    Ricky B: F*ck Cancer—Breakdown to Breakthrough Aug 28, 2020
    Show notes

Checking himself into a psych ward with 29 years of sobriety was the last thing Ricky B. thought he would do. But after an aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis, he found the distant darkness that had plagued him in the past snuck back in. And the only option that made sense was to take his life. Yet he kept that all to himself. Yet another example that people are facing their own battles all the time, even if it isn't obvious. Ricky shares his heart-wrenching story as he turns his life around, identifies past resentments, and like a phoenix out of the ashes, finds true peace and serenity once again.

Brittany Ishibashi: I Hate Being a Mom Sometimes Aug 25, 2020
    Show notes

Brittany Ishibashi and Brianne share their stories of struggling with postpartum, trying to be the perfect mom and finding time for self-care in times of quarantine. The two swap hilarious stories of fantasizing about just walking out the door (with their masks on of course), only to have their child do something insanely adorable, reminding them why it’s all worth it.

    ______

Brittany currently stars as Tina Minoru in Marvel’s hit show “Runaways” on Hulu. She recently played another iconic villain, Karai, in Paramount’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows,” a sequel to the summer 2014 blockbuster. When she’s not on set, Brittany can be found training in Tae Kwon Do (she’s a black belt). She also loves to spend time with her family and currently lives in the LA area with her husband Jeff and their children, Kai and Lilia.

Britt Rentschler: DIY Beauty Fails Aug 11, 2020
    Show notes

Britt Rentschler shares her hilarious stories about the ridiculous things women do to their bodies in an attempt to look effortlessly beautiful. Britt is an American actress best known for her role as ‘Linda’ in the Paramount Picture's comedy, “Instant Family” opposite Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne. Britt’s first recurring TV role was on the TBS show “The Detour,” appearing with Jason Jones, which she says was one of the highlights of her career. She continued on to book recurring roles on some of the hottest shows in televisionincluding AMC’s "Lodge 49", FOX’s “Shots Fired,” A&E’s “Daytime Divas,” TNT’s “Good Behavior,” and mostly recently FOX’s “The Resident.” Britt has also guest starred on hit shows such as CBS’ “NCIS LA,” A&E’s “Drop Dead Diva,” ABC’s “Castle and Spike TV’s “1000 Ways to Die.”
Britt moved to Los Angeles eight years ago to pursue television and film, after finding success in theater. From an early age, she knew she was meant to be in the arts, and started out performing in musicals and plays. Continuing on that path led her to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham on both an academic and theater scholarship, which was immediately followed by receiving a Master of
Fine Arts from the University of Central Florida. While finishing her last year of hermaster’s program, Britt did a residency at the Orlando Shakespeare Theater, which further fueled her passion for performing. During her time in Los Angeles, Britt has expanded into directing, producing, and writing, and her films have found wonderful homes on the independent film festival circuit.
When not acting, Britt loves traveling, exploring outdoors, and is an avid lover of live music and festivals. She is also a Reiki Master, and practices many forms of the healing arts. She is a volunteer with Young Storytellers, an active member of MENSA and Women in Film, and since her role in Instant Family, she is also passionate about adoption and foster care.
