The Last of Us Online Cancelled - What Now? Dec 19, 2023

Seeing The Last of Us Online cancelled has me asking, what now? Those waiting for The Last of Us Factions 2 will not get it as the Naughty Dog new game is officially canceled. The Last of Us Part 2 Factions was removed from the game in 2019 and they hoped to launch it as its own game, but that is not happening now. While we never got to see any of The Last of Us Online gameplay an image leaked of the main screen and some have called for Naughty Dog to just release the game and let folks play. While this seems related to the PlayStation live service games push, the timeline actually looks like something the developers initiated and ultimately ended. The Last of Us Part I is a 2022 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. A remake of the 2013 game The Last of Us, it features revised gameplay, including enhanced combat and exploration, and expanded accessibility options. The Last of Us Part II is a 2020 action-adventure game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The Blade game trailer reaction has been almost universally positive, but the question remains is this an Xbox exclusive or not? Marvel's Blade game is being made by Arkane Lyon but there has been no mention of Xbox or Xbox Game Pass. The official Xbox twitter account finally said something but we still don't have a clear answer. I posted my own poll about the Blade Xbox exclusive question and the results were pretty mixed. I also want to look at the various theories about what is going on with this game and the Xbox ownership. Light No Fire Trailer Reaction - The Next Big Game Dec 14, 2023

My Light No Fire trailer reaction was incredibly positive and I think this is the next big game from Hello Games, the studio behind No Man's Sky. The Light No Fire gameplay is very reminiscent of No Man's Sky gameplay in 2023. The Sean Murray Game Awards appearance and announcement also seemed to take aim at Starfield. I also want to look at the Light No Fire reaction from other gamers. Some think that they can't trust Hello Games after the NMS release. And while we wait for the Light No Fire release date I want to talk about why I think this game will be massive and why I trust the developers. Light No Fire is a game about adventure, building, survival and exploration together. Set on a fantasy planet the size of Earth, it brings the depth of a role playing game to the freedom of a survival sandbox. My God of War Ragnarok Valhalla reaction was initial excitement but then curiosity about the growing trend of more rogue modes. I will be diving into God of War Ragnarok Valhalla gameplay in a second stream so be sure to check that out. I will try to provide my own ongoing God of war Ragnarok Valhalla review as I play it. But the larger discussion I want to have is about the growing use of rogue modes in games. Even The Last of Us Part 2 Remaster is coming with a brand new rogue mode. Is this a good thing? And why are companies doing it? I am pumped to dive into God of War Valhalla later today to see if it delivers. Hellblade 2 Gameplay Looks Bad? Dec 12, 2023

Some are saying that the latest Hellblade 2 gameplay trailer looks bad and I completely disagree. While I have to admit to being a huge fan of Hellblade 1, it really feels that folks are being overly critical. My Hellblade 2 trailer reaction has been really positive every step of the way. Another Hellblade 2 reaction was with respect to the release date. The Hellblade 2 Game Awards 2023 appearance is the first time we have seen what looks like extensive raw gameplay, but it was highly edited and the environments were dark. But the Hellblade 2 release date was absent as it simply said 2024 at the end, so some are concerned it may get delayed. As an Xbox exclusive this game could really cement the power of the Xbox Series X. Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Ninja Theory and published Xbox Game Studios. It is the sequel to Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice. The game is scheduled to be released in 2024 for Windows and Xbox Series X/S. Is there a Bungie Sony takeover coming in the future? According to a new report from IGN alleges that if Destiny 2 Final Shape doesn't sell well enough that PlayStation will dissolve the Bungie board and take over. Seeing Destiny 2 The Final Shape delayed along with the Destiny 2 Starter Pack controversy has many thinking a Sony Bungie takeover would be better for the game. Others are viewing this as a PlayStation problem becaues this happened on Jim Ryan's watch. Bungie, Inc. is an American video game company based in Bellevue, Washington, and a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment. My GTA 6 trailer reaction will be part of this video along with a discussion about the GTA 6 leak that forced Rockstar to publish the Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer early. It also seems to be the first of many trailers as it is called Grand Theft Auto VI trailer 1 on their official channel. Did the GTA 6 leaked trailer ruin the moment for the community and company? Also the GTA 6 release date is causing some to be critical given that it is 2025 and not next year. Grand Theft Auto VI is an upcoming action-adventure game in development by Rockstar Games. If you look at the Lies of P reviews overall and compare it to the steam score and its score on the PS5 you might be confused. The lack of a Lies of P game of the year nomination has many fans confused in light of how well it is scoring with users. My experience with Lies of P gameplay was quite positive and I could see it winning art direction at The Game Awards 2023. But I want to look at the Lies of P metacritic and open critic scores versus the user scores while also look at the Xbox Game Pass effect on the score in the Xbox store. Did this game get unfair treatment by the critics and miss out on more Game Awards nominations?
