In part one of their 2019 special, Charlie and George take a look back at an eclectic mix of films released over the last 12 months.

Unlike the usual Retro Ramble reviews, these reviews are spoiler-free and only feature a quantum of bad impressions. The boy have pulled the Nam file, to discuss the Richard Donner buddy-cop classic, that would spawn a franchise, TV series and several imitators.
Along the way, the boys discuss star chemistry, (Shane) Black humour, mullets and how many times the word "crazy" is said.

In this Halloween special, the Brothers McGhee travel to the beach town of Santa Carla in search of The Lost Boys.
Charlie and George revisit Joel Schumacher's 1980's classic horror-comedy to discuss the brief phenomenon that was The Two Coreys, some marvellous mullets and a jukebox soundtrack featuring some sweaty sax!

Did we mention the sweaty sax guy?!To celebrate the release of Rambo: Last Blood, this month's episode, sees Charlie and George go back to the beginning to discuss First Blood! They chart the film's journey from page to screen which led to the creation of a classic 80s action hero.
Along the way, they discuss Stallone's key input to the film, it's stellar performances from its supporting cast and of course the sublime score from Jerry Goldsmith.

In this month's episode, Charlie and George visit the gritty suburbs of Old Detroit to discuss the future of law enforcement, Robocop! This time, they've got company as they are joined by Ben from TopFilmTip!
During the episode the three delve into director Paul Verhoeven's scathing satirical sci-fi to discuss lovable villains, robo-resurrections and the correct way to start a petrol explosion (though we strongly advise against doing so).
As usual, there'll be some standard production chat around the creation of the iconic Robocop suit, a brief Coulda Woulda Shoulda and some very Suspicious Spin-Offs. We'll buy that for a dollar!
