Is there a caste system?
Another strong episode in a fantastic season with only a couple jokes that didn’t age well! We check in on the fashion of AJLT Season 3, and speculate about what the heck type of event everyone is attending dressed in all black! On the episode proper, Carrie once again mis-interprets a small event and blows it up into cheating (?) with a lowly cater waiter, Samantha dates a man who presents as well less rich than she is but he has some kind of kink “servant” (their words not ours) living with him. Charlotte dates a movie star who shockingly turns out to be a dirtbag, and Miranda and Steve break all of our hearts, for the first, but definitely not the last, time. Enjoy!!!

“Can you change a man?” Short answer: no, women are pretty much expected to just kind of accept men for all their little “quirks” and collapse into themselves like a dying star. Things are going great with Mr. Big so Carrie needs to find something else to overreact and complain about. Miranda (understandably) is not loving only getting to see her new BF Steve between the hours of 2-5 am. Charlotte kind of gets what’s coming to her after she shames her man into getting circumcised, and Samantha’s storyline includes Drag Queens, so we love that! Enjoy!!!

Another solid episode of season 2 shows us that it wasn’t just a Mandela effect; Cynthia Nixon WAS really funny and great in this series! Is there a cheating curve? Well, not necessarily, Carrie, but there IS the concept of lying to your friends for no reason!
