty people that are commenting in her DMs, don’t. After telling the people what irritated them this week, they got into Dr. Umar Johnson and the possibility of him being a deadbeat dad. A 22-year-old woman claims that Dr. Umar is her father and that he has never been in her life. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ speak about Dr. Umar speaking up for the black community but not living what he preaches by not taking care of his children.

    At Southern University, 20-year-old Caleb Wilson passed away due to hazing while pledging Omega Psi Phi. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ discussed the issues with the Divine 9 fraternities and sororities at HBCUs losing their way. The host spoke about brotherhood and sisterhood should not be determined by hitting each other. They also spoke about rapper Doechii and how she thinks that straight men are a red flag to her. Lynee’ and Jerrilyn talked about the patriarchy being the issue, not straight men. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ also talked about dating and when is the right time for you to pay bills in a relationship.

The host describe how they felt when they saw the black people in The White House smiling for someone who wants to strip them of rights. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ also talk about former NFL wide receiver, Steve Smith Sr getting caught by the husband of the woman he is sleeping with. They ask the question if you would put your partner on social media if you found out they were cheating on you. Also, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ spoke about Keke Palmer’s acceptance speech at the NAACP Image Awards for Entertainer of the Year. They spoke about being celebrated among the people who love you and not asking for a seat at the table when you have already created your own table.

The Super Bowl was this past Sunday, and the Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes were not the only ones that lost that day. Drake suffered his biggest L from Kendrick Lamar as he performed during the Super Bowl halftime show. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ spoke about how much they enjoyed Kendrick’s show, and they wondered if Drake needs a wellness check. They also spoke about Kanye West going on another Twitter rant. They speak about how Kanye West has fallen from grace and that he is being hateful.

    Jerrilyn and Lynee’ also talk about leaving the United States to live in another country. Leaving America has become a topic of discussion because of all of the changes happening in this country. And this Friday is Valentine’s Day. With both women being single, they are finding other ways to express and show love to the people that are dearest to them. Also, with being Black History Month, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ gave a Black History Moment.
