A good chunk of their conversation is centered around the Pacers by discussing which team they’d rather see in the playoffs, assessing which position Indiana should look at upgrading this offseason, and examines where Bennedict Mathurin and Jarace Walker fit in with the future of the Pacers.

    Pacers Begin Final Week Of Regular Season + The Masters & NFL Draft Preview! Apr 08, 2025
    Show notes

    (00:00-24:31) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison recapping last night’s NCAA Tournament Championship game between Florida and Houston. Additionally, Jake previews the start of the final week of the regular season for the Indiana Pacers against the Washington Wizards.

    (24:31-37:41) – With the college basketball season over, Jake and Eddie have a conversation about the transfer portal and NIL. They wonder if the NIL money that people provide collectives with will eventually dry up because they become frustrated with giving money to schools that haven’t won despite having one of the best budgets.

    (37:41-46:30) – The first hour of the program concludes with Jake sharing the names of the winners from the NCAA Tournament numbers game!

    (46:30-1:14:15) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins Jake Query to access Jake’s take on the Indianapolis Colts taking a hard look at selecting a quarterback in the middle rounds of the upcoming draft.     Pacers Beat Nuggets + NCAA Championship Preview! Dustin Dopirak & Mike Chappell Join! Apr 07, 2025
    Show notes

    (00:00-24:57) – Query & Company opens on a Monday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the Indiana Pacers defeating the Denver Nuggets last night without Pascal Siakam. They discuss how last night’s game defines the Pacers with how they complement each other so well. Finally, Jake touches on Alexander Ovechkin breaking Wayne Gretzky’s goals record yesterday.

    (24:57-35:02) – With tonight’s NCAA Tournament Championship game set, Jake discusses Houston’s improbable comeback against Duke. Jake relives the history of the Cougars since they have a chance to win their first NCAA Tournament in school history.

    (35:02-44:40) – The first hour of the program concludes with Jake addressing some of the comments made following Houston’s win where people are suggesting this is what Indiana gets for firing Kelvin Sampson.

    (44:40-1:08:23) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from CBS4 and FOX59 joins the program to continue the discussion Jake and Eddie had earlier in the program about the lack of buzz ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.     (26:47-38:03) – Jake starts the segment off by asking Eddie about the low attendance numbers right now in MLB because he believes that the regional sports networks are causing the lack of fan interest in the sport. Additionally, Jake provides an update on what Purdue and Indiana have lost/gained in the transfer portal.

    (38:03-44:47) – The first hour of the program concludes with Jake trying to guess which soon to be Hall of Famer was at Hamilton Southeastern High School last night for the Chipotle Nationals.

    (00:00-25:08) – Query & Company opens on a Hump Day with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison paying tribute to Jersey Johnny Cismasko after learning about his passing. Additionally, they discuss tonight’s Pacers game against the Hornets and the news that Camden Heide is entering the transfer portal.

    (25:08-35:57) – The Athletic’s James Boyd joins Jake Query from the Charlotte airport to recap the big national topics of discussion that took place at the NFL Owner’s Meetings. James also comments on the quarterback competition during OTAs and training camp, explains what Caitlin Clark was doing in Palm Beach, and then evaluates when the NFL is going to say enough when it comes to Aaron Rodgers.
