    Episode 18 - RAD pROBcast - Christina, Danielle & Al Oct 29, 2021
    Show notes

My wife Christina joins me once again along with our friends Al and Danielle as we navigate the challenges of getting multiple couples together for Thanksgiving in a neutral location. Who gets what room? What do we serve? Who’s making breakfast and when? From there we dive into toxic masculinity, how Christina almost got into a fight at Aftershock, why you’ll see Al on TV this winter, and Maestro the German Shepherd is nice enough to interrupt and disrupt towards the end as well.

    Episode 175 - RAD Prodcast - A Haunting at Von Zeplin Manor with SPIRIT & Sircles - Part 1 Oct 27, 2021
    Show notes

This week marks the 4 year anniversary for the RAD Prodcast. Thank you for all of your support in what seems to be a companion piece to my life in many ways. With all of the ups and downs that have occurred in the last 4 years, I can honestly call the Prodcast a mainstay in my evolution as a human but also as a broadcaster. It’s because of the amazing team I’m surrounded by that I’m even able to do what I do today, but I would be remiss if I did not recognize all of the love and support that you have provided as this platform has been a raw glimpse at my evolution. I will forever be grateful for the moments of growth and evolution you’ve shared with me, and by sharing pieces of myself through these now 175 episodes of the Prodcast, I’m grateful for the opportunity to have helped someone in some way. Even if that means a moment of positivity or a light to guide you of a dark place.

In honor of this momentous occasion, I’ve embarked on an ambitious journey with Erik Carlson, the Sircles Squad Manager and my friends and family at Sac SPIRIT to bring to you a 3-episode event.

Rennzo Von Zeplin is a hair stylist/barber in the Sacramento region, and is the owner and operator of Von Zeplin Ultra Salon in Rancho Cordova

Erik Carlson, who I mentioned is the Sircles Squad Manager

Just as a reminder, Sircles (with an S) provides a fun and intuitive way to find the entertainment and places your friends love– Squad Manager, connected with Von Zeplin on a Sircles scouting mission and a mysterious opportunity arose. You cand download the app from your app store by searching for Sircles (with an S) or by visiting Sircles.com that’s S-I-R-C-L-E-S.com

This mystery turned out to be a massive opportunity to collaborate with the Sacramento Paranormal Intuitive Research Investigation Team (AKA SacSpirit at SacSpirit.com) to investigate the paranormal activity occurring at Rennzo Residence, Von Zeplin Manor, which happens to be a 105-year-old house nestled in the foothills of California, right in the epicenter of California history that helped shape the country we live in today.

Melissa & Brent, paranormal investigators and now newlyweds, from SacSPIRIT.com were enlisted to help get some answers to the paranormal activity at Von Zeplin Manor and that investigation will be covered in the following two episodes.

The RAD Prodcast presents … A Haunting At Von Zeplin Manor with SacSPIRIT and Sircles

Part 1 – I team up with Brent from SPIRIT along with Erik from Sircles to meet Rennzo at Von Zeplin Ultra Salon to get to know Rennzo and also discuss the paranormal activity that has been taking place at Von Zeplin Manor. We also discuss how this house may have been trying to interfere with our team’s ability to actually allow the investigation to take place. After some initial research is unearthed, the mystery only gets deeper.

    Rob's Soapbox - Everything We Missed Oct 24, 2021
    Show notes

I was torn this week…on one hand, so many of you depend on RAD radio to stay informed; that responsibility falls on me. I’m the “news watcher,” of the show and it’s my job to keep up with all that’s going on, decide what matters to most, and then translate it into something interesting and relatable. Sadly, one of the roles of the show is to also sift through the misreporting of both the mainstream and conservative media and bring you the actual truth of any given story as well! And there’s been a ton of news over the last 10 days that needed such attention. On the other hand, it’s also the show’s role to offer an escape through humor, silliness, and real-life, day-to-day topics that don’t show up in or on the news, but rather come up on a regular basis in the homes of our listeners.

I’ve always said that we talk about what you’re already interested in, or the things that will interest you once you know about them. Whether such things are positive or negative is not relevant…if it’s something that can, does, is, or will be of impact on your life, either in a good or bad way, we need to discuss it.

The most obvious things I choose to touch on are the unavoidable, whether it be for salacious or obvious reasons. Alec Baldwin killing a director on the set of his new movie is a great example. Everyone woke up Friday morning to that news and all of the unknowns made it an unavoidable story. On the other end of the spectrum was the “bomb cyclone,” bearing down on the western part of America and the potential to bring feet of rain and snow, along with flooding, landslides, and endless road closures. Lots of people would either not hear about that or not take it seriously unless we mentioned it, and we had obligation to do so, just so everyone could either prepare or ignore.

At the end of every week, I have piles of stories that I had prepared to discuss and we simply never got to. In most cases, they’re timeless things that I can save for later…things like “the best store-bought cookie brands,” and “the most memorable advertising jingles of all-time,” and so I just slide them into my “stuff for slow days” folder, and move along.

This week and weekend were different. There is so much going on that people are talking about, need to be aware of, updated on, have vetted, or simply have in the back of their minds that we didn’t get to. So, I decided to call an audible and use this week’s soapbox to at least get on the record a multitude of stories, with some minor commentary, that you may have missed, wondered about, or needed some perspective on…so here goes:

GAS PRICES: Yes, they’re still soaring and there’s no end in sight, and yes, in a remote part of Southern California known as Gorda, they’re currently paying over $7.50 a gallon for regular unleaded. This week, President Grandpa himself admitted he sees no relief until well into 2022, a very reassuring message from the one man who could influence the market and immediately lower prices by allowing America to reclaim its place as the world’s number one producer of oil, as we were just a year ago. President Orange made a lot of mistakes, but Grandpa seems to only make mistakes and America’s inflation and out-of-control fuel costs are squarely on him. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10117649/California-town-sees-gas-hit-alarming-7-59-gallon-4-higher-average.html

SUPPLY CHAIN: Speaking of that, experts now say that America’s supply chain crisis is the worst since World War II when submarines were literally sinking commercial traders. The shortage of supplies has already led to toys increasing in price by as much as 400% while food, if you can find what you’re looking for, continues to soar in price daily…again, just like the fuel costs, with no end in sight. Over the next many months expect it to become harder and harder to find the following: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10109363/Supply-chain-crisis-unseen-WWII-bring-disaster-Christmas-Resellers-jack-prices.html

    • Carbonated beverages due to a CO2 shortage
    • Chicken due to demand outpacing supply
    • Coffee due to Brazil’s drought and internal strife as Brazil is the world’s largest coffee supplier
    • Fish Sticks due to shipping delays and container shortages
    • All frozen meals due to panic buying when the dreaded Delta Variant hit, and now supplies can’t keep up
    • Spices and seasonings due to shortages
    • Rice Krispy treats due to a strike at Kellogg’s and various shortages
    • Sour Patch kids due to a strain in the supply chain

    And of course…

Toilet paper because we’re stupid. Apparently the one thing American’s draw the line at is having a dirty butt. https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/2021/10/15/grocery-shortage-toilet-paper-coffee-chicken-hard-find/8455259002/

PRICES: Meanwhile, everything you need to maintain your hygiene and beauty is soaring in price thanks to all of the usual explanations having to do with labor shortages, supply chain issues, and raw material costs. Diapers, tampons, razors, lotions, and all things related to dental and oral hygiene as well deodorants and beauty products will all be increasing exponentially. https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/19/business/procter-and-gamble-prices-olay-crest-oral-b/index.html

And now, some Covid related updates…

BOOSTERS: The CDC is now recommending boosters for anyone who is high risk if they got the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, and that all of us who got the ghetto-ass Johnson and Johnson shot to get another one. The key point here is that it’s merely a recommendation and, for now anyway, people who received two doses of Pfizer or Moderna, or one dose of J&J are considered fully immunized. In other words, if you care only about venues or workplaces that require proof of being vaccinated, these boosters are completely optional. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/health/2021/10/21/cdc-advisory-panel-oks-j-j-moderna-and-mix-and-match-covid-boosters/6114474001/

DELTA PLUS: we mentioned last week that a new subvariant of Delta is spreading like wildfire across the United Kingdom. For the past 20 months, everything that happens in the UK, happens in America one month later so this is glorious news for those who want to live in perpetual fear of Covid, as opposed to those of us who are living WITH Covid. This weekend, Israel announced that the Delta Plus is now making cases skyrocket there as well, continuing the historical model and almost guaranteeing that by Thanksgiving America will once again be freaking out about a fifth wave, despite the rate of hospitalizations and deaths being infinitesimal compared to the pandemic highs, and despite it only affecting those who have chosen to not be vaccinated. We’ll get tons of Covid fear-mongering in addition to cries of the flu being here, as we all continue to forget that getting sick is part of life, and as we all continue to forget that actually living, not just breathing, is supposed to be part of life. https://www.jpost.com/health-and-wellness/coronavirus/delta-variant-descendant-hits-israel-is-it-time-to-panic-682575

HOMESCHOOLING: Quick update for California parents worried about the statewide vaccination mandate for all children in both public and private schools; there has been some worry and confusion over the fact that in California if you want to homeschool your child, you have to register as a private school, and, therefore, many are concerned that the mandate will apply even to those who homeschool. Thanks to finally finding an ally in the Homeschool Association of California, I can report that as of right now, pupils enrolled in home-based private schools and students enrolled in independent study programs who are not receiving classroom-based instruction are not subject to the mandatory vaccinations. Things change, and in California, laws can change at the whim of the supermajority of the Democratic Party, but for now, homeschoolers are exempt. https://www.hsc.org/immunization-exemptions

    Alright…just a couple more and we’re all caught up…

DING DONG, BRIAN IS DEAD: The Gabby/Brian tale is far from over, but a major chapter has been closed. As a reminder, Gabby Petito, 22, turned up dead near a Wyoming campsite on Sept. 19… she and her fiancée Brian Laundrie, both New York Natives, were traveling on a cross-country road trip in Petito's Ford Transit van over the summer before Petito was reported missing. Laundrie drew national attention after returning to his parents' home in North Port, Florida on Sept. 1 home in Petito’s van – without her – and saying nothing about it before vanishing himself less than two weeks later. Ever since, authorities have been looking for him and The FBI on Thursday confirmed remains recovered from the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park in North Port, Florida, on Wednesday were Florida fugitive Brian Laundrie's. Many questions linger, most notably, Laundrie’s parents’ role in all of this and, of course, exactly what happened to Gabby and why. As an aside, one comical sub-plot to this stars John Walsh, formerly of America’s Most Wanted, who has spent the last many weeks going on any TV show that would have him to tell the world that the FBI and cops had screwed this up and there was absolutely no way Laundrie was in the Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park in North Port, Florida. He used the term “red herring,” more than his favorite nickname for Brian’s parents, the very creative “dirty Laundries,”…get it? Good stuff, John. https://www.foxnews.com/us/brian-laundrie-remains-confirmed-by-fbi

    https://nypost.com/2021/09/23/john-walsh-received-multiple-brian-laundrie-tips/

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10018279/John-Walsh-alleges-Brian-Laundries-parents-lied-buy-time-flee.html

RAPE ENTERTAINMENT: You likely heard at least something about the woman who was harassed for 40 minutes and raped for nearly 10 on a Philadelphia train while onlookers did nothing other than use their phones to record the entire ordeal. The story here is not that no one did anything. The bystander effect has been around for decades, and in many cases, has some validity to it. People love to claim that they would “do something,” if they were in that position, which is what we call “absent courage.” It’s very easy to claim that you would do the right thing when you’ve never been confronted with the opportunity. Additionally, there are plenty of reasons to not intervene in certain circumstances, most notably self-preservation. A friend of mine opened my eyes to this over a decade ago; he was a former Navy Seal who had seen and done plenty and educated me as to why no, he wouldn’t put himself in harm’s way for strangers any longer; he was a father now and he wouldn’t be a very good one if he was dead. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10099027/Pennsylvania-man-arrested-raping-woman-inside-train-riders-just-watched.html

The truth is that there’s a lot of reasons people don’t stop things as heinous as rape happening right before their eyes, and in America, there is no law that says that they have to.

However, this is a new low on multiple fronts. For starters, at least a dozen people, and probably a lot more given the duration of this horror, didn’t even call the people who are paid to help strangers. Not one single person called 911 while clearly witnessing a woman in strife, terror, and danger. Not one. No one could even bring themselves to get off the train at one of the many stops it made during this atrocity and, once reaching the platform call 911 or approach a member of the Transportation Authority’s Police Department, which are wandering around everywhere.

More horrifying are those who recorded the rape, and clearly did so for their sick entertainment. Had they been doing so to capture evidence for the police, they would have stayed on the train when the cops arrived and arrested the sicko as he was still raping her. More than a week later, not one has even come forward, probably because they’re too busy going up to their equally sick friends with their phones while saying “duuddde…check this out!”

It isn’t news to those of us with eyes, a brain, and a soul, that we’re de-evolving as a society; what’s occasional news is the rate at which it’s happening. Imagine if that woman was your wife, daughter, or mother, and how you would feel knowing that dozens of strangers couldn’t even literally lift a finger to press three numbered buttons to make sure help was on the way for her. If that doesn’t sicken you, you’re one of them. Congrats on that.

Along the way, we learn about Shelby’s childhood, why he doesn’t have a refrigerator, why he posts pictures of his jet, the role his faith plays in his life, and there’s even an emotional moment when he opens up about how his phone gets in the way of his life at times. Shelby even turns us on to two easy, do-it-right-now ideas that could catapult people towards financial success.

    Rob's Soapbox - Your Team Sucks Oct 17, 2021
    Show notes

It’s that glorious time of the year when all four major sports leagues are playing. With the NFL just 30% of the way into its’ season, both the NBA and NHL just getting started, and Major League Baseball about to crown a champion, it seems an appropriate time to point out that your team sucks.

Not your sports team, your other team, if you have one, and it’s getting harder and harder to find people that don’t.

As I was discussing last week, I love sports but hate most sports fans. The idea that people literally equate their identity to the success and failure of a group of humans they’ve never met and wouldn’t know you from Adam is so infantile and brazenly pathetic it should be studied much deeper at institutions across the country. Sports should merely be seen as a form of entertainment similar to movies and shows. Sure, if they suck, we walk away annoyed or disappointed, but sane people let it go quickly. Letting the outcome of a game determine your mood for the next many days, if not weeks, is clearly demented, not to mention the behavior of a child. There is supposed to come a time in your human development when you learn that pouting is neither an option nor a solution.

This brings us to your other team and the even bigger problem. That team’s season never ends, which is why people never have a chance to just step away from blindly supporting whatever their team is up to. This team, also, is a group of humans that you’ve never met and wouldn’t know you. Worse, they don’t even care about you. At least most professional athletes appreciate the fans en masse. They understand that you’re rooting for them, buying merchandise with their names on it, and in many cases, feeding them energy with loud, in-person support. Your other team literally doesn’t care that you even exist other than to use you. Your wants, needs, and desires are of absolutely no concern to them at all whatsoever. This team even goes so far as to make you promises that they have no intention of keeping. They lie to you constantly, hide everything they can from you, and steal from you. Yes, they steal from you, and yet, you continue to not only support them, but you also loudly scream on their behalf, sometimes violently, and depending on just how invested you are, you even give them your money (the money they haven’t already stolen from you).

I’m talking, of course, about your political team. It sucks. Whether it’s team R or team D, your team is all of the things I just described. Oh, and a quick aside; those of you who try to be cute and separate yourself from political parties by saying instead that you’re either conservative or progressive, you too, are all of the things described and one other big one which says more about you than it does about them; you’re all enormous hypocrites.

This is a problem because too many people (more today than ever before in my lifetime) scream that their team is the solution, and the opposing team is the problem. And yet, both of these political movements abandon what are supposed to be their core principles at the drop of a hat as long as the outcome suits them. That is what we call being unethical, and yet people look the other way when their team does it, which they do constantly, and that, in turn, makes them unethical as well. And they don’t seem to care, as long as their side wins. Now we’ve gone from unethical to unscrupulous. Sociopathic and psychotic are the only two steps left on the ladder down to complete and total cretin.

For example, last week a 16-year-old girl knowingly violated the rules of her high school, repeatedly and intentionally. This form of blatant flouting of the rules, and questioning of authority is the type of behavior consistently condemned by team R. After all, they’re the law-and-order party. And yet, this girl became the conservative hero of the week. You see, just like with Kyle Rittenhouse, law and order only apply now to team R, when it’s being used to uphold something that they agree with. So, Grace Smith was hailed as brave and strong for intentionally getting suspended for not wearing a mask to school. Since team R is against mask mandates, the ends justify the means, which is the thought process of a true intellectual coward. As an aside, it was also misreported endlessly that she was arrested for not wearing a mask. She was arrested, but for trespassing, after she was told to leave school grounds after being suspended and refusing to do so. But the truth isn’t important when we’re trying to win. https://www.foxnews.com/us/wyoming-girl-suspended-arrested-trespassing-mask-mandate

    https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2021/07/05/kyle-rittenhouse-american-vigilante

Speaking of such policies, team D has, for decades, preached the slogan “my body, my choice.” It applies most notably to their support of legalized abortion, but also to the issue of consent, gender identification, and something called “body integrity.” But as far as team D is concerned, it is no longer your body, your choice when it comes to wearing masks or injecting medicine into you.

Leaping back to team R for a moment, the team that preaches law and order, much more extreme examples of their hypocrisy than the hero anti-mask girl would be the insurrectionists of January 6th and all of the various right-wing nationalists constantly threatening or engaging in activities that have to be stopped by who else but law enforcement? It’s the same thing with the 2nd amendment and/or we’re-going-to-civil war Nazis who without thinking, talk about getting in gun battles with cops that come to their doors…not very law and order friendly.

Progressives/liberals/Democrats continue, to this day, to preach that Covid isn’t gone, wear your mask, kids in schools all wear masks, get tested, isolate, be safe…and yet 2 million illegal migrants have streamed into this country since President grandpa took office, and less than 10% of them were even tested for Covid, let alone only 33% of them accepting vaccination. https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/immigration

Back to my conservative friends on team R, the party of small/less government and letting local people, like your elected school board, make local decisions…unless, of course, you don’t like the decisions they’re making and then you pass laws and executive orders in your state banning local leaders from instituting things like mask mandates. They’re also the party of small businesses and the freedom of business owners to make their own decisions. They championed the Colorado baker who didn’t want to make a cake for a gay couple because it’s his right, not just religiously, but as the owner of the business! But if you own a business in many conservative states and want to require your employees or customers to be vaccinated, suddenly that’s not your right any longer.

Team D is the party of woke-ism. They stand up for any and every minority there is unless they find out someone in that minority is on team R, and then that particular minority person is no longer a protected class, they’re a traitor for having their own individual thoughts.

The examples are endless, which is why it’s all so disconcerting to say the least. We have lost more than just our moral compass, we’ve lost more than just our souls, we’ve lost ourselves, entirely. Rather than using fundamental, core principles to guide and help us decide, we merely identify the outcome we want and then say that any means necessary will do. Worse, in many cases, many people don’t even bother to think about the outcome, they just ask “what does my team want, I’m in favor of that!”

All of this amidst the backdrop of being a sports fan. When some rabid fan is all jazzed the day after his team wins, to the point where he won’t shut up about it (and I’m talking about “that guy,” not people who just have a spring in their step for a day, but the guy who is acting like he just won the lottery, his wife gave birth, and he’s in remission from cancer all in the same day), my favorite approach is to ask the moron how, exactly, his life has improved as a result of the outcome of this particular game? Does he have more money? Has his health vastly improved? Are all his problems gone? Do his wife and kids hate him any less?

Oh sure, you can argue that happiness and a celebratory mood are good for the soul, and I’ll grant you that, but I won’t grant you that this is equitable happiness. Over-the-top joy and adulation over an accomplishment you had quite literally absolutely nothing to do with is beyond vapid; it shows how empty your life really is.

With your political teams, it is almost simultaneously contradictory, which makes it more maddening to watch you all engage in this sort of fandom. On one hand, allowing politicians to have anything to do with your ability to live a happy and/or successful life is the approach of losers. When team R members scream and yell about all of the taxes and restrictions put on their ability to start and run businesses, that’s just pathetic if it actually paralyzes you. You don’t have to like it but adapt and overcome. I have no respect for people who leave states they literally love in every other way because of politics. Stay and fight, you coward. Fight to find a way to excel despite the difficult conditions placed before you.

Conversely, it is absolutely true that if one of these teams wins too many times in a row, in too many of their most extreme ways, it will have an effect on almost all of us, and in almost universally negative ways. The Climate Change extremists are teetering on major victories that will dismantle America’s ability to be the globe’s superpower, and are already having devastating effects on our current economy. We are inches away from a goal line stand that, if it fails, could outlaw abortion in America; a decision that will not end abortions in any way, it will merely end in many more deaths of not just babies, but their mothers. Post Roe v Wade America will look like Prohibition America, but a lot more bloody. Behavior controlists have won a major victory with the vaccine mandates and have been given a new template on how to use the “greater good,” argument to get what they want. If they’re allowed to continue, they will soon argue that, in order to keep hospitals from overflowing, we all have to do our part, all of the time. That means more than wearing masks, it means eating certain things and banning others to combat obesity and cancer. It means mandating exercise and banning certain kinds of speech.

Neither movement is right all of the time. In fact, based on history, they’re both wrong half of the time, which is the ultimate irony. Your team needs their team. America needs both teams in order to win. When the two teams are focused on their agendas, and not on destroying one another, they check each other from going too far. For now, that ship has sailed, and even if it wanted to turn around and come back, it would simply sit offshore in Long Beach for months on end, rotting like our food and furniture currently is.

No, by the way, I don’t know what the solution is, but I do know that we would start to move towards it if more Americans would step away from the table of madness, take off their R or D jerseys and instead, put on their “USA,” sweaters. Your teams suck, and they’re making America suck…and you…you are not “saving America,” you all are ruining America and you all suck.

    Rob's Soapbox - Vaccinated Vegan Cross-Fitters Oct 11, 2021
    Show notes

Vaccinated people are the worst. And I say this as a vaccinated person…any chance I can have the juice removed?

The old joke is that a vegan, a cross-fitter, and an atheist walk into a bar…how do you know who’s who?...wait 5 seconds they’ll all tell you…because they can’t help themselves from bragging about how great they are. Covid Vaccinated people have jumped that line and become even more annoying as if anyone thought that was possible.

Never mind the social media posts of idiots bragging that they got the shot or posting their vax cards….that’s nothing compared to the outlandish, idiotic, and uneducated attitudes of the vaxxed.

To be clear, my wife and I got the jab for a couple of simple reasons; we saw what was coming as it relates to mandates, and after 12 years in the army, believe it or not, I’m not the most concerning thing that has been injected into my wife, and that’s saying something. So, we decided to take the plunge together…I mean seriously, if you’re married and can’t agree on getting the same thing put into your bodies, why are you married? We didn’t get the vaccine because either one of us is concerned about the dreaded virus. As it stands right now, as of the CDC report Friday, October 8, 2021, if you’re under the age of 70, you have a 99.95% likelihood of survival if you contract covid, vaccinated or not. These are facts, as reported by the government that few people trust these days, so do the math. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-data/investigations-discovery/hospitalization-death-by-age.html

And I admit that it was, in fact, liberating for a moment, especially a month after we got jabbed when the CDC said that vaccinated people could rip off their masks in perpetuity! How liberating! No more face coverings (which, for the record, my wife and I weren’t wearing anyway, but that’s for another time…)

And then…nope. We’re going to literally make up junk science as we go and say that vaccinated people need to wear masks.

Wait…what? If the vaccine works (and it does), why do I need to wear a mask? If I get a breakthrough case (as will happen with 1% of all vaccinated people for all diseases on average) almost nothing will happen to me. In fact, there’s a .0003% chance I’ll wind up in the hospital if I even contract Covid after vaccination. To put that in perspective, your chance of dying from a lightning strike is .0007 percent, and your chance of dying from a seasonal flu is 0.1 percent. If you’re vaccinated, you have a much greater chance of dying from a hornet, wasp or bee string, a dog attack, a car crash, drowning, sunstroke, or choking on food than you do of dying from covid-19. So why are you telling me to wear a mask? To protect other people? Put bluntly…fuck them. They have access to the vaccine, if they choose not to get it, that’s on them, not to mention that vaccinated people don’t carry the same viral load as the unvaccinated if we do get infected, and oh, let’s not gloss over the fact that masks are meaningless, as professed and admitted to by no less than Dr. Michael Osterholm. https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-251-viral/fact-check-study-did-not-find-vaccinated-healthcare-workers-carry-251-times-the-viral-load-of-those-who-were-unvaccinated-idUSL1N2PX1HH

    https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/31/health/fully-vaccinated-people-breakthrough-hospitalization-death/index.html#:~:text=Tech-,About%2099.999%25%20of%20fully%20vaccinated%20Americans%20have%20not%20had%20a,breakthrough%20case%2C%20CDC%20data%20shows

    https://www.webmd.com/vaccines/covid-19-vaccine/news/20210702/study-says-vaccinated-people-who-get-covid-carry-less-virus

Unless you’re wearing an N-95 mask (which fewer than 10% of Americans are) you’re not doing a damn thing to protect yourself or anyone else. Sorry kids, but you can’t scream “SCIENCE,” and then only follow the science that you like. https://www.foxnews.com/media/biden-covid-adviser-americans-need-to-wear-n95-masks

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9914969/Popular-blue-surgical-face-masks-NOT-stop-people-infected-COVID-19.html

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9858577/Former-Biden-COVID-adviser-says-cloth-masks-ineffective-preferring-N95-mask.html

    But, I digress…

Let’s go back to the beginning…most people who got the vaccine early on, did so to protect themselves…and, without a doubt, the vaccine works. I can’t deal with those of you who claim it doesn’t, you’re beyond helpable…those of you who remain hesitant because you’re uneasy or unsure about the “newness” of the vaccine, I sympathize with. You’re completely misinformed, uneducated, and beyond stupid, but I still sympathize. After all, you’ve been lied to by plenty of people and you’re clearly incapable of doing your own research to prove that the vaccine itself has been in development since 2003. https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/Coronavirus/Community_Resources/Vaccinations/Print-Materials/Fact-Sheets/Development_English.pdf

Those of you who argue the “long term effects,” have the winning argument because, after all, there’s no rebuttal. This is why the climate change fear mongering works so well; demand something horrible will happen years in the future and scaring the living hell out of everyone with absolutely no proof whatsoever and how is anyone to argue that? We all just get to sit here and wait for me to grow a third arm until I don’t.

Either way, those of us who are vaccinated should be the most egotistical, arrogant, cocky, confident sons-of-bitches on the planet because we’ve got this thing licked. And yet survey after survey shows that vaccinated people aren’t willing to be around unvaccinated people…HUH? WHAT? There is literally no sense to any of this, and that’s why vaccinated people are the worst. They proudly proclaim that they’ve done the right thing for society, and yet they entirely dismiss centuries of science and months of provable data that refutes any reason for any vaccinated person to be at all concerned about Covid moving forward. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-9975083/Fully-vaccinated-Americans-one-13-000-chance-severe-breakthrough-COVID-case.html

I hate vaccinated people. We all suck. We should have just let the virus wipe out whatever percentage of the population it was going to and move forward from there. Stop bragging about being “vaxxed and relaxed,” and let people live their lives. Between vaccinations and infections, we’re beyond herd immunity and it’s time to stop all of this. You’re no hero for getting vaccinated; you’re either old, immune-compromised, coerced or a god damn lemming. That’s who we are; the vaccinated are a bunch of weaklings who have gone along to get along. Own it; that’s why my wife and I got the shot, just admit why you did; if you’re 90 years old like my father, you absolutely should have gotten the shot, but don’t act like you’re Iron Man. You’re not. You did what you needed to do to protect yourself. And stop with the “greater good argument,” the minute I see any of you on the Southern border stopping the 2 million non-tested, non-vaccinated immigrants from entering this country, I’ll be the first to applaud. I won’t hold my breath.
