    This week, Chris and Derek go back and watch the 1984 Amy Heckerling film "Johnny Dangerously". This Gen-X comedy classic stars Michael Keaton and Marilu Henner. The guys discuss the cast, how the movie has held up after 37 years and also talk about scenes and quotes from the film. It's safe to say that Chris liked this movie significantly more than Derek did. For the trivia segment of the show, Derek asks Chris a series of trivia questions about the actor Michael Keaton.

    This week, Chris nominated director Quentin Tarantino's 1992 debut film "Reservoir Dogs". Last episode, Derek had Chris watch "The Departed" (2006), so Chris thought "Reservoir Dogs" was a good Gen-X complement to Martin Scorsese's film. For the trivia segment of the show, Derek asks Chris questions about Best Picture Oscar nominees that have an animal in the title.

    Have you ever thought that a TV show got cancelled too early or maybe just ended a little too soon? We all know TV shows that we felt deserved one more season. Chris and Derek run down their personal top 5 lists of TV shows that they feel should have gotten one more season. For the trivia segment of the show, Chris gives Derek a TV show and the over/under on the number of seasons in its total series run. Derek simply has to guess the over/under. Easy right? Maybe not!


    Episode 177: “Unstoppable” (2010): Movie Review Apr 23, 2021

    This week, Derek nominated the 2010 Tony Scott action film about a runaway train, "Unstoppable". Naturally, Chris has not seen this movie. Since the movie came out after 1989, we all know how much Chris will love it! For the trivia segment of the show, Chris gives Derek a year and a synopsis and Derek must guess the movie title. The common thread... all of the movies begin with "Un" in the title.


    Episode 176: “The Cannonball Run” (1981): Movie Review Apr 16, 2021

    Chris has Derek go back and watch the 1981 Hal Needham car race movie, "The Cannonball Run". 40 years later, and the movie has some issues standing the test of time. How does it hold up? What were some memorable scenes? What about that massive cast? Where do you find a copy of this movie anymore? These questions and more are discussed by the guys this episode. For the trivia segment of the show, Derek quizzes Chris on movies with memorable car chases in them.

    Yancy is back! Chris McBrien and Derek Myers are joined by the original co-host of the podcast, Yancy Eaton this week as they run down their top 5 lists of the best drummers of all time. The guys all agree that Neil Peart is the greatest drummer ever. So, they then each take turns listing their top 5 'next best' drummers. But before they get to their lists, Chris debuts his new song, "I'm the O.G.". Also, Chris has recently gotten a set of drums, so he plays them for the guys and gets their feedback. For the trivia segment of the show, they play a game called "Pokemon or Drug?'. In this game, Chris mentions a bizarre name and Yancy has to decide if it is a Pokemon or a prescription drug. It's harder than you think!

They settled on the 1963 John Sturges prisoner of war film "The Great Escape" starring Steve McQueen, Richard Attenborough, James Garner and Charles Bronson.
