    On today’s Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett is joined by Jim Moore for the first hour of the show as they chat about the current landscape in college athletics and why Tony Bennett retired from Virginia and expect more coaches to follow suit. Will Jake Dickert stay in Pullman long term or if he wins will he be pried away from a bigger program?


    Puck and Jim are joined by their handicapper TroyWins.com who goes over his top picks for the college football and NFL weekend. Plus, Troy gives his “Lock of the Week.”



    After Puck and Jim say goodbye to Troy, they finish up their portion of the show with thoughts on the Yankees/Guardians and they played the great spanish radio call from Cleveland. Finally, before Jim goes they play “Friday Voicemails” and introduce two new characters in Jerry Seinfeld and Jimmy Lake.

    Puck returns after some technical problems, and chats about the future of Cal Raleigh with the Mariners, based on yesterday’s conversation with Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times. He also delves into Dan Lanning's controversial coaching decision, and now is leaning to thinking that Lanning didn’t do it on purpose because Puck doesn’t think he’s that smart.


    Andy Bunker, host at 92.9 The Game in Atlanta previews Seahawks/Falcons on Sunday. They chat about both teams' offensive and defensive strengths and weaknesses. The conversation touches on Kirk Cousins' reception in Atlanta and Michael Penix's role in the Falcons' preparation.


    Falcons are led by former Washington head coach Jimmy Lake as their defensive coordinator, however, Atlanta has been quite weak on defense, something Seattle in Andy’s opinion will take advantage of. Both agree that Sunday’s will be a shootout.
