Henry Winkler joined me for a special VIDEO episode of Really Famous. (Catch it at YouTube.com/ReallyFamous.)

I realize you may not be into that, so today I'm running it as a podcast episode. It's shorter than usual, and doesn't meander the way I like my podcast conversations to, so I paired it with my Marion Ross conversation from earlier this year, for a more satisfying experience!

Christopher Knight. Sep 30, 2019

Yes, it's Peter Brady!

From The Brady Bunch.

I met Chris at his beautiful beach home in Southern California (check it out here).

I met his wife, Cara, and his cat, Titus. Then Chris and I sat down for a long time. He told me about how he got into show business, how the Brady Bunch environment saved him, in a way, from his not-so-perfect home life, and why his relationship with Kara is evidence that he's now in a healthy place.

And yes, he shares tons of behind-the-scenes Brady Bunch scoop! Like who provoked who. And what REALLY happened between Barry Williams and Florence Henderson.

You'll hear about:

Why his dad wanted him to audition for The Brady Bunch
Why his mom didn't like the show
Robert Reed's disappointment
Issues with his mom
Growing up in the Valley
Why and how he made Maureen McCormick cry
Why he deserted acting
Australia
Mike Lookinland and Utah
Being a leaf in the river
His marriages
How his real family and his Brady family conflicted
Major life lessons
Reality TV (The Surreal Life and My Fair Brady) and why he did it

Danny Aiello Part 2 - cliffhanger revealed! Sep 23, 2019

Show notes

Last episode's cliffhanger re: Marlon Brando is now resolved. Get ready. But that's NOT ALL. There's a very surprising story (to me, at least) in this part of our talk.

Don't forget about Danny's a brand-new film from Deirdre O'Connor called One Moment (coming soon!).

Danny and I talk + talk + talk ... about things like:

Leonardo DiCaprio
Spike Lee
James Gandolfini
Martin Scorsese
Robert De Niro
Marlon Brando
Bradley Cooper
Harvey Keitel
Tim Roth
Samuel L. Jackson
Social media
Why he can't take a compliment
Regrets
Insecurities
Family

I analyze him. He says, "You're my new therapist!"

He calls me things like "kid," "babe," and "honey" and I absolutely love it. We're buddies. It's like we've known each other all our lives.

Enjoy Part 2 with my friend Danny Aiello!
