He said that the United States Government was activiely reverse-engineering an alien spacecraft in a mysterious facility called s_4 close to Groom Lake in Nevada. A Man Named “Bob”Born on January 26, 1959, Robert Scott Lazar grew up in Coral Gables, Florida. From Florida, the family moved to New York where Lazar got his first interest in science and engineering when he became neighbors with rocket designer named Eugene Gluhareff. From a young age, Lazar’s penchant for pyrotechnics and loud things that go boom were evident. His mother recalled being startled once after hearing a loud bang outside and discovered Bob had installed a rocket engine on his bike. An often-reprinted photo of young Bob in 1977 while he lived in Woodland Hills, California, shows him on that bike with a rocket engine by Gluhareff strapped on it. You can even find photos and videos of Lazar when he was younger testing his jet bike and later, showing off his jet car. In 1980, he married Carol Strong in California and the couple later moved to Los Alamos in Vegas. While there, Lazar set up his photo processing business. Around the same time, he worked on a limited contract job for Kirk-Mayer, one of the few smaller contractors who supplied personnel to the Los Alamos National Lab. The company only worked on supplying small-time personnel like fabricators, electronic technicians, and machinists. Since Lazar had some technical knowledge from studying at Pierce College, he was hired as an electronics tech by Kirk-Mayer. Several people who worked alongside him at the time described Bob as a “clever, fix-it guy.” He was regularly seen at work handling problems with computers and doing technical repairs to a point he was listed in the Los Alamos National Lab phonebook. His name showed up with the denotation “K/M” signifying he was employed by Kirk-Mayer.Support the show

While funny, there might some truth to this, especially when it comes to some of the more mysterious creatures in the country. The next five cases feature animals too unusual to believe and yet, they did exist. These are 5 Scary Australian Creatures That Actually Exist. 5. Drop BearKoalas are known for being adorable creatures. They hang out on trees all day, have cute joeys and eat Eucalyptus - nothing about them speaks ruthless or evil. But according to some people, there are actually vicious versions of the Koala, known as the Drop Bear. 4. MegalaniaPrehistoric Australia isn’t something you want to wander into. While real-life Komodo Dragons of today are still vicious but relatively smaller, once upon a time, a supersized version of this creature once roamed Australia. First described by Sir Richard Owen in 1859, the Megalania thrived in Eastern Australia. Officially called the Megalania Prisca, it grew up to 5-7 meters long and had a weird crest and snout. Its teeth were sharp and recurved. It’s believed to have wrinkled and infolded enamel too. One unusual characteristic of the creature was the osteoderms or small bones embedded on its skin around the neck and snout. 3. BunyipThere’s never a shortage of water monsters in Australia but one ferocious creature lives a dual life of quiet herbivore and vicious predator - the Bunyip. While many believe the Bunyip to be a mythical creature, there are those that say the creature actually once roamed Australia. 2. Euroa BeastAurora is a small town in Victoria just at the foot of the Strathbogie Ranges. It features a miniature railway, tourist drives, and a gorgeous waterfall. But during the 1890s, the small town was living in fear of an unusual creature that roamed the area. The first account of the Euroa Beast was published in The Brisbane Courier on February 28 and again on March 1, 1890. 1. ThylacineKnown as the Tasmanian Tiger, the last known Thylacine to have existed died in Hobart Zoo around 1936. But many are saying it’s possible there are some who might have survived in the wild. More than 80 years later, countless reports of dog-like animals, that aren’t foxes or dingoes, have been sighted over mainland Australia.Support the show

For this week, the story focuses on the story of Herbert Schirmer and his unusual UFO encounter as well as the infamous top-secret government organization dubbed as Project Blue Book. These are your Twisted Two's.#1 Herbert SchirmerAt 22-years old, policeman Herbert Schirmer from Ashland, Nebraska experienced one of the most bizarre encounters of his life. The young police officer was on patrol on December 3, 1976. While driving his patrol car, he saw what looked to be a large truck with red lights flashing on the top. He had just finished checking things off on Highway 6 and was now on the intersection of highways 6 and 63 when he spotted the lights. Like any officer, he was curious what it was and headed over to take a closer look. He moved down to Highway 63. He came to a stop, then trailed his headlights down to the large “truck,” only, it wasn’t a truck at all. According to the officer, the red lights he saw was coming from what he described as “portholes” from a disc-shaped, metallic craft. #2 Project Blue BookThe infamous Project Blue Book had two goals. One was to figure out if UFOs were a threat to national security and two, to scientifically analyze any UFO-related data when they get a hold of it.First formed in 1952, it was the successor to previous government programs, Sign (1947) and Grudge (1949). These two programs also studied UFOs but to a lesser extent than Project Blue Book. It was June 24, 1947, when businessman and pilot, Kenneth Arnold was flying his small plane from Chehalis, Washington to Yakima, Washington. During his flight, he made a brief detour after finding out there was a reward for the discovery of a downed transport plane close to Mount Rainier. Once there, he tried searching for the plane for a bit, but with no luck, he decided to give up. Arnold flew eastward, heading to his destination in Yakima when he caught sight of a bright flashing light in the distance.Support the show

But what makes the ancient artwork at Sego Canyon so unique is it features unusual-looking figures that some say are creatures not from this world. Sego Canyon petroglyphs and pictographs were created by several cultures over a span of 8,000 years. The images depict large beings or creatures with haunting hollow or large eyes. Most with no arms or legs, sometimes with antennae or a halo around them.2. Rock Drawings in Val CamonicaKnown for having the largest collection of rock drawings in the world, Val Camonica contains over 250,000 petroglyphs spread over 6 locations in the valley of the Italian Alps. Specifically located in the Province of Brescia, Italy, the collection of rock drawings was recognized as the first Italian World Heritage Site in 1979. It was initially believed to contain over 140,000 drawings of symbols and figures created by ancient man from as far back as 8,000 B.C. But over time, more and more images and drawings have been cataloged and it now numbers over 250,000. The drawings are spread out in these areas: Darfo Boario Terme, Nadro, Paspardo, Capo di Ponte and Cimbergo. 1. Tassili n’Ajjer Paintings Located in Southern Algeria, the Tassili n’Ajjer is a large and vast desert plateau that runs between the regions of Niger and Libya. The entire region covers 72,000 square kilometers. For thousands of years, the climate in the area, coupled with extreme erosion, has left behind amazing geological features that include stunning stone pillars, beautiful natural arches, and deep canyons.Support the show

For this week, the story focuses on a man named Milo and the Lake City Quiet Pills and the unusual Tinsley Park UFO sightings. These are your Twisted Two's.Lake City Quiet Pills It started with a simple post on Reddit. It was 2009 and a grieving friend created a Reddit account to announce the passing of “Milo”, also a fellow Redditor, that went by the username, “ReligionOfPeace.” The lamenter, known by the username 2-6, lamented how Milo was 79 years old and how he was a “mean old fucker.” The poster went on to say he was cremating his friend’s remains and scattering the ashes in an area in PA close to where he was born – a barn where he used to live in. He adds notes on what he did to the rest of his friend’s belongings and closing with how he’ll miss his friend. Tinley Park UFOIt was August 21, 2004, the residents of Tinley Park, Illinois thought it was going to be just another regular evening. But as the night went on, they would witness an unusual sight many would be unable to explain. Considered as one of the most well-documented UFO reports in history, the Tinley Park Lights stem from sightings by hundreds of people on that quiet night of August. Three red lights suddenly showed up above the town and hovered there, silently and menacingly for close to 20-30 minutes.Townsfolks photographed the lights. Some gathered in droves, hoping to catch a glimpse of the bizarre phenomenon.Support the show

Frances WorthingtonOn January 1, 1996, 76-year old, Frances Worthington from Knoxville, Tennessee was found dead inside her home. That morning, Frances’ son, Mike, phoned her to check on his mother. When she didn’t answer the calls, he decided to head to her home and check. Once his son got there. He found something disturbing. Police said it was an unusual crime scene. Items were found scattered in the house, flour and sugar were thrown on the floor, in what seemed like an attempt by the intruder to find hidden valuables. 3. Hannah WilliamsBenson Williams called 911 in a panic. He said his daughter, 17-year old Hannah Williams was missing. He said his daughter drove off with a rental car and was taking anti-depressants. The dispatcher asked if he was concerned Hannah might harm herself, her father responded, “I am.” 2. Bumble Bee Road MurdersFor a young Scottsdale, Arizona couple, it was supposed to be a happy day. It was their first anniversary and they celebrated it by going on a camping trip to Sunset Point, just off Bumble Bee Road - only, the couple never came back alive. 1. Jerry “Mike” BaylesOn October 3, 1970, 11-year old Jerry “Mike” Bayles, took his brother’s paper route and cruised the morning streets of his neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kelly was seen talking to other customers at the bar and left around 7:10 P.M. After he left, he was never seen again. 4. Sam ToddSamuel Todd and his brother, Adam, decided to greet the New Year’s Eve of 1984 by attending several parties around Manhattan, New York. After jumping from one party to the next, at 1:30 A.M., Sam and a group of friends went to another party at 271 Mulberry Street. By this time, Samuel Todd was intoxicated and complained that his head was spinning. 3. Katrin KonertLike any 15-year old, Katrin Konert from Waddewitz, Germany, had her secrets. For her, it was a secret older boyfriend named Joachim. The man was twice her age, late 20s. Although she never told her parents about her boyfriend, his sisters and friends did know about him. 2. Benjamin CoffeyOn New Year’s Day of 2012, Benjamin Coffey attended a gathering with friends to celebrate the New Year at Gloucester, Virginia. He spoke to a friend around dinner time and soon after, told a friend he was going home because he was tired. The following day, Virginia State Police discovered Benjamin’s abandoned van at Tappahannock, Virginia - an hour away from where he was last seen. 1. Ben Smart and Olivia HopeTo welcome the New Year of 1998, young couple Olivia Hope (17) and Ben Smart (21), headed to Marlborough Sound in New Zealand to party. The museum alarm was still tipped off at 4:59 A.M. Within 5 minutes the police were at the scene but the thieves were gone. 4. Chemistry Professors Arrested In a case of life imitating art, two chemistry professors in Arkansas were arrested for allegedly running a meth lab. Bradley Allen Rowland (40) and Terry David Bateman (45) both worked for the Henderson State University and were taken into police custody on November 15. 3. Mysterious Howls in OntarioFor Gino Meekis, a 39-year old Canadian native living in the Sioux Lookout, it was an ordinary hunting day with his wife and grandson on October 3, 2019. Everything seemed fine. They hiked for 10-15 minutes, walked down looking for grouse. Then they turned around and started walking back to their vehicle. And that’s when they heard it. 2. The Confession Killer“I’ve killed them every way except poison.” Those are the chilling words of a man who claimed to have killed over 600 people. Serial killer Henry Lee Lucas shot to notoriety when he was arrested in the 80s for killing his mother and two others in Texas. During his trial, he offhandedly remarked about killing “100 of ‘em” and soon, local Georgetown police wanted to find out more. 1. 1984 Life on Mars FoundFor a long time, people have been speculating whether life on Mars is possible. But apparently, if this CIA document is real, it’s possible there could be one millions of years ago. A mysterious CIA document that sat declassified for years recently caught the attention of curious aliens and conspiracy enthusiasts. Stephanie Parze It was just a girl’s night out with friends and family for 25-year old, Stephanie Parze from New Jersey. On October 30, 2019, she attended a psychic event and saw a medium in New Brunswick. Afterward, she drove to Freehold, in her late grandmother’s home, where she had been living since 2018. 3. Danny FilippidisFor firefighter Danny Filippidis, 6 whole days of his life was a blur. On February 7, 2018, the Toronto firefighter was on a ski trip with friends and co-workers at Whiteface Mountain ski resort in Wilmington, New York. It was around 2:00 P.M., most Danny’s friends had decided they were done for the day and returned to the lodge. But Danny still wanted to go on one last run, so he did. 2. Damian McKenzie It was September 4, 1974, 10 -year old Damian McKenzie was attending a youth camp in the mountains of Victoria, Australia. The camp was run by the Young Australia League and was meant to be a 5-day outdoor trip where students could go hiking and engage in various outdoor activities. Every step of the trip was supervised and the children were always kept within sight. 1. Kathryn Ott It was 2014 when 56-year old, Kathryn Ott vanished. Unlike previous cases, Kathryn's disappearance is out of her own will. She’s described as being 5’3” tall and about 120-140 pounds.
