Bobby explains what his biggest concern about the Boilermakers going into the game, identifies Fletcher Loyer as the player that needs to step up as a scorer against a ferocious Houston defense, and echoes what Elliot Bloom told Jake yesterday about what makes playing at Purdue so special compared to some other programs in college athletics.

    Pacers vs Lakers Tonight + Purdue Preview! Elliot Bloom, Pat Knight, and Alex Palou join! Mar 26, 2025
    Show notes

    (00:00-24:15) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day Wednesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison starting to hype up another Sweet 16 appearance for Matt Painter and company. They also gauge the hotel line of fans that are camping outside the Lakers hotel on a scale from one to ten. Finally, they provide an update on the IU players that have entered the transfer portal.

    (24:15-36:32) – Jake and Eddie continue the conversation about Purdue’s upcoming game against Houston on Friday night. They highlight the one of the biggest challenges that Kelvin Sampson’s team presents for the Boilermakers.

    (36:32-47:45) – The first hour of the program concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing the importance of tonight’s game for the Pacers with the Bucks being without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard tonight. Finally, they debate if they would rather face the Detroit Pistons or Milwaukee Bucks in the first round of the playoffs.

Jake starts the program by discussing the theme of today’s show surrounding the letter “p.” Jake gets into Purdue, the transfer portal, and the Pacers from last night.

    (24:10-36:19) – Evan Sherrill from Cluster Truck drops off lunch for Jake and Eddie during the break and briefly joins the guys on the show to highlight the number of locations they serve, how many people they have on staff, and his favorite items on the menu.     (1:11:16-1:19:08) – Jake missed yesterday’s show because of flying back from California for IndyCar’s race. He shares his opinion on how the race went and then his experience in Palm Springs.

    (1:19:08-1:28:39) – Hour number two concludes with Jake and Eddie giving away a pair of tickets for a listener to go see The Black Keys in concert in August at Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park!

    Purdue Advances to Another Sweet 16 + Fixing College Basketball's Biggest Problems Mar 24, 2025

    (00:00-26:24) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Brian Noe filling in for Jake Query while he travels back from California. Brian and producer Eddie Garrison open the show by discussing the IU women’s loss to South Carolina in the NCAA Tournament yesterday and then congratulating Matt Painter on his sixth Sweet 16 in the last eight years with a commanding win over McNeese.

    (26:24-40:33) – Brian and Eddie continue the NCAA Tournament chatter by debating whether the men’s tournament should mimic the women’s tournament with the first two rounds of the tournament on the home court. Brian believes that the men should, but Eddie doesn’t.

    (40:33-44:09) – The first hour of the program concludes with Brian and Eddie trying to figure out why there have not been a ton of upsets in the NCAA Tournament this season.

    (44:09-1:06:50) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joins Query & Company with Brian Noe to get some of his thoughts on the NCAA Tournament, weighs in on which player the Colts should select based off the names that Brian provides him with, admits that the Colts drafting a guard with the fourteenth pick doesn’t make sense to him, and lays out what Anthony Richardson needs to show this season for Indianapolis in a make or break season.

    Live From Prime 47! Pacers Squeak Out Another Win! Chandler Thompson & Kevin Bowen Join! Mar 21, 2025

    (00:00-24:48) – Query & Company opens on a Friday from Prime 47 with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison back in the studio discussing last night’s win for the Pacers over the Brooklyn Nets. Jake discusses how Bennedict Mathurin has been the catalyst for the Pacers wins the last two nights. Also, he highlights some of the upsets that we saw in the NCAA Tournament yesterday.

    (24:48-34:03) – The second segment of the show starts with Jake and Eddie discussing the dawg mentality that Bennedict Mathurin has played with the last two nights without Tyrese Haliburton. They remind people what he said about LeBron James and have a discussion where LeBron ranks right now amongst the best players in the NBA.

    (34:03-42:10) – The first hour of the program concludes with Jake pleading for the NCAA to bring back specific courts for each location instead of similar courts with different colors. Additionally, he discusses one of the famous dinners that happened at Prime 47 years ago.
