    (00:00-28:38) – IndyCar legend Mario Andretti starts the show with Jake. What made Mario a great driver? Also, when did he know it was time to walk away from racing? He looks back at what drove him as a competitor and his role with the United States and formula 1. He also reflects on Marco Andretti's retirment and why he let his grandson make his own decison. Lastly, Andretti comments on how it feels to come back every May.

    (28:38-37:59) –Jake was in a car accident this morning. He describes the surreal feeling. He and everyone involved is okay and thanks everyone for the help they provided him.

    (37:59-40:50) – Curt Cavin joins quickly before Jake offers his opinion on some of the NFL team's schedule release videos before he asks fill-in producer Caleb Zuver's quick thoughts on it.

    (40:50-1:07:15) – Joel A. Erickson from the Indianapolis Star joins while giving blood. He opines on the Colts schedule before Jake asks him a question stemming from his car accident this morning. Plus, Jake explains his fear of needles to Joel and how it contributed him to being a sportscaster. They comment on the running back room and the defense. Lastly, how did they feel about the Colts schedule release video?

    LIVE at IMS! Derek Schultz hosts first hour + Fever get first win and NFL Schedule release tonight! May 14, 2026
    Show notes

    (00:00-24:14) – Derek Schultz fills in for the first hour of the show and begins by talking about the NFL Schedule release happening tonight. He dives into the craze of social media schedule release videos plus what are the games that of interest to him on the Colts schedule. He takes a look at the Colts core and how Alec Pierce will have to step into a leadership role.

    (24:14-36:53) – James Boyd from the Athletic and The Fan Morning Show joins Derek during the first hour to lets us in on what he is looking for in the schedule release tonight, where Daniel Jones is in his recovery and what they could still add. Lastly, he explains how he takes in the month of May.

    (36:53-45:32) – Jake joins the show after his event in the morning. Jake wonders why Derek calls him his best friend despite not inviting him to his 40th birthday. They get into the Colts schedule and what they would like to see.

    (45:32-1:14:21) – Jake resets the show with David Salters, President of Honda Racing Corportation for the US. He explains the communication between his racing department and the Honda company and the international significance of the Indy 500. Jake talks about his recent visit to David's home country, the United Kingdom. He also brings on Indy NXT driver Tymek Kucharczyk to talk about his win on the IMS road course, what it means for him to be the first Polish driver to race in Indy NXT, and gives Jake recommendations for Polish music.
