In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, former FBI Director James Comey was indicted Tuesday over a photo of seashells officials said threatened President Trump marking the administration’s second attempt to prosecute one of his biggest political opponents. The charges approved by a grand jury in the Eastern District of North Carolina where Comey allegedly took the photo include making a threat against the President and transmitting a threat in interstate commerce, according to court documents.

Also Eric has a close call with severe weather in Texas, Republicans should talk less about the White House Ballroom and more about consumer prices, President Trump is in for the long-haul on the Iranian ship blockade, a look at oil export numbers and speculating on a possible uprising in Iran to end the war.

Chatter about the 2028 election is underway as potential candidates test their message, even though the first votes will not be cast in the primaries until early 2028. The poll signals that Harris would have an early lead for the Democratic nomination.

What started as a discussion on trans in sports eventually turned into a war of words with Cross acting as an elitist expert on this subject because his 8-year-old daughter has two trans friends at school, including one who turned trans at age 3.

In part one of Red Eye Radio with Gary McNamara and Eric Harley, former President Barack Obama chimes in on social media saying the motive behind the shooting outside the White House Correspondents’ Dinner remains unclear, even as investigators review writings from the suspect outlining plans to target President Trump and members of his administration. DC Police have identified the suspect as 31-year-old Cole Allen of California, who allegedly opened fire at the Washington Hilton during the annual event attended by Trump and senior administration officials. Federal law enforcement officials confirmed to Fox News Digital that after Allen’s arrest, he said he intended to target Trump administration officials and had prepared a manifesto detailing his intent, while also sharing anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric on social media.

Also security for the President comes back into question with now three assassination attempts on his life and the killing of Charlie Kirk, audio from the President calling for unity as a nation, the noble Secret Security Agents quick action yet having not been paid for over 70 days, Eric thanks listeners for condolences on the passing of his brother, the tornado outbreaks in North Texas over the weekend, audio from President Trump on 60 Minutes responding to a question of the WHCD shooting being a conspiracy and renewed support for a safer White House Ballroom.
